Rejection, betrayal, and shame
brings the feeling of unwantedness, which affects all relationships.
God loves us with an everlasting love.
“Jonathan, Saul's son, had a son
who was a cripple in his feet. He was five years old when the news
came out of Jezreel (of the death) of Saul and Jonathan; and the
boy's nurse took him up and fled; and in her haste, he fell and
became lame. His name is Mephibosheth.”
2 SAMUEL 4:4
(Amplified Bible)
Spiritual consciousness.
Mephibosheth means a shameful thing. This boy was not born lame. The
lameness was as a result of being dropped and the fall broke his
legs. Similarly, there are people who were not born with certain
physical, spiritual, or emotional deformities. The state of one's
heart is manifested in the face; you can't hide it. (Proverbs
18:14) As this boy was dropped, you might have been dropped,
i.e., rejected, betrayed, or humiliated by your parents, spouse, a
close friend, or fiancée. You may have lost someone you loved
suddenly, a well paying job, or a business which collapsed. You may
have suffered rape or you were molested. This left you wounded in
your spirit. Your parents might have called you names which killed
your spirit. Now you are in a state where you refuse to love others,
you refuse to love yourself, and refuse to give love to others.
This is dangerous; it affects your spirit, soul, and body. This may
have you feeling lonely, miserable, self-pitying, depressed,
desperate, and perhaps hopeless. I have good news for you. There is
a remedy, Isaiah 53:3. Jesus, the suffering Messiah was
despised, rejected, and forsaken by men; a man of sorrows and pains,
acquainted with grief and sickness.
Accept your situation now and know that Jesus forgives all sins.
Decide now to get rid of whatever rejection has done or brought into
your life e.g., hatred, rebellion, resentment, or bitterness.
Understand and accept that God has accepted you. He loves you. Begin
accepting yourself. When men drop you, God is there to pick you up
from your deep sense of unworthiness, anxiety, fears, depression,
and despair. Men’s introduction suffers human reduction, but God's
introduction will not suffer human reduction. God says, “I love you
with an everlasting love.”

guerre. Car je suis l’Eternel, ton Dieu, Qui fortifie ta droite, Qui
te dis: Ne crains rien, Je viens à ton secours.”
moi!
chaque jour suffit sa peine. (Matthieu 6:34)

Do not fear, because those which are with us
are in greater number than those which are with them.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not
be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. All who rage against
you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will
be as nothing and perish.”
ISAIAH 41:10-12 (NIV)
The
world in which we live is undoubtedly the last times.
Times according to the Word of God which will be those of terror.
Times where many will be under the influence satan who will turn on
those with anxious glances who are seeking help. It is in this
direction that many will raise multiple questions for the following:
clothing, food, life, shelter, etc. Others will seek help from the
juju man, the charlatans, the magicians, the rosicrucians, and the
freemasons who practice superstition to safeguard their lives and to
solve their problems.
However, their lives do not reside in the practice of these things
because the creator of the universe is He who holds us by His
victorious right hand. It is useless to fear the juju man, the
wizards, the magicians and all who say they have the capacity to
throw a bad fate on you. Thus the Eternal speaks now, who created
you! “Fear not, for I have redeemed you. I have summoned you by
name; you are mine!” (Isaiah 43:1b) Do not fear anything,
because I am with you. “I will bring back your children from the
East. And I will gather you from the West. (Isaiah 43:5) For
the questions of the life: nourishment, clothing, circumstance, and
living conditions, the Bible declares: “Be careful for nothing;
but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let
your requests be made unto God.” Philippians 4:6 “Take therefore no
thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the
things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”
Matthew 6:34
But when they arrest you, worry neither in the way in which you will
speak nor about what you will say: what you will say will be given
to you. (Matthew 10:19) Then the girls will be delighted with
the dance, the young men and the old men will be delighted too; I
will change their mourning into joy, and I will comfort them; I will
give them joy after their sorrow.

Better а few problems to which you have a
solution
than having just one problem with no solution at all.
“Then Job answered the LORD. I know, LORD, that you are
all-powerful; that you can do everything you want. You ask how I
dare question your wisdom when I am so very ignorant. I talked about
things I did not understand, about marvels too great for me to know.
You told me to listen while you spoke and to try to answer your
questions. In the past I knew only what others had told me, but now
I have seen you with my own eyes. So I am ashamed of all I have said
and repent in dust and ashes.”
JOB 42:1-6 (Good News Bible)
Have
you ever asked these questions: “God, why me? Why is this
happening to me? I am not supposed to suffer such things?” When we
become Christians, it’s as if we get the idea that we must not have
any problems whatsoever anymore. We think: “The good Christian is
the one that has the least amount of problems.” This is a deception
that can discourage us a lot in our walking with God.
Neither the lack of problems nor the presence of problems defines
our connection with the Lord, but rather the decisions that He is
giving us. The Lord wants us to know Him in the situations that
unfold before us. When problems overflowed Job’s life, he was
sincerely confused, because he thought that since he was doing
everything in the right way, nothing could happen to him. His
friends had a similar thought pattern, because they explained the
situation with Job’s failures. Elihu was the only one that managed
to lift the eyes of the whole group from where they were and set
them on who God was and who God could be in them.
We must not look to ourselves or to the circumstances for the
answer, but to God. Let Him be the One, who will focuses the
attention on us if it is needed. Does it make any difference how
many closed doors you will meet along your way, if you have the key
to unlock and open each of them?

Mortals are without love; Only those who believe in God can
love.
“But I say unto you, Love your enemies,
bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and
pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;”
MATTHEW 5:44 (KJV)
Somebody may ask,
“Why do you say I have no love?” I love my parents, I love my
wife and children. I love my friends. Actually, that is not true
love. True love is not from the flesh. It is only from the
spirit. I have seen many persons stealing, cheating, or killing
others for their family interests. I have seen many nations
invading the powerless in the cloak of national interests. They
also claimed to love their fellows.
Mortals’ love is selfish. It is not true love. True love means
sacrifice. God loved us so, that He sacrificed His own Son -
Jesus Christ. God is good to all. He never looks after somebody
by oppressing another. Mortals are all selfish. Their eyes are
always upon the flesh, the power, or the wealth. Only those who
belong to the Holy Spirit could love all people because love is
from God. Jesus once said that you must love each other. It
means tolerance, sacrifice, and kindness.
Why can't you answer insult with insult? Why must you love your
enemies and pray for them? Because we are all sinners and we
have no authority to judge them. Can you say you are wholly good
and they are wholly evil? We are blessed because we recognize
Jesus Christ. If we follow Him, we will enter the Kingdom of
Heaven. Sinners are pitiful for they are still controlled by the
devil. They are fettered and not free. When you pray for your
enemies, you can feel peace and joy in your heart. When you
don't forgive them, you feel upset. This is not the expectation
of God.
Let the Holy Spirit lead us and keep us. Let us live in faith,
love, and hope. My God, thank You giving us new life.

True Happiness Rests in a Positive,
Productive Relationship with God.
“If we know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.”
JOHN 13:17 (KJV)
The
Path to Happiness. People in general are looking for
happiness. They have portions of happiness in having a good job,
having extra funds for leisure activities, and having the many
material things with which we are blessed. But by themselves these
things do not bring true, lasting happiness.
The word happiness has a variety of meanings--from being lucky or
fortunate, to being glad, to being joyful, and at peace with God.
This true happiness is ours only through God’s Son, Jesus Christ.
While being fortunate or glad may last for only a brief time, true
Christian happiness is life-long.
Jesus taught that those who enjoy wealth but have no faith in God
will suffer eternal torment. (Luke 16:19-31) But those who
serve others in the name of Christ will enter into eternal life.
(Matthew 25:31-46)
Christ Himself did not make comfort or luxury His life’s goal.
Instead, He trod the path to the cross, there to lay down His life
as the offering for our sins, therefore opening the doors of
paradise to us.
“If ye be
reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit
of glory and of God resteth upon you:…” 1 Peter 4:14
“He that despiseth his neighbor sinneth: but he that hath
mercy on the poor, happy is he.” Proverb 14:21
“Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope
is in the LORD his God:” Psalm 146:5
“He that
handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in
the LORD, happy is he.” Proverb 16:20
Happy are all who trust
in Him!

God heals
our wounded hearts, heals our broken spirits,
and breathes new life that we might live again.
“But He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our
iniquities: the chastisement for our peace was upon Him and by His
stripes we were healed.”
ISAIAH 53:5 (NKJV)
Recently in our Sunday morning worship service an extraordinary thing
happened to me. The music was playing and many were dancing and
rejoicing. I noticed that there was something on the floor. I asked
my son to please get it and bring it to me. When he came back he
handed me a tiny purple heart. It looked as though it had been
through some rough places. It was bent and there were a few holes in
it. As I stood and held it a spirit of intercession hit me. And
throughout the entire praise and worship service I prayed. I began
to think of what the Purple Heart represents.
Generally in our
country’s armed services people are given Purple Hearts when they
have either been injured badly or lost their lives in battle. Most
often they have been harmed in the attempt to save others that
others might live. As I thought on this, I began to see the wounded
of the church, those who have been injured emotionally or
spiritually. I could see them broken, torn apart, and bleeding. They
had been in God’s Army and in battle. They had been injured and yet
never recovered. So I lifted this tiny little purple heart to the
Lord and prayed for the healing of the church body. I prayed for
those who had been in spiritual war to be whole again. In the
background the song “Trading My Sorrows” began. There is in this
song a place where it says, “I have been persecuted not abandoned,
been struck down but not destroyed. And the joy of the Lord is my
strength.”
My intercessions intensified and I felt led of the Lord
to take this purple heart and lay it upon the alter. The song speaks
of laying down your sorrows, of laying down your shame, of laying
down your sickness. I returned to my seat and continued in prayer
that all those with wounded hearts would come and lay their purple
hearts down, that those who had callings on their lives would return
again, that they would rise up and be healed of the Lord, that those
who have had their Spirit’s crushed and emotions damaged would find
strength in the Lord and that they could find joy, healing, and
restoration. I prayed that they would no longer sit in fear and
bitterness, but that they would walk in the truth of the Spirit of
God.
It is customary for us to hang yellow ribbons in hope that our
soldiers will return home safely. If God has yellow ribbons, many
yellow ribbons have been hung for the return of His children. I
expect that He has put away many yellow ribbons now because there
have been many to safely return home.

Do not be driven by evil,
but be led by the LORD JESUS CHRIST!
“THE LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.”
PSALM 23:1 (KJV)
When God Leads. Dear
beloved friends, it is very important to know that the best choice
we can make in life is Jesus Christ, the only Lord and Savior of ALL
Men. This is very crucial because it affects our entire lives,
family, business, and generations to come when we make the proper
choices. Until we humble ourselves and completely surrender our
entire lives, emotions, minds, finances, families, and careers to
HIM and only Him, we will never experience His true glory and love.
He will take the leadership and controlling interest over everything
that we are and everything that we touch, if we make the choice to
give ourselves completely to Him and His service. He is the Good
Shepherd, the One who cares for His beloved brothers and sisters in
God. (John 10:11) God will lead us towards our destiny and eternal
life. God will lead us to our next promotion, to the person that He
has predestined to be the right mate for our lives according to His
plans for our lives, to the Eden of finances (Divine Provision), and
to the best opportunities that he has for us.
However, the devil is a robber, a destroyer, and a killer.
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and
to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and
that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
The enemy will drive people by force to eternal damnation and cause
them to become ensnared, becoming oppressed by the spirit of
failure. I speak to the people today and implore them to arise today
and make Jesus the King, Lord, and Savior of your lives! He loves
you and cares for you, ready to lead you to a peaceful paradise on
earth, the Kingdom of Glory Everlasting. Come to Him just as you are
and He will give you rest. The best way not be driven by evil is to
be lead by Jesus Christ of Nazareth! God Bless You!

You are dead to sin when
you give your life to Jesus Christ.
“Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him that
the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not
serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin.”
ROMANS 6:6-7 (KJV)
Many
a believer do not realize that their citizenship here on earth
changed as soon as they gave their lives to Christ. According to the
above scripture, to God you are a dead man to sin and the world
controlled by satan. The link between you and the world of sin and
the world of iniquities has been severed. “For ye are dead, and your
life is hid with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:3
In the spiritual realm, and before the Throne of God, this is your
state when you are born again. There is transition from the kingdom
of sin to the Kingdom of Righteousness. Spiritual death has occurred
and that is why the scripture says that he that is dead is freed
from sin. Friend, you are dead to sin and your life is now hid with
Christ in God.
When you were not born again, you were spiritually dead to the world
of righteousness. But now, in Christ Jesus, you are also spiritually
dead to the world of sins controlled by satan and his angels.
Physically, you are still in the world, but spiritually you are dead
to the world and the kingdom controlled by sin and the devil. “For
this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put
on immortality.”
1 Corinthians 15:53-55 Sin, sicknesses, diseases, demons, and the
devil have no power over you again. Instead, you have power and
authority over them. (Luke 10:19)
Friend, you are freed from sin and its woes. That is why you can say
with Apostle Paul that you bear the marks of the Lord. Let nothing
trouble you. Say it loud and clearly, “Sin has no power over my
spirit, soul, or body.”

If there is love with us, there is
forgiveness. Revenge is for God, not we humans.
“Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye
for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye
resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on the right cheek,
turn to him the other also.”
MATTHEW 5:38-39
(KJV)
Children
of God, the Words of God are like light we use in our
daily activities. We are made from soil and our flesh will go back
to soil and our spirits will go either to heaven or hell.
“Ye have heard that it was said of them of
old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in
danger of the judgment: But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry
with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment:
and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of
the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger
of hell fire.” Matthew 5:21-22
God is the root of our lives and we must obey and worship Him. Any
problem we have with our brothers or sisters must be settled in
God-like ways. Who are we to take revenge or destroy?
“Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the
altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against
thee; leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first
be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.”
Matthew 5:23-24
We must have love enough to forgive. It is like God to forgive us
and as we attempt to be like God through His Son Christ Jesus, we
must learn to forgive one another and ourselves; God has. We must
learn to love our enemies and forgive them for what they have done
to us and our families.
“Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the
sight of all men.” Romans 12:17 We must develop a
disposition for forgiving and being merciful. Let’s not play
God in seeking revenge for the evil which has been done to us.
Forgive and let’s make a place for God to show us the action to take
that is most like Him.

When people keep on sinning, it shows
where
they belong.
“And if children, then heirs, heirs of God, and joint heirs with
Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also
glorified together.”
ROMANS 8:17 (KJV)
AFFIRMATION-1. I therefore declare and decree that from this day till
Christ comes in rapture that:
1. Because I am complete in Christ the head of all principality &
power, as an ambassador of Christ on earth, as long as I live, I’m
head over all principality and powers in this world.
2. Since I have (received) the same circumcision -- spiritual birth
not made of hands with Christ, sin is annihilated from my flesh
because Jesus Christ was circumcised -- crucified for me.
3. Therefore, being buried with Him in baptism, I am also risen with
Christ through the faith of the operation of God. I continue all my
days to be raised above every power of circumstances in life, and
never to come down. As Jesus kept rising from glory to glory waxing
strong, so must I rise above until He comes again.
4. I have been quickened from dead works together with Christ, and
all my trespasses are forgiven.
5. Every handwriting of ordinances (condemnation, false judgments,
accusation, oppressions, manipulation, weapons formed, evil human
imaginations) are forever erased which was against me and is forever
taken out of my way and nailed to the cross by Christ.
6. As long as I live, with the Holy Ghost in control, all
principality and powers must be spoiled and destroyed. Publicly and
openly, the devil must be disgraced, for I must in Christ triumph
over them in victory. As Jesus Christ my master was manifested to
destroy the works of the devil, so am I manifested to do till He
returns. (1 John 3:8)

Wanted: Men with a Divine character!
“And I will pray the Father, and he shall
give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth
with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I
will come to you.”
JOHN 14:16-18 (KJV)
Recently,
the Lord spoke to me about the way He would have we men
be as husbands, fathers, and heads of our families. He showed me His
role to us. He is our Father, our Husband, and our Head, and the
Holy Spirit has been sent to us to do several things which, if every
earthly husband and father starts doing, I believe we will have
better families.
He is mainly 3 things to us:
1. An Intercessor,
2. A Comforter,
and
3. An Advocate.
When you combine them all, you get the idea of: intercession,
comfort, exhortation, correction, and protection.
So, our main role as husbands and fathers is:
1. To intercede
for the family, which would include: intercession, prayer,
laying on of hands, prophesying, deliverance, spiritual warfare
on the behalf of the family, praise and worship, and faith.
2. To comfort.
That is done with: words, actions like hugs, kisses, etc.,
communication, and just being there for the others.
3. To exhort.
That means encourage each one in his/her gifts, talents, and
graces, and showing true, UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.
4. To Correct.
Again, with Love!
5. To Protect. The advocate protects the rights of man, so
here comes the ministry of the Teacher. This is possible
through: personal teaching, general spiritual assembly (meeting)
of the family; Church, Christian educational materials, etc.
So, having these as basic
foundations, the Lord will lead us and give us specific ideas and
actions that we must take every day, in order that we establish some
foundational spiritual Christian concepts, principles, and habits,
which would enable us to have strong families.

God has made us
different; this is good, unique, incredible, and a great blessing.
Differences must not be obstacles, but opportunities for helping
each other.
“She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her
household, and a portion to her maidens. She perceiveth that her
merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. She is not
afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are
clothed with scarlet (Bulgarian Bible says, clothed with double
clothes). She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth
not the bread of idleness.”
PROVERBS 31:15,18,21,27 (KJV)
As
Christian women, we must be wise and prudent. The Lord has
created women with a unique sensitivity, creativity and wisdom, so
they can foresee things afar off, and provide for their families.
The woman in Proverbs 31 saw the happenings of the future, and was
wise enough, to prepare by taking proper measures. She didn’t wait
for the difficult time to come. She didn’t fear the snow, because
all her folks had double clothes. Being clothed with one set of
clothes is good, but she had prepared more than what was enough.
This is speaking not only about our outer man, but our inner man as
well – our spirit. Our spirit must also be “clothed well.” Even when
the family is going through difficult moments and hard places, she
has food and clothing to give to her household. Spiritually
speaking, the Word of God is the food and It is the clothing we all
need. Otherwise, we will be hungry and will freeze – spiritually and
naturally. If our spirits and bodies are clothed and fed, being
strong in the Lord, all circumstances will change for our benefit.
The spiritual woman is
not lazy, and she is not waiting passively for the days of spiritual
and natural prosperity and well being to come. Because even in
difficult times, and dark periods, she has made the Lord her candle.
So, the Lord’s Light in her does not go out in the dark, because she
wants to be a help for her family. Her prayers, commitment, and hard
work are on the line.
There’s food which we,
God’s women, must release unto our families. Even while it is still
dark, before the new day begins (before each new period in our
family life; like the new baby coming, the kids starting school,
etc.), we must be prepared. We must have prayed, planned,
strategized, and prepared for the spiritual and natural well being
of our families. So when the “new day” begins, our families can rest
assured in the Divine provision – spiritually and naturally.
Let us allow the
Lord’s creativity to flow from us, not restricting Him, but doing
everything that is in our power to do, according to His leading.
This is not an impossible standard! The Lord has given us everything
needed to accomplish it. And every man will surely be blessed to
have such a helper.

Jesus Christ (Emmanuel) does not want a
single soul to perish, to waste away.
That is why He died on the
cross so that we shall be free.
“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of
the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that
ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. And this is the
confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according
to his will, he heareth us: and if we know that he hear us,
whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we
desired of him.”
1 JOHN 5:13-15 (KJV)
Prayers
without FAITH never work or bring about what we are
looking for from God. We need to have faith in God and never doubt
anything before our request will be answered.
“And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. And the
Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of
mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked
up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey
you.” Luke 17:5-6
God Our Father is Love and Mercy. He so much loves us that he gave
his only Son to die and wash away our sins. He also made it clear
that He will care for us and give us anything we request but we must
have faith in God. “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye
shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:” Matthew 7:7
The devil never wants good for us and loves to separate us from our
Loving Father! Let us come closer to God and have FAITH in His words
and all shall be well with us. “Know therefore that the LORD thy
God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and
mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a
thousand generations;” Deuteronomy 7:9
Peace, Love, Faith, and
Blessings be with all and may God continue to abide all of us
everyday.

How can you shorten your
days in the wilderness?
“Then Jesus was led up by the sprit into the wilderness to be
tempted by the devil.”
MATTHEW 4:1 (NKJV)
My
understanding is that everyone has an obligation to go to the
desert or wilderness. Jesus was led to the wilderness by the Holy
Spirit. The Israelites were led by a pillar of cloud by day and a
pillar of fire by night. (Exodus 13:21) On the way to the Canaan we go
through the wilderness, and on the way to the throne we will have to go
through the fire and the dens of lions. But the duration of your
wilderness stay depends on you, not GOD. Jesus
spent only 40 days in the wilderness, but the Israelites spend 40 years
and some died there in the wilderness.
You can stay long or short. It depends on you. When the Israelites
were about to enter Canaan they sent 12 spies to spy the country.
They came back divided 2 against 10. The 10 spies discouraged the
whole congregation by saying, “We cannot go there because the people
are greater than us. They will destroy us.” In fact, they reckoned
they were giants in Canaan and they looked like grasshoppers near
those giants.
It is a shame about all grasshopper Christians, because the Bible
says we are champions/conquerors. I thank GOD for the other 2 spies.
They brought a good report to the congregation. (Numbers 14:6-9)
Verse 9 says, “Only do not rebel against the LORD, neither fear ye
the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is
departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not.” Happy
are those when they look at their problems and see bread to eat. “If
GOD is for us who can be against us.” Romans 8:31 Just stop
complaining about the problems and the obstacles on the way. GOD
will move them.
Use these three principles when you are on the
dessert: (1) Change what you see, (2) Change what you hear, and
(3)
Change your speech -- speak faith.

A
Widow’s Offering? Yes, Generous Giving.
“For they all gave out of their
abundance—their surplus—but she has contributed out of her lack
and her want, putting in all that she had on which to live.”
LUKE 21:4 (Amplified)
The
one that gives a little offering was the cleverest one.
This was the idea held by baby believers of Christ in the village
where I was born
and brought up. People were used to little. When organizations asked
for financial support for ministry, I never observed anyone giving
generously but out of fear and compulsion. In the
village now I see surprisingly that God has raised up about 140+
ministers out of 200 families.
Now things are changed.
The idea of little giving has been converted into generous giving. The
church itself is supporting many ministers. I’m so much blessed to
be the only missionary from the village called Ashrayagada (the
refuge tower). When occasionally I visit my home village, I receive
a warm welcome when I enter the village. I love to spend time with
the peculiar personalities and they respond frankly when I reason
with them. “What if you give more to God for ministry?” Very often
they reply to me saying, “How can we generously and abundantly give
when we are not prosperous?” And this is the same question asked by
Christians.
Friends, I just want to
encourage us. God regards highly and values what we give. God never
worries about the size or shape of giving. In fact, to give, someone
need not to be prosperous but generous. So, someone need not to be
prosperous to be generous. If someone has the spirit of generosity,
a poor person can give like a prince. Many would like to give plenty
when they become prosperous.
Friends, if we cannot
learn to be generous in little, how can we give when living in
plenty? Friends, God teaches us generosity, especially when we live
in little. Jesus once declared to a congregation saying the widow
gave more than all others. Jesus counts the heart of hearts’
generosity. Understand the poor widow in Luke 21:1-4. After
all, she put in 2 pennies only. Blessed be the church of Macedonia,
for its generosity. Though they have been going through much
trouble and hard times, their joy and deep poverty have overflowed
in rich generosity. For I can testify that they gave not only what
they could afford but also more. And they did it of their own free
will. (2 Corinthians 8:2-3) We too can give like Macedonia
church. Can we exercise our own free will to be generous in our
little? God bless us to say, “Yes!” Amen.

Wherever the Light of God
shines,
there is HARMONY and PEACE among the brethren!
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to
dwell together in unity! It is like the precious
ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even
Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; as the
dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the
mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessings,
even life for evermore.
PSALM 133 (KJV)
As I was writing the meditation on “That they might be One,” God
gave me this word on the Blessing of Unity. As we become conscious
of the answer that GOD has given to Jesus’ Prayer in John 17, and
begin to flow in that Grace, God promises to bring us heaven’s
blessings. There are eight blessings which we find in our text
today.
1. God says
“it is good.” This takes us back to Eden when God was creating
our universe. Remember how He said “it is good” to everything He
made? Unity can only be made by God and it is good.
2. It is pleasant. God brings us into a place of
tranquillity and pleasantness in togetherness.
3. It is equivalent to a High Priestly Anointing.
4. It runs down every facet of life.
5. It brings Maturity.
6. It is refreshing.
7. It brings fruitfulness.
8. God’s presence is there with His blessings.
Behold how good it is for
brethren to dwell together in unity. May God grant you to hear His
heartbeat for His Church.

Prayer is privileged
communication which is never to be neglected.
“We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also
may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father
and with his Son, Jesus Christ.”
1 JOHN 1:3 (NIV)
How
would you understand “Prayer” ? To simply put it, prayer, which
is communication with God, is a privilege given to us by Him and must
never ever be neglected in order to be effective and bring glory to
God. “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we
ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that
he hears us -- whatever we ask -- we know that we have what we asked
of him.” 1 John 5:14-15 (NIV)
Since prayer is “surrendering one’s will to God’s will, it is meant
to bring us into a relationship with God each day of our lives, as
told in 1 John 5:14-15. Our prayer involves
Confession
(1 John 1:9),
Thanksgiving (Philemon 4:6), and
Intercession. Praying or
petitioning on behalf of others. (See 1 Samuel 12:23) Prayer is
“adoration” of God and is not limited to time or space. We must pray
for nations and people. (1 Timothy 2:1-4)
Hindrances to prayer are unforgiveness toward others and neglecting
to pray. (1Samuel 12:23) Disobedience to God is sin and if
unconfessed, our prayers will not be heard and will go unanswered,
and life will seem aimless and boring. Should we rob ourselves of
this God-given privilege of prayer?
Jesus is our example of prayer. (see Mark 1:35; Luke 3:21-22; Luke
9:29; John 11:41-42; Luke 22:31-32; see also John 17) Seven days
without prayer makes one WEAK. Prayer is putting your faith into
action and seeing results. “And without faith it is impossible to
please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he
exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Hebrews
11:6 Let’s make an evaluation of our prayers. How many prayers have
you had answered for the past year or months?

Keep Your Spiritual Life
Growing!
“Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the
springs of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth and put devious
lips far from you. Let your eyes look directly ahead, and let your
gaze be fixed straight in front of you. Watch the path of your feet,
and all your ways will be established. Do not turn to the right nor
to the left; turn your foot from evil.”
PROVERBS 4:23–27 (NAS)
There are so many things we need to do to keep our spiritual life
growing. We need daily prayer, Bible reading, and fellowship with
other believers. We also need to be open and available to the Holy
Spirit for Him to work through us to tell others of the love of God.
We need to concentrate on renewing our minds, feeding our minds from
the Word of God, memorizing God’s Word, and guarding our hearts and
minds from the attacks of evil ones. We are told to control our
hearts, our mouths, our eyes, and our feet. What is it that controls
each of these? Our mind. If our mind is filled with God’s Word, each
of the other parts will also do Godly things. Our whole being is to
be pleasing to God and the best way to be pleasing to God is to
commit our whole being, our body, to Him. Romans 12:1–2 says:
“Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present
your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is
your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this
world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you
may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable
and perfect.”
God also tells us to “consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but
alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your
mortal body so that you obey its lusts, and do not go on presenting
the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness;
but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your
members as instruments of righteousness to God.” We are told not to
do certain things and to do certain things. The idea is that God is
telling us we have a choice. We can choose to not let sin reign in
us and we can choose to present ourselves as instruments of
righteousness. What we have put into our minds helps us make those
choices.

Our God Is A Great Healer
“Now Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Syria, was a
great and honorable man in the eyes of his master, because by him
the LORD had given victory to Syria. He was also a mighty man of
valor, but he was a leper.”
2 KINGS 5:1 (NKJV)
Do
you believe that God is omnipotent? Can you be cured of
your sickness which you have been struggling with for many years?
The Bible tells us that this Naaman was the army commander of the
Syrian's army. He was an honorable person, in fact he was a hero
throughout the country, but he was a leper. The issue of the leprosy
troubled him so much he was in a hopeless situation. He lost peace
because of this disease (illness). One day he had been told good
news. That his sickness could be taken away, if he only went to meet
the prophet of God at Samaria. Naaman went to the king, and told him
everything that the maid said. The king said: “Go now, and I will
send a letter unto the King of Israel.” The Bible tells us that when
the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his clothes and said,
“Am I God to kill and to make alive? Why does this fellow send
someone to me to be cured of his leprosy? See how he is trying to
pick a quarrel with me!”
When Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn
his robes, he sent to him this message, “Why have you torn your
robes? Have the man come to me and he will know that there is a
prophet in Israel.” Elisha sent a message to say that to Naaman,
“Go, wash yourself seven times in the Jordan, and your flesh will be
restored and you will be cleansed.” But Naaman responded negatively.
He went away with anger. Eventually he accepted his servant’s advice
and went down to the Jordan river and dipped himself in the Jordan
seven times as the man of God had told him and his flesh was
restored and became clean like that of a baby. Hallelujah! (2
KING 5:7-14) What is leprosy? The leprosy is like sins; the
Jordan River is compared like the blood of Jesus Christ. Humble
yourself in front of Jesus. He will have mercy on you. No matter how
bad your situation or your sicknesses. You just take a step of faith
and trust in Him. All things will be alright.

Use your willpower, your human spirit to say
“No” to sin and temptation.
“Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that you should
obey it in the lust thereof.”
ROMANS 6:12 (KJV)
According
to our Bible passage, we are commanded by God to live a
life of righteousness, that we should not let sin reign in our
lives. This principle of letting not sin reign or rule in your life
or rule your life is the law of holiness. The law of holiness can
keep you in the righteousness of God. This is to say that God has
given you this power to say “No” to sin. This is the power of will
(will power) in you or your human spirit. If your inner man or your
willpower is not subdued by sin within, your body cannot be subdued
by any motion of sin from without. It is within that defiles the
without. “And he said, That which cometh
out of the man, that defileth the man. For from within, out of the
heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications,
murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness,
an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: all these evil things
come from within, and defile the man.” Mark 7:20-23
This is your responsibility as a Christian to build up your
willpower via studying the Word of God, so that you will be able to
say “No” to sin and temptation. This is a simple law of holiness;
let not. Daniel purposed in his heart; let not. Likewise, Joseph let
not the seductive words of Potiphar's wife gain mastery over his
will power or human spirit. It is your inner victory over sin that
determines your outward victory over it. So build up your willpower
by feeding your human spirit with the Word of God.
You have been set free from sin and dead to it. But you must refuse
to be alive to it again, using your willpower to say no. You must
submit your willpower to God’s righteousness and your body and soul
will yield to His righteousness. You have the power inherent in you.
Shalom.

Jesus always bears all our sins, both old and
new sin;
all sin for you and I, yesterday, today and tomorrow.
“And he is the propitiation for our sins;
and not for ours only,
but also for the sins of the whole world.”
1 JOHN 2:2 (KJV)
The
key words here are “HE IS” and that is present tense;
right now, in this present moment. Jesus bears our sins. Our sin has
Jesus bearing our iniquity even today. (1 John 1:7) As linear
beings, we like to view the Crucifixion experience as one that
happened once. GOD is MULTIDIMENSIONAL and whatever He does never,
ever stops. The evidence for this is protons, neutrons and
electrons. In all matter, these never stop moving. When we die, in
our dead bodies, what happens to them? Do they stop moving? A dead
person has moving protons, neutrons, and electrons—moving. What God
does never stops!
“For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the
life that He lives, He lives to God.” Romans 6:10 (1 Peter 3:18)
This death on the cross allowed Jesus unlimited access to our sins;
not only His access to sin, but sin’s access to Jesus. This is a
cyclic relationship that Jesus has with our sins. Jesus died for our
sins so we might be free from the wages of sin. Imagine the Lamb of
God, Jesus the Righteous having to go and get up on the Cross every
time you or I have ever committed a sin or continue in our present
sin. Would you or I be doing the wrong thing, the sin thing in our
lives if we thought for a second that Jesus would have to bear the
cross for even the smallest sin we commit? Think about it—don’t sin.
“Be ye holy for I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:16
Jesus did not become sin, or bear our sin or become a curse for us
until His death on the cross. His death completed a cycle—the life
and death cycle which then allowed sin to come upon, an Innocent.
This completed God’s plan for Jesus’ life on earth against evil. We
bear the cross and take in the Christ (Colossians 1:27; Ephesians
2:5) to complete God’s plan while we are here. From now on when
you think about committing a sin, think “Do I want to put Jesus on
the cross today?” Let us keep Jesus off of the cross in our lives
today and everyday. (Revelation 1:5)

Accepting God’s changes for our times and
circumstances transforms us.
“I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of
the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry
land springs of water. That they may see, and know, and consider,
and understand together, that the hand of the LORD hath done this,
and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.”
ISAIAH 41:18,20 (KJV)
Time
and circumstances. Man was placed in the garden of this
world to cultivate it and keep it. He is consequently in any moment
and in any place in “times and circumstances.” Let’s say even people
are limited by time, space, and by the circumstances. The rain, sun,
stars, the days and the nights, happiness and misfortune, the good
and the evil arrive at everyone without exception of race, religion,
sex, or of skin. It is worst nowadays, in these days of last times
when the enemy has few days and his anger is not abated. These times
and circumstances are very often unfavorable for the survival of
man.
Such is only reality. But what is it truth? The truth is the Word of
God, of which God knows. It consequently says that God will send
water on the faded and desiccated grounds. He will spread His Spirit
and His Blessing on any flesh, and God will change the rock into a
pond and the dessert will flower. God is not subject to the systems
of time, space, and circumstances. Quite simply because it is He who
created them.
It is useless to despair, to lower your weapons, or to cry bitterly
because God rises to transform sadness into joy, misfortune in
happiness, dryness into water, sterility into fruitfulness, the
desert into a pond, war into peace, weakness into strength, physical
and spiritual poverty into richness, a dry spiritual life into an
abundant spiritual life, failure into success, and promotion without
qualifying. He is large, powerful, and able to do it because He has
the power to achieve what He promised.
Change your position and God will change your situation. Change your
thoughts and God will renew you in a total and radical
transformation. (Psalms 107:35-38,41)

If you are going to give advice to
somebody, do it through your personal example.
“If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed
your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have
given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.”
JOHN 13:14-15 (KJV)
We are called to impart life, not just knowledge about God. Nobody
will be changed if all we have in ourselves is theology and
previously learned phrases from others. Our intellect can impress
somebody, but if we want to see change in the surroundings where the
Lord has placed us, we will have to be more than walking ABC books.
Once I told the Lord: “I am tired of being a Sunday Christian only,
while during the week I act totally inadequate!”
The true test of the power in us is not how strong we can clap
during Praise and Worship, and how loud we can shout “Hallelujah,”
but how much of the sin around us is being destroyed. How much of
the world around us is being changed. The power of a soldier can be
seen in the battlefield. The power of a Christian can be see when he
is outside the Church.
“Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself?
Thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? Thou
that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit
adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?”
Romans 2:21-22
Once, my unbelieving brother asked one of his employees, who was
trying to witness to him about Christ: “What has the Lord done for
you?” The employee started sharing what the Bible is saying, when my
unbelieving brother told him: “Don’t tell me what the Bible says,
tell me what the Lord has done for you.” Have life with God—a
relationship with God, so you can share not only what He has done
for others, but what He has done for you.

Give Him Thanks.
“I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast
given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we
desired of thee…”
DANIEL 2:23 a,b (KJV)
Do you find it easy to give thanks to God in difficult times? God
desires that you and I live a life full of thanksgiving. Yes, we
have to give thanks to Him for what He has done for us and for what
He is yet to do. “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by
prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made
known unto God.” Philippians 4:6
The Word says in Psalms 103:1-5; we must not forget His benefits,
and goes on to list a number of His benefits: He heals, forgives,
satisfies with good things, redeems, executes righteousness and
judgment. God is merciful and gracious; worthy to be praised.
Why don't you look at some of the things God has done for you and
give Him thanks? Sometimes we tend to complain about our hardships
and forget about His benefits. Let us not forget His benefits. No
matter what you are going through, there are many good things He has
done—so you have a reason to thank Him. “Giving thanks always for
all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus
Christ:” Ephesians 5:20
When Jesus healed 10 lepers, (Luke 17:11-19) only one came back to
give thanks. Jesus wondered where the other nine were. This shows
us that thanksgiving is required of us by the Lord.
“O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for
ever.” Psalm 136:2 So raise a prayer of thanksgiving to God today.
“Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.” 2 Corinthians 9:15

When God calls you, no matter where you
are, just answer “YES LORD!”
“I THEREFORE, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk
worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called.”
EPHESIANS 4:1 (KJV)
Move into HIS Call. This is a blessed testimony about a preacher that
we will refer to as “Joe.” He received his calling from GOD in the
country of Uganda in Central Africa, standing in the middle of a big
forest. He was uncertain. The forest was a deserted place where
people seldom came. There were no real attractions there. However,
in faith and obedience unto God, he submitted himself to move with
passion and joy, not simply as a duty to carry out, but as a
sacrifice of worship and praise to the Almighty God.
“Joe” arose and began to preach the coming of the Kingdom of God and
the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. He arranged in the forest a
place for worship and set up an altar, benches, special places for
elders, and so on. He spoke in the empty forest for seven hours and
only the trees and herbs joined him in praise and worship. As he was
concluding his Sunday message by inviting sinners to come out and
surrender their lives to the Lord, he was surprised when a multitude
came from seemingly nowhere in the forest and was lead to CHRIST.
That was the beginning of one of the great revivals in that region!
Praise God!
So, dearly beloved brothers and sisters, simply move in obedience
and faith unto God with the spirit of humility into your calling.
Remember that you can only please and serve GOD if you serve Him by
faith and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. I assure you that the
One who called you will never forsake you and will confirm that
calling with surprises; signs and wonders for His glory alone. Move
into the calling of God and do not make the same mistakes that Moses
did; adding another thirty years of bondage onto the lives of the
elect of God. Move in your specific calling that the Lord has
appointed for you. All praises and glory be unto God! AMEN.

Just as breathing is necessary for living,
so is challenge for Christian life.
“When thou goest out to battle against thine
enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more
than thou, be not afraid of them: for the Lord thy God is
with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.”
DEUTERONOMY 20:1 (KJV)
The only thing
that makes life as exciting as it is, is the number of
challenges we handle successfully. It is what differentiates boys
from men, children from sons. Do you anticipate growth(s) in the
Lord? Then be prepared to face challenges. “And though the Lord give
you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your
Teacher will not hide Himself any more, but your eyes shall
constantly behold your Teacher.” Isaiah 30:20 (Amplified) Conflict
and confrontation are an unavoidable ingredient for growth. “A
friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”
Proverbs 17:17
“Meat that has oil is always proved on fire,” says a Nigeria
proverb. This same way challenges make us to see what we are made up
of: inferior materials or gold. Pressure has come to press out the
treasure in you. For “if you fail under pressure, your strength is
not great.” Proverbs 24:10 (NLT)
Your manhood, womanhood, or childhood is revealed has you handle
your challenges wisely. Challenges are vehicles to reveal how
intelligently you govern your world. “In the day of prosperity be
joyful, but in the day of adversity consider that God has made the
one side by side with the other, so that man may not find out
anything that shall be after him.” Ecclesiastes 7:14 (Amplified)
This next or present challenge is an opportunity to prove your
dominion in Jesus. Today is not a day to run away, stay and win the
war.

Just do one breath at a time.
“For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept;
line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a
little:”
ISAIAH 28:10 (KJV)
(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the
day of salvation have I succoured thee:
behold, now is the
accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
2 CORINTHIANS 6:2 (KJV)
“Take therefore no thought for the morrow:
for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.
Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”
MATTHEW 6:34 (KJV)
Everyone
has an idea of “where they are supposed to be.” Whether
it be physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually, people
constantly think and dwell on their position in life. Some people,
want a bigger house, others want to lose weight, and still some of
us want to grow intellectually so we seek either God (the WORD
Deuteronomy 28) or man (institutions, PHD’s, Internet…). Never
the less, all of us have an idea of where we should be. And
rightfully so! There is more responsibility placed on a thirty-five
year old than on a thirteen-year old.
The Word of God explains that everything takes place one step at a
time. Today people want a new this or a new that and they feel as if
it is time for it now; but it is not. If you are a born-again
Christian and God has not answered your prayer, then it is happening
in God’s time. We must remember that ALL aspects of our lives must
be done in order. Think about a newborn baby, it grows in steps. The
newborn cannot talk when he or she comes out of the womb. The brain
is not developed enough to perform this function. Yet after seconds,
minutes, hours, days, weeks, and months pass the child begins to
learn the skill needed to speak.
Doing things in order means avoiding procrastination, slothfulness
(laziness), rebelliousness, and disobedience. By applying the fruits
of the SPIRIT, we will stay in God’s Will, which keeps our steps in
order.

Seven Crowns Christians Can Receive.
1. The Crown of Life – “Blessed is the man who perseveres under
trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown
of life that God has promised to those who love Him.” James 1:12
(NIV), (Revelation 2:10)
2. The Imperishable Crown –
“Do you know that in a race all runners
run, but only one gets the prize? Everyone who competes in the games
goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not
last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.”
1 Corinthians 9:24-25 (NIV)
3. The Crown of Rejoicing –
“What is our hope, our joy, or the crown
in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when He
comes?” Is it not you? Indeed you are our glory and joy.”
1 Thessalonians 2:19,20 (NIV) This crown is awarded to believers who
persuade others to believe on Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
4. The Crown of Righteousness –
“But you, keep your head in all
situations, endure hardships, do the work of an evangelist,
discharge all the duties of your ministry. Now there is in store for
me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge,
will award to me on that day – and not only to me, but also to all
who have longed for his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:5, 8 (NIV)
5. The Crown of Glory – “Feed the flock of God which is among you…
not for filthy lure,… neither as being lords over God’s heritage,
but being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd shall
appear you shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not a way.”
1 Peter 5:2-4 (KJV)
6. The Over Comers Crown –
“…hold that fast which thou hast, that no
man take thy crown. Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the
temple of my God…” Revelation 3:11 (KJV) The overcomer is promised a crown
if he holds steadfast to that which has been given by God.
7. The Martyr’s Crown – “Fear none of those things which thou shalt
suffer: behold, the devil will cast some of you into prison, that
you may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation… be thou faithful
unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.” Revelation 2:10
(KJV) A
martyr is one, who is “…slain for the word of God, and for the
testimony which they held:” Revelation 6:9b (KJV) Stephen was the first to
receive this crown. (Acts 7:54-60)

Your prayer request
should not be your last recourse.
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and
supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto
God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall
keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7 (KJV)
Many do not have a prayer request at all and can only complain.
Others make their prayer requests by obligation only. This means
when all the possibilities and hopes for success are finished and
all the exits closed, then we use prayer. Finally, others make their
prayer requests for vain desires, reasons of convenience or because
time allows.
What an undervaluation of the prayer! The prayer is not the last
cartridge. It is, let’s say rather, it must be, the first cartridge.
Placed at this priority position, it always reaches its target. In
fact, this first or primary position, saves much in the area of vain
annoyances (out of order circumstances because of out of order
positioning), inappropriate misfortunes (in the wrong place at the
wrong time because of the wrong reason), non-founded concern
(worry), badly founded concerns (poor thoughts, action or
direction), useless fear (afraid for the wrong reasons), foolish
mislaying (misplace or forget where you put something) and things
such as these.
The Bible advises us to request before all things, during all things
and after all things. This is a life of faith in God and the proof
of our dependence on God. By error, we find certain things very
simple – too obvious. Things vary with a range of hands, so much so
that to request becomes for us useless, not necessary. We launch out
with precipitation, our human intelligence, capacities, and
know-how. It is when we stumble or meet serious obstacles that we
recall the fact that we must pray! When we make our requests known
to God, the abundant peace of God keeps our hearts and our thoughts.
Our hearts are emptied of any concern and any misfortune — pray,
pray, and pray always. AMEN!

Your passion will determine your pursuit.
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are
heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
MATTHEW 11:28 (NKJV)
The
world is full of problems and distractions. So we always
need someone who knows the way to guide us, so we make as few errors
and detours as possible. The greatest tragedy of mankind in this
direction is that we often lean on others who themselves are beset
with the woes of life, perhaps even more than those who lean on them
are.
Jesus saw the human race during His earth walk and “He was moved
with compassion for them, because they were weary (harassed) and
scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.” Matthew 9:36 Little
wonder He gives the open invitation to people to come to Him. This
invitation is a call to gather around the throne of grace, so we can
find help. It is an invitation to let go of the burdens and troubles
of the day and find proper direction and freshness for our lives.
One may ask, “But why are the people scattered?” The scriptures say:
“Strike the shepherd and the sheep will be scattered.” Zechariah
13:7 The leaders of the people have been struck by what they do
not understand, and the people are scattered. The leaders have
veered off into idolatry and do not even know it. Gold has become
their god and they cannot even detect it because they have been
blinded. Gain has become godliness and a man’s spirituality and
anointing is now measured by the gold he has. It is all about money.
The mammon of unrighteousness rules. The economy is driven by demons
and church leaders do not even know it because they have been struck
by blindness.
Amidst all this Jesus says, “come and I
will give you rest.” Is money bad? Is it demonic? By no
means whatever! “Money is a defense” and “answers
all things.” Ecclesiastes 7:12b, 10:19b However, money
should never be your chief of defense staff. “Yes the Almighty
shall be your gold (defense).” Job 22:25 Money is a very good
and handy servant. With it you can do almost anything you want to
do. It is the best slave you can possess. However, money can be a
very cruel task master. It will drive you until you are dead
spiritually, then it will destroy your life. Money should never be
allowed to rule in your affairs. Let us hear the words of Jesus and
resort to Him and He will give us rest from our labors.

Be not like a horse or a mule without
intelligence. One attaches them with a brake and a bit.
“I am sending you out like sheep among
wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.”
MATTHEW 10:16
(NIV)
The
current world
is full with many types of evil and
irreligious people where the law of retaliation can reign. How does
one survive and live in peace? It is necessary to form a
relationship with the Prince of the Peace who is Jesus, the
all-powerful God. He is the One who can communicate to us the things
which can bring us into life, into a life of excellence, and royalty
in His Peace.
This may seem foreign in the sight of the men of this world where
science, academics, and medicine have all made great strides. The
one thing that we need though is wisdom. The wisdom of the world is
madness in front of God. The wisdom of God is madness for this
world, because they are incompatible. No one should be mistaken, if
somebody among you thinks of being wise according to this century,
they must become insane in order to appear wise. “Do not deceive
yourselves, if any one of you thinks he is wise by the standards of
this age, he should become a “fool” so that he may become wise.” 1
Corinthians 3:18 Those who are wise are those belonging to the
fact and who know that the Lord is a personal Savior. It is He,
Jesus our Wisdom, our Justice, our Sanctification and our
Redemption.
It is necessary for us to know the characteristics of wisdom. There
are two: the Divine that we seek and the terrestrial, carnal, or
demonic. Demonic wisdom is bitter jealousy, competition, disorder,
bad practices, and pride. The wisdom which comes from God is pure,
peaceful, moderated, reconciling, filled with mercy and good fruits
without partiality, or hypocrisy. The fruit of peace is sown in
peace by the peacemakers. (James 3:14-18)
Apostle Paul says in 1 Corinthians 4:10-13, “We are fools
for Christ’s sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye
are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.” Being wise
and intelligent is to observe the laws of God and to put them into
practice.
