non-profit organization catering to the
needs of at-risk youth (7yrs thru 17yrs).
Our program offers a variety of services to
help address the needs of these children.
Such as, anger management, help with
education (address behavior issues, academic
performance, transportation), food, shelter,
clothing, guidance while in the home, and
many other services. The children within our
care reside at the home 24 hours a day for
usually 6 to 12 months. Sometimes longer! Our
kids have criminal records and has a
commitment to the State. We have 2
locations! We provide staff around the

One of the problems we are addressing is that there is a large number of
street children and orphans in countries in Africa, Asian, and Eastern
Europe.
The causes of this problem are: HIV/AIDS, genocide, child abandonment,
rape, torture, domestic abuse, poverty, war, and the lack of economic
opportunity, coupled with little to no education of parents and
guardians. This has resulted in a large number of disenfranchised
children and families who are unable to avail themselves of
opportunities available to socially integrated families and community
members. Human rights violations against children in the 1990s have
become a common and disturbing occurrence in many African countries.
There is an urgent need for the problems to be addressed. The long-term
consequences of this problem if not address with result in children will
not having proper nutrition because of lack of food. Children will not
have educational opportunities due to lack of requisite school fees.
Children will not have money to purchase clothing appropriate for their
size or the season. Parents will send their children into the streets to
beg, steal, engage in petty trade, or prostitute, which will place them
in danger of petty street thugs, vehicular accidents, drug abuse, and
those who prey upon the less fortunate.

minister to orphans, street children, and children from destitute
families located in the following countries: Bulgaria, Burkina Faso,
Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Gambia,
India, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Liberia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Rwanda, South
Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
eBlessings consists of several orphanages, churches,
ministries, and organizations dedicated and currently serving in the
assistance of less-privileged and disenfranchised children and families.
In Liberia, the Children for Christ Ministries International, founded in
2005, daily cares for ninety-eight children who live in conditions,
which are less than adequate. They have fifteen administrators and eight
volunteers. Founded after the 1994 genocide in Rwanda, the HOSTA (Hope
for Orphans, Skills Through Training) orphanage has over three hundred
orphans who live on the compound. There are four eBlessings partners in
Rwanda at present with well over three hundred orphans, numerous staff
and volunteers. In India, in the Andhra Pradesh region, there are four
eBlessings partners, one of which is the Light of Hope Association. Our
partners care for over sixty-five orphans cared for by LOHA, Four
Corners Ministries, Jesus Gospel Outreach Ministries, and Jesus Love
Ministries, not to include street children and children of destitute
families. There are over twelve administrators and just fewer than
twenty volunteers to assist with these children with that number
fluctuating depending on the severity of the typhoon season and the
flooding. We have other additional partnering organizations and
relationships.
eBlessings is
positioned to assist in this issue because this ministry is presently
networking with numerous ministries in the countries mentioned above who
are currently working to improve upon the conditions of street children,
orphans, and destitute families who are in their communities presently.
eBlessings is a clearinghouse for the distribution of funds. Through our
network, we are continuing to created intercommunication amount network
members and interoperability between the network partners. Our approach
is unique in that we have church organizations and civic organizations
which are in-country working in an effort to relieve the destitute
situations in which so many children are presently living or in which
they are surviving with the least quality of life imaginable. We are in
constant communication with these ministries to ascertain ways
eBlessings can assist their efforts and how they can assist one another
with the problems which are similar to their circumstances.
