The Children for Christ Ministry International was founded Dec. 13, 2002 in Accra, Ghana in the Liberian Refugee camp.  It happened on this faithful evening returning from Bible study. I saw the children playing, some fighting, some abusing each other, and seeing some don’t even have clothes to wear, not in school, and looking at the vulnerable life they were living.  I felt the compassion that they need to be loved, because Liberia will depend on them tomorrow, but Liberia can’t if they don’t have a good up bringing.

They need shelter, education relief assistance to enable them be productive citizens in the future to come. This is how God led me to them. I called their attention and they all turn to me and I told them that I wanted us to be having studies and they all agreed.  This is how we started and God started to do the rest. The Word of God told me as He told us to go into the world spreading His Word and baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in the book of Mark 15:16. That’s how CCMI started up to Liberia. It has been really rough.

It was abandoned by my sister who was helping financially at the time.  I really needed her.  The finances is very much important at this time.  I was thinking how to pay some of the kids' feeds for school, but God give me the strength to overcome.  It didn't come as easy as I ‘m saying it. It has not been easy. Here again, I started to face problems in starting. 

But God made me to know that it is He who has given this ministry, so I took all their discouragement from friends and family members. Some would come and say, "You have just returned from Ghana. You are not settled. You are spoiling your money behind these children." Some said,  "I was unserious and that I’m wasting my time and money on these children."  With no source of income to live up to the vision, but children kept coming, so then I knew the task was for God and He’s was just using me.

We are here to mold minds of thousands of our little brothers and sisters that are traumatized, living in the streets, and war-affected, to get them to know Jesus Christ, and to provide shelter.  Those we will be taking from the streets, to provide education, social, moral, spiritual training for them, to provide relief items for the kids' medication, clothing, and food. 

One may ask why the name Children for Christ Ministry International: God has given me the vision for the whole of Africa. Most of the leaders are making their citizens to suffer because they don't have the fear of God.  If the fear of God is in their hearts, they won’t corrupt the system for they and their family to enjoy, while the others are suffering.  This is why we want to mold the minds of our kids to be good and God fearing leaders for tomorrow, in Proverb 22: 6: the Word of God tells us to train up our children in the way they should grow, and when they are old they won’t depart from it.

To enable us carry on this task that the heart has instructed us to do, we are in-need of the following: transportation, step-in volunteers; that’s one of the problems we are seriously facing.  Getting people to work with us because we don’t have the funds.   May God richly bless you, and as you receive this brief history about us may he use to be a great blessing to us.

Kindly be informed that you should please organize a prayer chain to keep the CCMI in prayers because I ‘m taking the ministry in the rural area, but can’t do it without funds and God’s protection, because we know we will meet a series of trials.
