In North India and Myanmar, some families
have been helped by a number of projects which have been completed and you are
needed to secure funding for future quality of life projects.
They need our help... You can
help. We can help...
No matter your station in life, find
joy in your faith.
“Now if God so clothes the grass of the
field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven,
will He
not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?”
MATTHEW 6:30 (NKJ)
A
friend suffering from
depression was complaining that the Lord had not healed them. They
had been praying daily, nightly, and often to secure their healing
from the Lord. They were now wondering why the Lord had not moved on
their behalf. The Holy Spirit responded.
When we pray the LORD is sure to hear our prayers if the prayers are
not selfish and are prayed to the glory of GOD. We have to believe
that the Lord is our Father and will surely respond to us. “But
seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these
things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33 (NKJ) The
answers to our prayers may not look like, or be what we want, but
they will surely be what God wants for us.
When we walk in depression, addiction, or some other affliction, we
form habits relating to our situation, to our challenge. We move,
live, and exist in those patterns of handling our challenge. When we
pray for our deliverance, healing, or life change, we must believe
it from the bottom of our feet to the top of our heads. And we have
to exercise faith. We must stop existing in the pattern, stop
exhibiting the same behavior, stop believing the same things which
we believed (what we see with our eyes) before we prayed the prayer
of faith…believing. We must apply faith to what we have asked our
Father, God Almighty for…believing. Apply faith to the relationship
we have with God and His Son Jesus and STOP applying faith to your
inability to see, to walk, to be healthy, to live, or to feel good.
Apply faith to what you do not see.
What we all look for, more correctly, what we feel for are feelings
related to our challenge. If you are depressed, then you expect to
“feel” good as a sign that you have been healed. Or you expect your
vision to get better, your leg to get stronger, before you “feel”
good about God having answered your prayer request. That is applying
faith to an event not in God. It is akin to applying faith to your
sickness; you BELIEVE you are sick. Do not trust the physical, but
the supernatural. Our physical bodies will die and cease to exist,
but our spiritual bodies will never die. Do not wait to feel good to
know that God has done a thing. He will do it because you have asked
or because it is in His Will for your life.
A football running back does not get excited about running a
touchdown until he crosses the goal line. He doesn’t get the feeling
until he has done the required action. You must do the required
action…faith, i.e., change your poor habits to get the results
desired. Do not look for the feelings first. The action comes
first..faith, then the feelings. The Lord may have already healed
you, but you are living, existing in the old you, the old way of
believing in your sickness, not trusting you are healed. When we
continue in our old habits, we often cannot see the miracle that
Lord has performed in us. That is why I say, do not trust your
feelings, they will betray you. Trust what the Word says, what Jesus
says.
Praise the Lord for what you know He
will do. What happens when you praise the Lord before you see the
manifestation of your miracle, your spirit changes to the positive
to receive your healing, and your new joy allows you to see the
many, many miracles which you and I live in every day. You become
happy with where you are and people wonder how you can be so happy
and full of joy in your pitiful state. You say, “It is Jesus.”

We have the power within us to become
that which we desire to become. Activate it.
“But as many as received him to them gave he power
to become the sons of god, even
to them that believe on his name:”
JOHN 1:12 (KJV)
“And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples,
he gave them power against
unclean spirits, to cast them out,
and to heal all manner of sickness
and all manner of disease.”
MATTHEW 10:1 (KJV)
POWER
TO BECOME. In life many
things are bound to happen for the fact that the devil is coming
down with great wrath because he knows he has but a little time. He
wants to make sure that every one who is called by the name of the
Lord is cast out of their purpose and the perfect will of God.
He’s been fighting to make sure that everyone lives without the
power and the knowledge of what his or her place is in God. But
there is one assurance God gives us all, and as many that will
plunge into the revelation of that word will never be a puppet in
the hand of satan, "But As Many As Received Him." It is quite
important that every one who is called by the name of God understand
their places in God. For when we begin to understand our place in
God the devil will not have a place to stand.
Rise up from wherever you are and receive the power to become that
which you have been praying to become. Overtake the enemy and
conquer all. “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All
power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” Matthew 28:18
(KJV) WHEN YOU DISCOVER YOUR PLACES IN CHRIST JESUS, YOU RECEIVE THE
POWER TO BECOME WHAT EVER YOU WANT TO BE.
“Behold, I give
unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the
power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
Luke 10:19 “But ye shall receive power, after
that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto
me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto
the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8
Prayer: Lord, Let me be what I am
originally created to be. Amen.

People draw conclusions about you and
judge you by what comes out of your mouth.
“Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked, from the
insurrection of the workers of iniquity, who sharpen their tongue
like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their
arrows—bitter words.”
PSALMS 64:2-3 (NKJ)
A
Pattern of Conversation. I
was talking to a friend and was asked about the affection of a woman
towards him. As he was talking the Holy Spirit came upon me and
politely waited for him to finish. The Holy Spirit told him that
there is a pattern of conversation which will allow us to discern,
to know what a person’s true intent is. I let him know that people
are creatures of habit and of motivation. We do what we do based on
specific motivations.
The Holy Spirit let him know that a person’s motivations are going
to show up in their patterns of conversation. They are going to tell
on themselves, tell you what their motivation is, during their
conversation by giving you a pattern of their motivation based on
their conveyance of the issues which they are trying to get you
involved in. In other words, the same web they are weaving now to
trap you, to get you involved in their scheme, has been woven in a
web of words an action (behavior) which they will communicate to
you. Their motivation will be woven in a web of words which depict
specific past patterns of behavior.
It is important for us to know that it is easy for someone to say
something to us like: “I love you.” Or “I have been looking for you
all my life.” Or “I will take care of you for the rest of your
life.” What is more important though is to look at the action of the
person. The person may say one thing, but what are their actions
saying? “You love me, but why are you staying out all night.”
“You’ll do anything for me, then why aren’t you taking out the
trash.” Actions speak louder than words most of the time, but words
can be very loud too. And silence can speak the loudest. But the
past actions which follow the past words can be seen before the new
action is committed in a pattern of behavior or a patterns of words,
when viewed by the discerning eye.
I have found that the Holy Spirit will allow someone to say an
untruth, but then in the next breath correct themselves. Or say
something like, you have to watch out for liars, and they turn right
around and tell a lie. God has got control of this thing called
Life. All we have to do is follow the lead of Jesus and watch and
pray. “But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly
they shall be wounded. So He will make them stumble over their own
tongue;” Psalms 64:7-8 (NKJ)

Confess your sins, one to another,
and your prayers will be effective.
“Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily
I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only
do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall
say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the
sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in
prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”
MATTHEW 21:21-22 (KJV)
Pray
for one another. The Bible
says for us to pray for one another. That is a blessed thing to do.
It shows that we care for one another. It also shows that we take
the time and energy out of our busy schedules to do what is in our
ability to do for someone beside ourselves. It is important for us
to give of our time and energy to others in an effort to help them
in some way.
I have an issue with people who keep coming to you requesting
prayer. Or people who you know by the Holy Spirit are trusting in
your prayers instead of their own. Some people trust in prayers more
than they trust in the Holy Spirit, or in Christ, or even in God.
Some people place faith that someone else’s prayers will reach God,
while their prayers will not. They may believe their lives are so
sinful or what they have done in the past is so terrible, that God
will not receive their prayers. What people often harbor in their
hearts is unforgiveness, unbelief, or shame. These things can cause
one’s faith not to lock onto the fact that Jesus paid the price for
your sins.
“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one to
his own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.”
Isaiah 53:6 (NKJ) Jesus died on the cross for our sins; all of
our sins, for all of us. Your prayers can and will reach God when
you send them through Jesus without carnality attached to them, and
to God’s glory attached to them. “Ye ask, and receive not,
because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your
lusts.” James 4:3 (KJV) His answer may not look like you expect,
but He is sure to answer, because God has promised and He is
faithful. “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son
of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do it?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19 (NKJ)
Be aware that some churches allow the congregation to come up to lay
hands and pray for others. This is not Biblical; be slow to lay on
of hands. “Do not lay hands on anyone hastily, nor share in other
people’s sins; keep yourself pure.” 1 Timothy 5:22 (NKJ)
Negative, demonic energy is passed this way. It is the Presbytery
(Ministers) who are to pray and lay hands during those times, not
the body of the church. (1 Timothy 4:14)
So it is not enough for you to pray for your brother or sister, they
have to confess their sins to you first, so your prayer will
continue in its intended effectiveness and so they may be healed.
“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that
ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man
availeth much.” James 5:16 (KJV)

to establish His Covenant in His
Children and in His Kingdom.
“And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He
who gives you power to get wealth,
that He may establish His covenant
which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”
DEUTERONOMY 8:18 (NKJ)
God
is a god that wants every
man, every woman, and every child to prosper and to live in
well-being. He wants every one of His children to live a life of
goodness and mercy. But the devil comes to disfigure what God has
made by lying to man. But God is still bringing to our notice, that
we can prosper. You can make it, no matter how the devil has bound
you and kept you in the pit of penury. You can get out of the mess
because God gives us the power to get out of the mess, to have
well-being, and to get wealth.
Prosperity means progressing, but wealth means you are now relaxed
and things are working out well for you. You have health, happiness,
family, church, community, security, shelter, food, and the
pleasures of life which do not satisfy the lusts of the eyes, the
lusts of the heart, or the lusts of the flesh. We have to help
others to receive their wealth, so that we may receive ours. “Let
no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.”
(KJV) “Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s
well-being.” (NKJ) 1 Corinthians 10:24
“As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and
given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in
his labor—this is the gift of God.” Ecclesiastes 5:19 (NKJ)
God wants to bring us into real wealth. The devil does not have
wealth, but has stupid, perishable, prosperity. “A good man
leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, but the wealth of
the sinner is stored up for the righteous.” Proverb 13:22 (NKJ)
God is faithful to all who call on His name. If you need wealth,
call on Him and you will get it.
Prayer: God make me wealthy in Christ.
Amen.

Be thankful for the miracles which God
allow us to experience each day!
“And God said to Solomon: “Because this was in your heart, and
you have not asked riches or wealth or honor or the life of your
enemies, not have you asked long life—but have asked wisdom and
knowledge for yourself, that you may judge My people over whom I
have made you king— wisdom and knowledge are granted to you; and I
will give you riches and wealth and honor, such as none of the kings
have had who have been before you, nor shall any after you
have the like.”
2 CHRONICLES 1:11-12 (NKJ)
Our
desire to be like Solomon.
The blessings people focus on are the material blessings of being
the wealthiest person alive—well, if not the wealthiest, to have
wealth, riches, power, glory, or all the above.
We often fail to focus on what will
truly give us the blessings we are seeking:
1) Righteous Relationship with God
and His family. Solomon had a “right” relationship with God
in that his heart was correct concerning his desires (what he was
asking for, praying for). Solomon had gone to Gibeon “with all the
congregation” to worship God with burnt offerings.
2) Righteous Heart towards God’s
people. Solomon’s heart was “right” with God, not only with
God but right towards helping God’s people. Solomon could have gone
to Gibeon alone, but he knew they would be blessed if they came.
When God asked him what he wanted he said, “Now give me wisdom
and knowledge…” 2 Chronicles 1:10 (NKJ) Solomon wanted from God
what would help an entire nation. God gave him his request, but much
more. Solomon’s heart was pure concerning his request, his prayer.
“Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well being.” 1
Corinthians 10:24 (NKJ)
We receive not because we ask amiss. “You ask and do not receive,
because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your
pleasures.” James 4:3 (NKJ) We ask from that which resides in
us: the lust of our eyes, the lust of our hearts, the lust of the
flesh, and the lust of life.
The larger blessing of wisdom and understanding are conduits
(pipelines) which allow the smaller blessings of silver, gold,
money, land, buildings, etc. to come. The blessings you want to pray
for and to give thanks for are things like these: sleep, health,
happiness, joy, peace, love, wisdom, knowledge, understanding,
remembrance, relationship, ability to pray, speech, job,
recognition, judging distance, standing, ability to dream, walking,
ability to plan, hearing, ability to imagine, hope, desire, ability
to give thanks, touch, ability to worship, manual dexterity, smell,
visual acuity, ability to care, family, community, nation, church,
balance, coordination, ability to think, sight, ability to receive
an understanding about a true relationship about God and His Holy
Family; there are many more blessings and miracles in which we live
and experience everyday. Be thankful for what God has done for you
today!
BE THANKFUL!

He gives to you at birth and which
you learn along life’s paths.
“So Elisha said to her, ‘What shall I do for you? Tell me, what
do you have in your house?’ And she said, ‘Your maidservant has
nothing in the house, but a jar of oil.’ Then he said, ‘Go borrow
vessels from everywhere, from your neighbors—empty vessels; do not
gather just a few.’”
2 KINGS 4:2-3 (NKJ)
The
importance of a Servant of God.
This Elisha was the servant of Elijah
the prophet. When God was about to take Elijah to heaven, Elisha
asked him to let a double portion of his spirit be upon him
(Elisha). And Elijah answered saying that he had asked him a hard
thing. Nevertheless, if he saw him when he was taken from him, it
would be so unto him. If not, it would not be so. (2 Kings
2:9-10) Elisha followed Elijah diligently and paid attention to
receive what he had requested.
After receiving this double portion of spirit, Elijah did many
miracles.
One time, a certain woman of the wives of sons of prophets cried
unto Elisha saying, “Your servant, my husband is dead; and you know
that your servant did fear the Lord: and the creditor has come to
take unto him my two sons to be slaves.” And Elisha said unto her,
“What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?”
And she said, “Your handmaid has not anything in the house, except a
pot of oil.” Then he said, “Go borrow you vessels outside of all
your neighbors, even empty, borrow not a few. And when you are come
in, you shall shut the door upon you and upon your sons, and shall
pour out into all those vessels, and you shall set aside that which
is full.” So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon
her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out. And it
came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her
son, bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, there is not a
vessel more. And the oil stopped flowing. Then she came and told the
man of God, and he said, “Go, sell the oil, and pay your debt and
live you and your children from the rest.” (2 Kings 4:1-7)
Elisha found something very important in his master’s life when he
asked Elijah to let a double portion of his spirit be upon him. The
same thing happened to this woman through Elisha. After the prayer
request of Elisha to his master (double portion of the spirit), his
prayer request got answered. He was able to perform a lot of
miracles. He performed many miracles in the different areas because
of the gift that he received from his master. This woman also
believed what Elisha told her and put it into practice, believing
surely it would come to pass. Please don’t be a hindrance or a
problem among the people, but try to be a solution to them. Let
those who need you, find you worthy to be a real servant of God.
Allow God’s double portion to flow through you today.

Never, never give up—God’s Word is
always with you;
His words out of your mouth, will
always bless you.
“Thy words were found and I did eat them;
and thy word was unto me the joy and
rejoicing of mine heart:
for I am called by thy name, O LORD
God of hosts.”
JEREMIAH 15:16 (KJV)
The
power of the word. Everything
that God will do in our lives, ministries, and church, is embodied
within His word. When Father God Almighty, who knows all things and
is all-powerful, decided to position the entire universe, He could
not do that outside of His Word. He said, “Let there be.” That was
His Word. When it came to mankind, He said, “Let us make man in our
own image.” That was His Word. When it came to human restoration, He
manifested His Word into flesh.
I want to let you know that the Word can still work in our time. For
heaven and earth will surly pass away, but the Word will never pass
away. The Word today can still manifest into a child for a barren
woman, like in the life of Sarah (Genesis 18:10-14). It can
make the cripple walk (John 5:7-9), or do whatever you may
desire it to do for you. He said, “I have come that you may have
life, not just any life, but a life the full of purpose and reality
(John 10:10). For nothing can be called life without a
purpose. For God did humble the children of Israel and allowed them
to suffer hunger. He then fed them with manna, which they knew not
neither did their fathers know: so that they may know that man do
not live by bread alone, but by every Word that comes out of the
mouth of God (Deuteronomy 8:3).
What are you going through today? What has been killing your life,
your vision, and subsequently wants to kill you, bring you down, and
keep you down? Have you given up and feel that nothing good can ever
happen about your life? Take a break and get a copy of the
eBlessings daily devotional booklet for it will give you an
understanding of how to get victory in the battle for life. Listen,
my dear reader, if Jesus can use the Word Himself and obtain victory
(Matthew 4), it can work for you also. Know that it was the
same Word that brought dead, stinking Lazarus to life (John
11:39-43), when doctors and herbalists could not provide
solutions, not to talk about his family. It was the Word that
restored Lazarus to life.
Have doctors and nurses given up? Do they say that nothing can
happen in your case? Have family deserted you? Do they say that
nothing good can ever come in your life? Is your name working
against you, like in the life of Jabez? I have come to let you know
that you have the opportunity to use the Word today and you will see
the difference in your life. Understand that the Word (Bible) is not
a science book, nor is it a management book, but a book of LIFE, to
give life to the dead and hope to the hopeless. It can work for you.
May the LORD open your spiritual eyes as you read this devotional to
understand the power of the Word.
LORD, Christ Jesus, thank You for another day

“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is

ISAIAH 26:3 (NKJ)
Afterthought.
Do you feel like you are an afterthought to your husband? Do you
think he does not spend enough time with you? Or does he not listen
to you? Do you feel like your wife doesn’t think about you like she
used to when you first got married, or even before you got married?
Do you feel like you are an afterthought to your children? Do they
consider everybody and everything else before they bring you into
the picture? I suppose we all at one time or another feel like an
afterthought. At work, when the company or boss makes a decision
that directly impacts you negatively, you must think that you are
just an afterthought in the big company picture.
I can imagine that God must think that He is just an afterthought in
most of our lives—not only the unsaved—but the saved as well. How
many times does God have to wait until we stump our toes on a rock
before we ask His help, when He offered to show you the rock in the
first place? But you refused to acknowledge it--denial. How often have we reached the end of our rope, only to
turn to look for God? God are You there? Jesus come help me! Every
time we get into trouble, God and His Son Jesus is standing there
with their hands on their hips, just shaking their heads thinking,
“Why didn’t they bring it to us in the first place?”
God wants such an intimate relationship with us that He sent His only begotten
Son to die on the cross for the sins of the world—that would include
your sin and mine. God and Christ Jesus do not want to be an
afterthought. They want to be a forethought. They want to be in the
midst of your thought process. “In all thy ways acknowledge Him
and He shall direct thy paths.” Proverb 3:16 (NKJ) Jesus wants you
to bring everything to Him. He wants you to bring everything by Him
and get His approval.
“Pray always,” this means that you have such an intimate
relationship with God and His Son Christ Jesus that you talk to them
all day long and at night; in the car, at work, at the gym, at
church, at home, in the bed, in the shower, in the prison, in the
hospital, in the homeless shelter, in the elderly retirement home;
whenever and wherever you find yourself, you should strike up a
conversation with Jesus about what is going on there.
We were not and are not an afterthought to God. God thinks about us
every second of every day and night; always. We are always on God's
mind. Jesus does not
consider us an afterthought. We are a forethought, thought, and an
afterthought; we are multidimensional creations of God Almighty. He
made each and every one of us special. We are not mistakes, but the
perfect thoughts of God. Our current life situations are not
mistakes, but the perfect plans of God. Work God’s plan for your
life by keeping Him in your thoughts; not in your afterthoughts!

There is no other name under heaven
given among men,
by which we must be saved.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and
the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things
were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was
made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men."
JOHN 1:1- 4 (KJV)
Who
is Jesus Christ? Jesus Christ
is God who was made in the flesh, and dwelt among us; (and we beheld
His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of
God's grace and truth. He was made flesh to redeem us. He was clothed
in a form of humanity. He left His glory in heaven. He humbled
Himself and accepted to come into this world to save us. Jesus knew
what was awaiting Him: persecutions and afflictions. But He came to
fulfill His Father's Will. Many people criticize Him, by saying that
He is a child of Joseph and Mary. They don't obey Him. They say that
He is a prophet like others. They even say that He is not a child of
God.
Jesus Christ was borne in the same way we did, but His difference is
that His mother Mary became pregnant through the power of the Holy
Spirit. He grew up like other children, but there was not a single sin
in his life. Let us follow the good example that Jesus set up.
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being
in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with
God, but made Himself of no reputation, and taking the form of a
servant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in
appearance as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient to
the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore, God
has also highly exalted Him and given Him a name which is above
every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of
those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the
earth,” Philippians 2:5-10 (NKJ)
When we pray in the name of Jesus, we get strength and healing takes
place. Our prayers get answered through this name of Jesus. We find
every thing we need, because the Bible made us to understand that
there is no other name by which we must be saved except the name of
Jesus Christ. In this name only, do we get remission of our sins. In
times of trouble and confusion, call this name by faith, He (Jesus)
will supernaturally intervene on your behalf. There is no thing,
absolutely nothing He cannot do; just believe and trust in Him with
all your heart, wait upon Him patiently. Our God is not a liar—He
never tells lies. He is a faithful God. What He has started in your
life, He will absolutely accomplish it. Amen!

“'You shall
love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and
with all your mind.'
This is the
first and great commandment.
And the second
is like it:
‘You shall
love your neighbor as yourself.’”
MATTHEW 22:37 (NKJ)
Eternal
living. How does one live
eternally while here on earth? “And behold, a certain lawyer
stood up and tested Him (Jesus), saying, “Teacher, what shall
I do to inherit eternal life?” Luke 10:25 (NKJ) I am not talking
about carnal or earthly living or living spiritually. I am talking
about eternal living while in these fleshly vessels as we prepare
for living eternally in Heaven with God and His Holy Family. “He
(Jesus) said to him, ‘What is written
in the law? What is your reading of it?’ So he
answered and said, “‘You shall love the LORD you God with all your
heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your
mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’” Luke 10:26-27 (NKJ) So,
how does one attain eternal living while here on earth?
1) Love the LORD God and His
Son Jesus with all your heart, mind, soul, and body by giving
Him your life, your service, your all.
2) Love yourself because you must love yourself for
number three to have the planned, expected, and divine effect.
Love yourself with “the love of the Lord.” “Greater
love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his
friends.” John 15:13 (NKJ) Keep yourself holy unto
the Lord.
3) Love your neighbors, as yourself. You must learn to
truly love yourself so you can love your family, friends,
church, and neighbors. Remember, hurting people, hurt people.
Hating people, hate people. Loving people, love people. Love is
caring, forgiving, patient, gentle, kind, sympathetic, pathetic,
compassionate, thoughtful, giving, and much, much more.
4) Learn to show mercy. Jesus told the lawyer the story
of the Good Samaritan. And Jesus asked him— “So
which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell
among the thieves? And he said, ‘He who showed mercy on
him.’ Then Jesus said to him, ‘Go and do
likewise.’” Luke 10:36-37 (NKJ) Learn to show mercy.
“Therefore be merciful, just as your
Father also is merciful.” Luke 6:36 (NKJ)
Learn to live eternally here on earth as you prepare to go to Heaven
by: loving God with all your being, loving yourself, loving fellow
human beings, and by showing mercy. Live eternally in Heaven by
practicing eternal living while here on earth. Do unto others as you
would have them do unto you.

Our basic needs as humans are food,
water, shelter, health.
These are just a few to name. Having
these met is insufficient until we come
into the PROMISED BLESSING of GOD.
“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of
the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I
command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above
all nations of the earth.”
DEUTERONOMY 28:1 (NKJ)
All
need the blessings of God:
You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. (Deuteronomy
28:3; also Deut. 28:4-6)
On the other hand, there is the curse of sin and disobedience: You
will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country. (Deut.
28:16) You will be cursed when you come in and cursed when you
go out. (Deut. 28:19)
What is all this about blessing and curses? You may ask. "I don't
know about that!" "Never heard about it." I am glad you asked. It is
right there, in the Bible, the Word of God. Honor the Word of God in
obedience and the promised blessings will overtake you. God is true
to His promises. He will be with you when it seems that you are
going through the storms of life. If sickness comes your way or
troubles and trials confront you, God promises to deliver. When
funds run low, He is right there with you and will provide all you
need. God promises never to leave nor forsake His own. To the child
of God who has dedicated his life to God, and is faithful to Him in
OBEDIENCE, delighting himself in God's Word and meditating on it,
whatever he does prospers. (See Psalms 1:1-3)
As people of God, we will sow and reap, we will plant and gather
from what has been planted, and at sometime, we will have something
good to share with someone else in need. Do you want to be blessed?
Do you need a blessing? Sure you do!
A curse comes upon the disobedient who
knows not God, and who disobeys God's Word. (Deut. 28:16-19)
When a man or woman is not blessed, that man or woman may work hard,
even own houses or lands, or much more, but will not prosper or be
successful. Why? Because he or she is cursed. We do not need this at
all. Do you? Everyone wants to be blessed, but everyone is not
willing to obey, so some of us must pay a heavy price. It does not
have to be you or anyone in your household.
If some of the things you are engaging in dear one, does not match
up with a blessed life; if you are miserable and unhappy, then only
you can do something about that. You must DECIDE today, that you are
not going that way anymore. Stop! Think and choose God's way. Go
before the Lord, and confess that you have sinned; then ask for
God's forgiveness and cleansing, then invite Jesus to be Saviour and
Lord of your life. See 1 John 1:9.
Start reading the Bible, God's Word
daily, and go to a Bible believing church. Contact a pastor if you
must, for good Biblical advice. God's blessings be upon you, as you
start your new life in Christ.

Don’t be grouchy; learn to control
your emotions for Christ’s sake,
for the sake of others, and for the
sake of your health.
“For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against
the flesh:
and these are contrary the one to the
other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.”
GALATIANS 5:17 (KJV)
Don’t
be grouchy. When the New
Shiloh Holiness Church celebrated its 10th church anniversary, glory
to GOD, I was blessed to attend the majority of the services held
throughout the week. The services were inspirational, spirit-filled,
life-changing, and transforming in nature. As many know, a church
anniversary can be physically draining! Thus, the next morning after
the last evening service I found myself grouchy. Despite having
attended those powerful services, I did not feel excited or
empowered. At least that’s what my body told me!
After coming to myself, I began to realize my flesh was mad at my
Spirit man! Evidently, the carnal part of me did not like the idea
of praising and serving GOD all week! It decided that it was “tired”
and I should have gotten rest instead of praising GOD! Upon this
revelation, I decided to activate the engrafted WORD! I began to
talk to my flesh: “You are not grouchy!” and “Thank you LORD for
another day regardless of my attitude.” My demeanor changed.
We have the power and authority to change our moods, behaviors, and
attitudes! When we find ourselves behaving in a manner contrary to
the flesh, we must immediately come to ourselves. The author of
Galatians informs us of the battle between the Spirit and the flesh.
This is an every day, every hour, every minute, every second, every
breath, every thought, and every blink battle! Remember the
despicable, hideous, evil nature of the enemy. Be prepared.

Family is one arm of God’s plan for
the redemption of mankind on the earth.
“So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God created he him;
male and female created he them.”
GENESIS 1:27 (KJV)
God’s
nuclear family. Consider
this. Imagine God as the father figure. He works hard creating
things, builds things for His family and the world at large. After
work and on His day off, He spends time with His family; His Wife
and Child. His time at work is for the benefit of the family and the
world.
God Almighty, El-Shaddai is the loving, tough father-image who can
be as equally mean as loving, as equally jealous as joyful. He is
tough and sometimes has a short fuse with strong wrath. Example, the
events in the wilderness experience of the Israelites. (Exodus) God
can be so tough that He sends plagues, earthquakes, quail enough to
come out of people’s noses, and He will even send evil spirits and
leprosy upon His chosen people.
God, Elohim, loves us so much though that He sent His only Begotten
Son, our Savior, our Brother, Jesus for the redemption of our sins.
So Jesus bears our sins. (Isaiah 53:6) Jesus is our Intercessor on
our behalf to the Father. So when the Father gets angry with us,
Jesus steps in. “Father, forgive them for they know not what they
do.” God says, “Okay.” When we fall, make mistakes, and angers
Yahweh, the Most High, Jesus goes to the Father and says, “Father, I
paid the price for that.” Jesus acts as our Big Brother and comes to
our rescue when we mess up. Remember that, Jesus steps in as our
Brother, our Big Brother. He is the Mediator to the Father on our
behalf to keep us on the straight and narrow way.
Imagine a nurturing Mother. A Mother who creates life in the womb.
One who teaches us as children how to live life, how to get up, how
to pray, how to be the best we can be. (John 14:26) One who
encourages us and lets us know that it will be alright when we fall,
when we forget, or when we fail. She is right there always to
comfort us and to defend us against any and all who might try to
hurt or harm Her loved one. This same Mother allowed Mary, a virgin,
to bear the Christ. The nurturing mother image of the Holy Spirit.
So, here it is; God’s Nuclear Family of which you and I are members.
Father God, the tough, loving, jealous, ever-working,
will-punish-you-in-a-minute father-image; the Holy Spirit, the
tender loving, comforting, teaching, nurturing, and creative force,
mother-image; and Jesus, our brother-image, loving, mediating,
interceding, bearing the weight of our negative words and actions,
and a stand-in-the-gap-kind-of-guy. And there we are. We stand up
for one another, love one another, teach one another, help one
another, and do what the Lord directs us and guides us to do for one
another. One big happy spiritual nuclear family.

The mark of the true church is to
help the poor, the fatherless, and widows.
“Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this,
To visit the fatherless and widows in
their affliction,
and to keep himself unspotted
from the world.”
JAMES 1:27(KJV)
Greetings
to you in the name of our
Lord Jesus Christ. I am delighted very much to share with you the
cause to save the poor children in India. Our vision and burden is
Gospel work and helping the poor. It is our heartfelt desire to save
the street, destitute, and neglected children. “He that despiseth
his neighbour sinneth; but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy
is he.” Proverb 14:21 (KJV)
I am very much glad to write you, to thank you very much in advance
for your kind e-mails, prayers, and encouragement towards our poor
ministry. As the Lord gives strength, I and my team brothers do His
work faithfully and sincerely. We conduct cottage prayers, street
Gospel meetings, street Evangelism, tract distribution, Gospel
Crusades, youth and children Bible class, and pray for the sick.
Since 1998, we have been doing His work among the poor. My father
worked 40 years among the poor. We are continuing in his work and
taking care of the poor children. In fact, in our hearts there is a
great burden to reach the unreached, help the needy, and neglected
communities. But our little resources are not able. But we are
praying and looking for His gracious help. “I will lift up mine
eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh
from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.” Psalms 121:1-2
(KJV)
Please kindly pray for us. We would like very much to work with you
“Together build up the kingdom of God.” We are very glad and rejoice
in that your kind desire and burden is to do something for our poor
people. The Word of God says the same. Thus we ought to show the
love and care, the following scriptures commission and admonish us
to love the poor and destitute. “Defend the poor and fatherless:
do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy:
rid them our of the hand of the wicked.” Psalm 82:3-4; “He
that giveth unto the poor shall not lack; but he that hideth his
eyes shall have many a curse.” Proverb 28:27; “He that hath pity
upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given
will he pay him again.” Proverb 19:17; “Only they would that
we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to
do.” Galatians 2:10 (KJV).
Finally, for your sake He became poor. “For ye know the grace of
our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes
he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” 2
Corinthians 8:9 (KJV). Our primary aim and target is to reach
the unreached with the Good News. If we agree together on this
planet, heavenly doors will be opened for us. May God grant great
reward in the heaven?
LORD GOD, Almighty,
please help us to understand that we are all
links in the change of Life and we must help one
another to keep the chain strong and use that
chain to wrap up Your enemies, our enemies, and
the enemies of all mankind. Thank You for that
understanding in the name of Christ Jesus. Amen.

Be strong in the power of God’s
mighty armor and the fruit of God’s unending Spirit.
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of
his might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that
ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
EPHESIANS 6:10-11 (KJV)
The
Armor of God.
(Ephesians 6:10-20) God has given to us His armor. It is
spiritual armor and it will protect us from the devil, Satan.
Our Christian life in this world is like a struggle or battle.
In order to be victorious in battle:
It is necessary is to first put
on your armor. “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour
of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day,
and having done all, to stand.” Ephesians 6:13 (KJV)
It is a necessary thing to
understand your enemy and know how strong he is. “For we
wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the
darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high
places.” Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)
Therefore having put on our armor
what do we need to know about our terrible enemy? First, he is
invisible; he is a spirit. Second, he is powerful. Third, he is
wicked and evil. There is no good, no mercy in Satan. His is one
desire and goal — to destroy the spiritual life of every
Christian. We can fight against Satan's power with God's
strength, because God's strength is far greater than that of
Satan.
By putting on God's armor, “…loins girt about with truth…
breastplate of righteousness… feet shod with the preparation of
the gospel of peace… shield of faith… the helmet of salvation…
and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God…” Paul
tells us here to be ready to stand against Satan when the day of
temptation, the day of persecution comes. It is a day when Satan
attracts us. Children of God, we must put on our entire armor
with prayer. “Praying always with all prayer and supplication
in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and
supplication for all saints;” Ephesians 6:18 (KJV) Our armor
on our own will be useless. So put on the armor of God, so that
you may overcome the enemy.

You are defined by the amount of time
you allow Christ to use you.
“You will know them by their fruits.
Do men gather grapes
from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
Even so, every
good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.”
MATTHEW 7:16-17 (NKJ)
THE
DEFINITION OF YOU. What
defines you? Who defines you? People often think or act like, what
someone thinks about you, or say about you define you. If you
believe Mammon, you would believe that your car, your home, your
job, or what you wear defines you. That could not be further than
the truth. Now, if you believe what people say about you, what
Mammon feeds you, or buy into what is believed by the unsaved, the
unbelievers, or the heathen, then you have allowed others’ words,
beliefs, or actions to define who you are. In essence, you have
empowered them. You now can become what they accuse you of, who they
say you are, or are supposed to become. Do not give people power
over you!
“Judge not, that you be not judged. For
with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the
same measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”
Matthew 7:1-2 (NKJ) What you do with your life and the words
which proceed from your heart through your mouth define who you are.
And you will have to give an account of your life’s action and of
your life’s words. “But I say to you that
for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in
the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by
your words you will be condemned.” Matthew 12:36-37 (NKJ)
You may be a veteran, but that doesn’t define your life because you
are a dentist. And being a dentist may not define your life, because
in your heart of hearts, you are a poet. You are a poet, but no one
else knows it. Your life’s actions show you truly where your heart
lies, who you truly are, who you are becoming, or where you are in
life. Your executing the example of Jesus Christ in your life
defines you and often those around you. Where you spend most of your
life’s energy (time), what proceeds out of your mouth, and the
actions you do daily, show where your heart lies.
You may go to church all the time, but
are you doing what Jesus Christ did? Helping people on the street,
in prison, visiting the elderly, praying for the sick; doing Kingdom
work outside of church walls. Jesus Christ is the measuring stick,
the Standard, by which all Creation is measured. He is our example
to follow. Heal the sick, pray for your enemies, love those who do
not love you, share with those in need, and visit the less
fortunate. That man doesn't define you, that woman doesn't define
you, and that child doesn't define you. You define you; Christ in you defines you. CHRIST DEFINES YOU

MATTHEW 6:25-26 (KJV)
If
you are a Christian, remember
not worry about anything, because no worry is too big for God. God
will make freedom out of worry. Nothing is too big for God to
handle. So why worry? Worry damages and destroys the temple of God,
which is our body. “I am an ordinary man; not good for nothing.”
These thoughts really made me worry and put my health down. I
suffered terribly when I was worrying. I suffered because I sinned.
Worry is a sin. Anything which damages the body is sinful. Worry is
a cyst because it damages our relationship with God, with ourselves,
and with others. God's Word says to rejoice always and not to be
anxious for anything. “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will
say, rejoice!” Philippians 4:4 (NKJ) But... with supplication in
prayer. “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and
supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to
God;” Philippians 4:6 (NKJ)
If we worry, we cannot concentrate to do anything good. We cannot
pray effectively, worship effectively, or live according to God’s
Will for our lives. When we pray, our mind must be set on Christ.
And when Christ is in our mind, in our heart, He assures us of His
perfect peace. “Therefore do not worry
about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things.
Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” Matthew 6:34
(NKJ)
Worry damages our relationship with our brothers, sisters, friends,
and family. When a man, woman, or child has worry, they cannot love
his brother with the love of the Lord, nor can a man love his spouse
as husbands are commanded to give love to their spouses. Worry also
damages personal witness. Worry undermines our Christian witness,
where God has called us to be witnesses for Him where we stand;
where we live, where we work, as well as where we play. Let us not
be worried for anything, but go to the Lord with all supplication
and prayer. “Therefore do not worry,
saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What
shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For
your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek
first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things
shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:31-33 (NKJ) May God
meet with all of our needs in Christ. Amen! (Matthew 6:25-34)
Thank You Lord Jesus
Christ, Immanuel for Your glorious day which You
have made for us. Thank You for giving us life
and hope. Thank You for allowing us to know that
we should not worry because You know what we
need and You are allowing us to receive that
which is for us. Thank You and may all Creation
bless You, love You, and praise You. Selah!
Amen.

Time is essential for us to cross
this expanse called life.
“…and a wise man’s heart discerns both time and judgment,
because for every matter there is a
time and judgment…”
ECCLESIASTES 8:5b, 6a (NKJ)
Time
is our ally, not our enemy.
God has control of time. In fact, time is in God’s Holy family. Time
will do whatever God commands, wills, or has set in His laws for
time to do. Time is commanded to perform for our benefit.
With this is mind, know you can allow the enemies of God to
prostitute your time: your time with God, your time with family,
your time with church, and your time with friends. How can this be?
When you find that you are running out of time—this is a marker.
When you have an expansion of time—that is another marker. Note what
you are doing, what you are thinking, your direction(s), and what is
going on in your life when you recognize Time’s marker. You then can
judge how to adjust your behavior or thinking.
When you spend more time at church than with your family—check
yourself. As a spiritual warrior, you must take your weapons from
church and run the enemy out of your home, especially if the enemy
is running you out of the house. When you spend more time with
friends than family—check yourself. Are these people truly your
friends? Do they really love you? Will they be there in your times
of trouble and can you go back “home” with them if there is a
personal crisis in your life? When you do not make time for what you
know is important to your life, for your life, and you don’t spend
time in the place(s) which you know are beneficial to your
life—check yourself. Often you may have had a positive experience,
letting you know it was of God, but you stay away, do not call, nor
come by. But you will go to, call, and spend inordinate amounts of
time in places, with people, or things which are to your detriment.
You either are in bondage or are on the path to bondage.
You may know someone who has this issue—and it may be you. Pray to
God, through His Son Jesus for time and judgment to be given to you;
time for you to make a change and judgment of how to make the right
decisions, the right choices. Make a commitment to serving God and
keep it. Then make better choices which serve your spirit, not the
lusts of your heart, lusts of your eyes, or the lusts of your flesh.
Time is on your side. “But as for me, my prayer is to You,
O LORD, in the acceptable time; O God, in the multitude of
Your mercy, hear me in the truth of Your salvation.” Psalm 69:13

Effective prayers are directed to the
Glory of God.
“And when you pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites. For they
love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the
streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they
have their reward. But you, when you pray, enter into your room, and
when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in
the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you
openly.”
MATTHEW 6:5-6 (NKJ)
The
effective prayers in God’s sight.
Many people here on the earth want to
make it to heaven although it is difficult for some people to follow
the Word of God. Jesus Christ, Himself is the example that we should
follow, because He is the only One who lived the Holy Life without a
sin. He was a man full prayers. His prayers were the channels
through which Jesus had the dominion between Him and our Father
(God).
The most important thing we have to understand here is that Jesus
didn’t seek His own glory. Whatever He did, He did it to glorify the
name of God. Remember how He taught His followers, He said to them,
when you pray, pray in this manner: “In this manner, therefore,
pray: Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your
kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we
forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver
us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the
glory forever. Amen. Matthew 6:9-13 (NKJ)
By this time, when the disciples asked Jesus to teach them how they
should conduct their prayers, Jesus showed them that God is Supreme
(Most High) and He also showed them that this name is above all
other names. Henceforth, the people should first of all lift the
name of God on high. When you go before God, know that you are under
His mighty hand and His will as well. If you want to go before God,
you are supposed to ask yourself these following questions:
Is there anything which can be a
hindrance to my prayers?
How is my relationship between
God and me?
Is my heart correct in His
sight?
If you realize that you are guilty,
confess your wrong acts. Repent of your wrong acts and thoughts; and
ask forgiveness. God will then accept your petition and prayers. If
you have a problem with your neighbor, make an adjustment. Try to
sort out your conflicts; thereafter your prayers will be heard.

Recover effectively in whatever
troubles, conflicts, challenges life may bring you with Christ by
your side.
“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying,
I am the light
of the world;
he that
followeth me shall not walk in darkness,
but shall have
the light of life.”
JOHN 8:12 (NKJ)
Ways
to Effective Recovery. (EPHESIANS
6:11–14) There are three
major ways or types of standing in the scriptures that will help us
to effectively recover. These ways can also break the control of the
powers of darkness over people, groups, cities, and nations.
“Wherefore take onto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able
to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”
Ephesians 6:13 (KJV)
The first effective spiritual method of recovery is “the
ability to stand.” We must desire more of His Word, for the
entrance of His word gives light and understanding to the simple. We
must build up ourselves on our most Holy faith, learning to pray in
the Holy Ghost.
The second effective method of recovery is “the ability to
withstand.” That’s how we can break the power of darkness.
The wiles and the subtle nature of the devil have not changed over
the years. His demonic network and principles of darkness will bow
at anytime to the power of Light if we could withstand him with the
Light of the Gospel. Jesus said, “As long
as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” John 9:5
(KJV)
Because you have the ability to stand therefore, the third effective
method of recovery is “the ability to mature and grow in the
truth.” Speaking, doing, defending, and contending for the
truth is therefore standing. We must sustain an act of righteousness
in our daily living by:
1) Standing on God’s Word.
2) Withstanding the powers of darkness, and
3) Maturing and growing in the Truth

Christ Jesus never fails, can not
lie, will not let you down,
and will always lift you up in His
Everlasting Arms.
“All we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned every one to his own
way;
and the LORD hath laid on him
(JESUS) the iniquity of us all.”
ISAIAH 53:6 (KJV)
The
Holy Spirit shared this with
me. What we often see as the spiritual battle is only the attack or
the weapons of an attack; only an arrow. I am talking about when
temptation comes and we fail, we make a mistake, and we sin, that is
not the battle. It is only an element of an attack, an arrow if you
will. We often have a failure and dwell on that failure. We often
personalize that failure and make that failure who we are by
internalizing that failure. It is not about you failing. I fail. You
fail. We all fail. God sent Jesus because He knew that we will
always fail; at one time or another or at one thing or another.
“…and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags…” Isaiah
64:6 We will fail because we are not perfect. So God sent Jesus
who never fails. Jesus did not fail, will not, can not fail, and
will never, never let you or I down. If He does let us down, it will
be into the Everlasting Arms of God Almighty.
The true spiritual battle comes after we sin. The battle is to see
if the enemies of God can make us feel defeated (feel sinful),
walk in our defeat (walk in our sin), and think like we are
failures, sinful, defeated, useless, defenseless, worthless, or
powerless (think sinfully), when we are actually powerful,
mighty, sons and daughters, princes and princesses of the One and
Only Most High God, Yahweh! What many of us consider a spiritual
battle is not a battle at all, it is temptation, an attack, or the
preemptive strike. The spiritual battle comes after we fail. The
real battle is how one responds to defeat, to failure, or to making
a mistake.
The true spiritual battle comes after the "sin failure." This is
where many people make their fatal, life-changing mistakes. They lie
in their failures and rehearse their failures, and relive their
mistakes weekly, daily, or by the hour. What many people fail to
realize is that we truly have no sin, because Jesus became sin so we
could be without sin. (Isaiah 53:6; Romans 5:17; John 1:29;
Hebrew 9:26) So when the enemy gets us to sin, we must COUNT IT
ALL JOY because Jesus has paid the price. So when we fail, when we
sin, (and of course we must not fall into a lifestyle of sin or
condone sin of any type), but we must count it all joy, because God
knew that we were going to sin even before the tempter came to us.
Our way out of sin is Christ Jesus.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is
eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23 (KJV)
Will you choose eternal death for your sin? Or will you choose
eternal life for your sin? Choose today. “For the law of the
Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin
and death.” Romans 8:2 (KJV)

to see the miracles in your life and
that life itself is quite the miracle.
“And without faith it is impossible to please God,
because anyone who comes to him must
believe that he exists
and that he rewards those who
earnestly seek him.”
HEBREWS 11:6 (NIV)
Therefore,
Faith is the assurance and
certainty that invisible things are true and that future things will
come true. In order to receive God's promises and God's power, there
is one thing necessary above all. It is Faith.
When we look at the earth and the heavens we cannot understand
everything about them. Our eyes cannot tell who made the earth and
sun and stars. But by faith, we can tell. “Through faith we
understand that the worlds were formed by the word of God, so that
things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”
Hebrews 11:3 (KJV) By faith, we know that everything visible was
made by an invisible God. “Let us hold fast the profession of
our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that
promised;) Hebrews 10:23 (KJV)
In order to have true faith, we must first believe that God exists.
We must also have faith in His word, in His promises. In Jeremiah
29:13, God said, “‘You will seek me and find me when you seek
me with all your heart.’” By faith, God fulfills His promises.
“Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful
God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those
who love him and keep his commands.” Deuteronomy 7:9 (NIV) In
anything you need from God, you must have faith. “…I
tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed,
you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will
move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20
(NIV)
Child of God you must keep your Faith. “I have fought the good
fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy
4:7 (NIV) That was not easy for Paul, but he kept the faith. In
life, it is not easy, but you must keep your faith. “Reflect on
what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this.”
2 Timothy 2:7 (NIV)

When someone is looking for
deliverance, redemption, salvation,
and healing turn them to God and
Jesus; not to man.
“But go ye and learn what that
meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice:
for I am not
come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
MATTHEW 9:13 (KJV)
I
know people who come to me or
come across my path who want assistance with their recovery, their
bondage, or want to get off that road to bondage which they realize
they are on and cannot get off of. More often than not, we RESIST
getting off of that road ourselves. We may not realize it, but we
are working in the “HABIT” mode. We are working our habits. We reach
out for help, but we often will not go the extra mile, do the work,
extra work, be as involved getting out of our bondage as we were
getting into our bondage (addiction, life crisis, challenge) and
staying in our condition. We have to work our RECOVERY, work our way
out of that troubling bag.
Invariably, people will ask me or you to pray for them, hoping that
something miraculous will happen… and sometimes it does happen. (I
will go as far as to say every time something miraculous happens,
but non-belief, poor faith, bad habits, incorrect thoughts stop the
miracle from continuing. “Again I say unto
you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing
that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is
in heaven.” Matthew 18:19 (KJV) Key words in this
scripture is “ON EARTH” (ON DIRT).)
But more often than not, we have to
apply the spiritual principle of WORK to get out of our depression,
our issue, our bondage, our addiction, our continued dis-behavior or
misbehavior; the action or thoughts we want to stop, want stopped,
and cannot stop. People will ask you to pray for them, will turn to
you for help, expecting God to intervene when they are not going to
God for their help and deliverance, but are coming to you… coming to
you as though you are God. We are not God, but His children. People
have got to learn not to look to the Pastor, the Bishop, or the
Priest for their salvation, redemption, deliverance, or healing.
Only God, His Son Jesus, or the Holy Spirit can do that, not even
Arch-Angels, Angels, Fruit of the Spirit, or any other member of
God’s Holy Family.
So when the brother, sister, mother, father, auntie, or uncle come
to you for their deliverance, redemption, salvation, or healing take
them to a good Bible-believing church and a church with a
group-oriented support group which will not only bring them to the
altar for their salvation, but will lead them into their deliverance
and show them how to live a happy, healed, redeemed, and productive
life in society and more importantly at home. Have peace.

The most effective and real prayer is
the prayer for others.
“But when you pray, use not vain repetition
as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard
for their much speaking. Be not therefore like them: for your Father
knoweth what things you have needed of, before you ask him.”
MATTHEW 6:7-8 (KJV)
The
real prayers in God’s sight.
Jesus told his disciples not to do good things in order to be seen
by the people, because they that do such things, they will not get
rewards in heaven because they have already got theirs. (Matthew
6:1-4)
“Then He said to them in His
teaching, ‘Beware of the scribes, who desire
to go around in long robes, love greetings in the
marketplaces, the best seats in the synagogues, and the best places
at feasts, who devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long
prayers. These will receive greater condemnation.'” Mark
12:38-40 (NKJ) The real and effective prayers should contain
humility and meekness; they should obey God and show fear of Him.
“Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves
that they were righteous, and despised others: ‘Two
men went up into the temple to pray; one a Pharisee, and the other a
tax collector. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself,
‘God, I thank You, that I am not like other men—extortioners,
unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a
week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’ And the tax collector,
standing afar off, would so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but
beat his breast, saying, ‘God be merciful to me a sinner!’ I tell
you, this man went down to his house justified rather than
other; for every one that exalts himself will be abased, and he who
humbles himself shall be exhalted.’” Luke 18:9-14 (NKJ)
When you are going to pray, make sure that your relationship with
your creator (God) is spotless; otherwise your prayers will not be
answered. Make sure your relationships with others are at peace. God
answers prayers.
