The Prayer of Faith. Beloved Brothers and Sisters and Children of Christ, I command this blessing upon you now. Father Eli in the name of Emmanuel, our Saviour, according to Your Words Father and the Words of Jesus in the Holy Scriptures (Luke 10:19; Matthew 16:19; 18:19) give right now to those called by the name of Christ what they have been praying for, what is in their hearts, what is in their minds, and all things which they desire which is in accordance for Your Will Father Eli for the Kingdom of Heaven. Thank You for this Father and Emmanuel, so the Father may be glorified. I love You and our Holy Family for helping Us in all things. Amen.

This prayer applies to the saved. “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture." John 10:9 This is how to make your prayers work for you. 1) If you have unforgiveness in your heart (mind, soul, body) towards anyone or anything, you must forgive them. Forgive them by giving it to Jesus and allow it to hang on His Cross. Forgive them by being positive about the issue (Count it all joy. (James 1:2)); and let it go. Then tell your Heavenly Father or your Heavenly Brother Jesus that you have forgiven them. 2) You must ask your Heavenly Father (in the Name of Jesus: Emmanuel) for forgiveness of your sins, knowing He loves you enough to forgive you of your sins, no matter what they are. (Psalm 102:12) 3) You must have this Divine Knowledge.

When you are “saved,” you are not only saved, you are made whole, you are protected, you are preserved, you are healed, and you are delivered. The Greek word for “saved” means all those things; therefore when our Saviour Jesus died on the Cross for us, when He completed His Mission, He did all of those things and more. It stands to reason, that if you know this and believe this, you should put this into practice. “42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.” Luke 18 The Prayer of Faith.

Lesson Objective:

To help the reader understand that there is no reason you have to be poor and without having the basic necessities which life has to offer. It is important to understand certain principles which allow you to have the most of what life has to offer. You only have to know them and apply them. These seminar lesson plans will show you how to become success if you presently are not; and will show you how to become more successful if you are presently successful.

Lesson:

I worked nine hours a night putting myself through college. My father was a rich man; he wanted to send me to college. But I remembered right off what the Word says, “Acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.” The Lord spoke saying, “Work your way through college and let your father keep his money.” This is exactly what I did and this is when my success started. You can start operating this way. Use your God-given gifts to create the life that you want.

I am 81 years of age and if I had another 48 years to travel this earth, I don’t know what I would do differently. If I travel this earth another 48 years, I would have additional records of accomplishment to share with you. Use what I share with you in this book and you will have success beyond your imagination. If I can do it, so can you!

This book is going to teach you how to sell anything and everything including yourself. By reading and practicing the proven sales techniques found here, you can become successful financially in sales; whether you are selling now for a living or whether you have never thought about selling for a living.

Whatever your passion is, take a serious look at the opportunities within the pages of this book to fine-tune your business acumen. The information in this book will give you the tools to get the “Yeses” that are paramount.

Before the present economic downturn, people thought they could depend on that next paycheck. However, with so many pink slips and layoff notices handed out causing record-breaking unemployment, we have come to realize that there may not be a steady pay check. Do not panic. This book has your answer. Read this book and learn how to overcome your fear of salesmanship. Learn to master selling products and services, instead of working that nine-to-five job at Joe’s Meat Market or South East Corporate office. Practice this book’s techniques and learn how not only to sell, but also to become a “profit center” for your business or for the company where you work.

The money is in sales. Name one business that you know that makes money without making a sale. Anyone can make money in sales when you learn the correct techniques, put them into practice and overcome the fear of meeting people. Learn to hire a “public relations representative” instead of putting an advertisement in the newspaper for a “sales associate.”

Some people have the “gift of gab,” great personalities or wonderful conversational skills. That does not have to be you. Do not worry about them. The minute you open your mouth, you are selling something. It might be yelling for the Atlanta Falcons, “Come on team!” but you are selling. You are selling that team. When you are standing at your office water cooler talking about how great your sports hero performed, you are selling that sports hero and that sport; and you are not making a dime out of it.

Pick a product or service, which is beneficial to someone or has that potential and talk about it—guess what—you are now selling. If you meet a rude person, remember, they have the problem, not you. Knock on doors, make some calls, have lunch, go to the country club, pull out those golf clubs and read this book. Read it not only once, but enough for the information to become a part of your daily conversation. Be motivated. Get out there and sell your product or service. Do not be afraid to knock on some doors.

The people who want your business are out there in the field. You or someone in your company must go out there and sell the people the benefits—the benefits of your products and services—or you have to get them into your store. In a nutshell, you have to go where the people are or get them to where you are. Next, you must get referrals and attempt to establish long-term relationships with your customer base. These relationships are the driving forces of any long-term successful business model.

You have made a great investment in yourself and your future with the application of the techniques in these lessons. Now practice the professional sales techniques within these pages and see your success grow as you put in the effort and faith in your ability to offer individuals and businesses the opportunities that they are looking for in your products and services. It is great and amazing what people can do once given the opportunity.

Lesson:

Many of you may know AC from his real estate days when “white flight” was beginning and at its paramount in Atlanta, Georgia. I am James Anthony Allen, Director of eBlessings (eBlessings.us), an international Internet inter-denominational ministry and collaborator in this effort. Many people benefited from AC’s “Jacob-like” sales techniques.

Before AC came to our home, the Holy Spirit said to me, “AC Brown is coming over.” I thought and asked my wife, “Who is AC Brown? Do you know him? Is he that guy standing up praising God all the time at church?” Yes, that was him—AC Brown. During my life, the Holy Spirit may have told me only three times that someone was coming—this was one of those times. I knew something special was going to happen with this visit—P.A.U.S.E.^® (Practical Application and Use of the Scriptures Everyday) was revealed to me after four (4) years of working with AC; four tough long-suffering years.

He said, “Allen, I have been a millionaire three times, each time the LORD told me to stick with a specific person and I would make millions.” “Allen,” he said, “this time the LORD told me to ‘Stick with Allen,’ and I am going to do just that. Alonza C. Brown owned and rented single-family homes; additionally, he built and owned apartment home communities. You Sell All the Time

How I Learned to

Sell Anything

(and Everything)

or 48 years I’ve heard people make statements like this. “If I had the proper education…” Or “If I were not born with the color of this skin, I could succeed in life.” “If I were only thinner… smarter… or prettier.” In this book I will teach you how I was able to learn to sell anything. Early in my life I learned to listen and observe those around me to development an acumen of sales success. These sales techniques will help you with your sales objectives, goals and sales volumes. I have done it this way for over forty-eight (48) years. If I can do it this way, you can too.

My success started my senior year in high school. In high school I was labeled just a good old school bus driver. The principal of the high school was excited about having a speaking contest with members of the senior class before graduation. He brought the teachers from the Caucasian school to judge this contest. This I thought was unusual.

I never had the opportunity to practice with my classmates before the contest, because I drove a school bus during that class period. I practiced at night at home before a mirror; sometimes as late as twelve midnight or one am. On the day of the contest, the judge stood and said, “Ladies and gentlemen, we have heard some good speakers today, but we have unanimously agreed that our first place speaker is Alonza C. Brown.”

Winning that speaking contest changed my life completely. It increased my self-confidence. It boosted my ego and gave me incentive to seek success through goal setting. It made me feel good about myself. Remember this always, in high school I was labeled “just a good old school bus driver.” But before I left that stage that day as the good old school bus driver that I was, I made up my mind that very day that everything I would touch in life from this point forward would turn to gold.

Remember what I said – I was in high school driving a school bus. I did this to make extra money. If I can do it this way, you can too. And it is not too late to make that decision to start—to start selling. Make a decision to make a change in your life through sales and through increasing your current sales and magnifying your sales potential. Why did I make this decision to go into sales instead of sticking to my nine-to-five job? How could I make this decision?

I realized that everyone and their brother were selling something the moment they opened their mouths. I decided I was going to use the same techniques I used to win that speaking contest—aggressiveness towards my goals and believing in myself when others did not. You can do it the way I did it and be on your way to being a highly successful sales person. Before you realize it you will be on your way to being a sales person who can earn hundreds of thousands of dollars. Receive the real success that you are looking for—you can find it in sales.

The question is: How did I win that speaking contest? My sister-in-law Ruth Brown, a real-life Saint, taught me at home at night by the mirror.

“Alonza,” Ruth Brown my sister-in-law said to me in one of her training sessions, “if you want to win that speaking contest, you need to observe your father Sam Brown.”

Chapter Six

Know Father God is Real

Key Scripture:

“For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

John 3:16

Lesson Objective:

To increase our spiritual growth by giving us insight into who we are in the Holy Family of our Heavenly Father as it relates to Christ Jesus of Nazareth. As our understanding of our spiritual selves grow, then we can move further away from our natural selves—moving to be, speak, and act more like our Heavenly Father as Emmanuel did and does. When our understanding develops wherein we know God, Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is within, then we will be able to better hear them speak to us in and through our daily physical, emotional, spiritual and natural experiences.

Lesson:

Christ Jesus is Real

here is a Heavenly Father. First, you have to believe that there is a Creator. No matter what His name is or what you believe His name is or what other people call Him, you have to believe there is a Him or Her or It. (Gender is something Father God created to suit us.) But I will go with what the Scriptures ascribes to our Heavenly Father, namely—Him. We cannot fathom Father God in all of His Magnanimous Being. You have to believe that there is a power greater than you are. That power is namely Elohim.

If we are created in the image of Father God, then Father God is both male and female; adult and child. We must believe in Father God, and believe that He died for our sins in the form of Jesus of Nazareth, Who is The Christ. This is the beginning of our journey! Know this: Jesus is alive! God is alive! And They live in you!

Jesus was Father God in the flesh when He walked on earth as a man. We are humans who live on earth in a shell of flesh with the spirit of Father God dwelling within. Note, the spirit (lowercase “s”) of Father God, is the spirit of Father God which Father God put into us as the “breath of life” when man became a living soul. This is the spirit in every man, woman and child on earth. This spirit makes us living souls.

“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

Genesis 2:7

Why do I say that everyone has this lowercase “s” in them? Because whatever God does, never stops. Whatever God does never stops unless He stops it. The example of this is the ever-expanding universe. Once Father (FTHR) God created the universe, it never stopped expanding; it is always moving.

QUESTIONS:

1. What would make Father God love His Creation so much, in spite of the wickedness in humankind?

2. How does our Heavenly Father giving us His Son equate to giving of Himself?

3. How does believing in Jesus Christ of Nazareth give us eternal life? How does that work?

4. Do you know that God, Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit dwell within you? Give an example of each one living inside of you.

5. Do you truly believe Father God is your Creator? Give three solid examples of your faith in Father God.

6. Why do you think God created “gender”?

7. Give three names for Father God, which you know.

8. Explain the concept of God making us male, female, adult, and child.

9. Give clear evidence that you know God and Jesus is alive.

Know Father God is Real

Lesson Objective:

To increase our spiritual growth by helping our understanding of the Power of Father God in us both naturally and supernaturally in an effort to aid our daily living through the assistance of the Holy Ghost indwelling in us. To aid our understanding of the continual movement of our Heavenly Father in our lives and in Creation.

Lesson:

Christ Jesus is Real

hatever God does never stops unless He stops it. The example of this is the ever-expanding universe. Once Father (FTHR) God created the universe, it never stopped expanding; it is always moving.

Here is another example that you may find quite interesting. Everything in our physical world is composed of protons, neutrons, and electrons. These protons, neutrons, and electrons are in everything, even us, and they never stop moving. In solid objects they move slowly and in less solid objects they move faster—the less solid, the faster they move. These protons, neutrons, and electrons are also in us. Now here is the question. Let me say that this is a “trick” question. When you die what happens to the protons, neutrons, and electrons? Do they stop moving?

Answer: When a person dies, the protons, neutrons, and electrons never stop moving. Even in dead people, there is electrical energy in the form of protons, neutrons, and electrons. What Father God creates, never stops; unless He wants to stop it. After all, He is God! Back to the topic at hand.

This spirit, lowercase “s,” is not to be confused with the Spirit of Father God, uppercase “S,” and i.e., the Holy Spirit or Father God Himself. Those who are Holy Spirit-filled and who have the Holy Spirit walk the earth with both the “spirit” of Father God (breathe of life) and the Spirit of Father God (Holy Spirit). The Holy Spirit can come and go to and from a person or can be indwelling. Some people believe a person gets the Holy Spirit once they become “saved.” I believe when you have the Holy Ghost indwelling, there will be the manifestation of unknown “tongues.” Why do I say this? The Holy Bible is filled with “models,” or examples. The model for the Holy Ghost is the Day of Pentecost.

“¹And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. ²And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. ³And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. ⁴And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. ⁵And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. ⁶Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.”

Acts 2:1-6

11 Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done. 12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers, 13 saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept. 14 And if this come to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and secure you. 15 So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day. 9 And (they) returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest. 10 It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles. 11 And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not. The Grace of God works in unique ways in the believer’s life.

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.” TITUS 2:11-14 (NIV)

race of God -1. In the previous teaching, we could see clearly that God’s grace through Christ Jesus has brought us salvation. However, grace still continues to function in the life of the believer. It does not end in salvation. Rather, it continues to operate in our lives. Jesus said, “Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.” Matthew 7:20 (NIV)

The reason Paul left Titus in Crete was to set in order those things wanting (Titus 1:5). In other words, he should study and prayerfully work in Crete to ensure that Cretan believers lined their lives with the Word of God and live a life worthy of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that was preached to them.

After we get born again, the grace of God still operates in our lives to enable us to conform to the image of the Son of God. It helps us to manifest the kingdom life-pattern, quite different from the world passions which operate in the lives of unregenerated people.

Titus 2:12-14. Grace teaches us the following among other things:

v. 12-13

(1)     To say ‘No’ to ungodliness and worldly passions.

(2)     To live self controlled life: The flesh dictates without grace whereas, the Holy Spirit dictates under grace.

(3)     To live an upright and godly life in this present age.

(4)     Keeps us waiting for the blessed hope-the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. When we live our life for God, we manifest as people not only separated to Him but also, eagerly doing good works like Him by touching lives and nations until He comes. (TO BE CONTINUED)

Chapter Six

Know Father God is Real

Key Scripture:

"²Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: ³And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. ⁴Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."

1 John 4:2-4

Lesson Objective:

To increase our spiritual growth by getting us to recognize and understand that we must attempt to be as righteous as possible because Father God is watching everything we say and do. We have to be mindful of the presence of the antichrist enemies and learn to defeat them because our Heavenly Father is within us and with us: our daily ally.

Lesson:

Father God is Living

ather God is Living. People—non-Christians and Christians alike, do not think Father God is alive, around, or in control; or any combination of the three. In general, people place God on the mantelpiece as if He were in a burial urn. We must treat Father God as someone living, Whom we consult with daily, both in tough times and in good times. Though we may believe it, we often do not act as if El Shaddai is actually watching what we do and listening to what we say.

Let’s change that! If we really thought for a hot second or a New York minute, that He was alive and in control, we would refrain from many of our errant activities. If we thought that what we were doing was being broadcast on national television, we would refrain from many of our negative activities and words. Father God watching us is worst than our being broadcast on national television. He is the One who gives us eternal life. I ask you, “Which is more important, your negative tirade being broadcast nationally, or you getting to spend eternity in hell?”

We see Abba Father’s blessings in our lives and in our families’ lives, but often we do not recognize Him or acknowledge Him for His Presence. We do not have to “feel” God for Him to be present. In our heart of hearts, we know that there is a God out there. At least we hope there is, especially in our times of despair or need.

We must recognize Father God because He is in our hearts, our minds, and our souls. We can see His majesty in His creations. We see His majesty throughout the earth. We should thank Abba Father for His gifts to the earth and His gifts in our lives.

QUESTIONS:

1. How are we as Christians to know the Spirit of God?

2. What is one way to identify the spirit of the antichrist?

3. What is the difference between the “antichrist” and the “spirit of the antichrist,” which is already in the world?

4. How have we overcome and how do we overcome the those who have the spirit of the antichrist?

5. Give three examples of your not treating Father God as a daily part of your decision-making this week.

6. Name three things you have done in the last six months that you would not want broadcast on national television.

7. What are three meaningful spiritual ways to acknowledge God in your life? Three physical ways? Three emotional ways?

8. Why is it important for Christians to understand that we do not have to “feel” Father God to know He is present in our lives? In the room? At work? At school?

9. Name two reasons why you believe Father God is in you?

10. How do you thank Father God for His Love which He shows towards you in your life?

Our Lord Jesus had offered Himself as a sacrifice for the purpose of redeeming us:

Before grace came, we lived for ourselves to please the sinful nature according to the world standards. Grace came that we may live for God and to be fruitful according to the workings of the Holy Spirit. Galatians 5:22-25.

Proof of grace increasing abundantly or exceedingly in our lives manifests as we mature in Christ’s stature and engage in good works as well as develop the fruit of the Spirit. The Gifts of the Spirit help us to demonstrate God’s power as we preach the gospel. While the Fruit of the Spirit helps us to develop the character of God and exhibit His virtues; Ephesians 5:1-2, II Peter 1:5-8. This is the ultimate of the workings of God’s grace upon our lives.

Since, when is what is not worth living for, is not worth dying for?

TITUS 2:11-14 (NIV)

Grace of God - 3. “So, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to Him who was raised from the dead , in order that we might bear fruit to God.” Romans 7:4 (NIV)

Wherever the Spirit of God leads you, the grace of God will keep you. Grace works more in obedience and obedience works righteousness in the Believer’s life. In other words, grace abounds more and more in righteousness. Psalm 45:7. Justice enhances obedience and righteousness to enable grace to abide in the Believer’s life. Psalm 45:6-8, John 15:7-10.

Acts 10:38 shows us that the Lord Himself was busy effecting lives, working night and day to serve the Father until the Father called Him home after offering Him as a sacrifice, to die for what He lived for. He obeyed unto death. Philemon 2:1-11 The grace of God enables us to obey promptly without reservation.

Since, when is what is not worth living for, is not worth dying for? Jesus died for what He lived for. What are you living for? If Jesus comes now, will you say you are satisfied with the way you have lived your life? Also, will you say you’re satisfied with the way you’ve served Him? Whatever it is, there is still room for improvement. You only have to take a decision to go in the positive direction.

5 - Serve: Grace enables us to work more than our natural strength can take us. Hear Paul appreciating the Lord’s salvation, call and his own commitment to God’s grace:

v.8 “….and last of all He appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.

v.9 For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

v.10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them - yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.” 1 Corinthians 15:8-10.

Grace gives us supernatural ability to do the work of God even our own business better than our natural skill can do.

6 - Prayer: Just like service, the grace of God enables us to pray beyond natural ability especially in praying the mind of God. It’s by God’s grace that we can receive rhema from God. Even to understand when God speaks by signs, it takes His grace.

7 - Forgiveness: It takes the grace of God to forgive others especially when you are deeply hurt, persecuted or wrongly accused in your relationship with them or concerning your faith.

8 - Love: When it comes to agape, i.e sacrificial love, it is the grace of God that can make us to love those who despise fully use us. Rom. 15:1–3, 1 Cor. 16:14

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, abide with us forever. Amen.

lessing of the LORD – 1. What the LORD is sharing with us today is really, really great spiritually and here is something for which I have desired and prayed for and I simply asked in prayer and received the answer and did not see it for two years, even though God said that I had everything that I would ever need to receive more money than I could imagine not only for me, but for my children and my children’s children. Here is what the Lord shared with me through the Holy Spirit and other willing vessels, some knowingly and others unknowingly.

Let me first point out before I begin, that there is a difference between a blessing, blessings, and “the BLESSING OF THE LORD.” The Blessing of the LORD is a special blessing that everyone does not get to enjoy all the time, much at all, and some not at all. But there is a difference between the two. For this short essay, let’s say it is like you being alive right now is a blessing. When you believe you receive “Favor” from the Lord in situations -- can be viewed in this example only -- for your understanding in this essay, of what the “Blessing of the LORD” really is about.

Okay, but it (the Blessing on the LORD) is much bigger than mere “Favor,” though Favor is great to get and have. What am I trying to say here: the Blessing of the Lord is huge and effects even the unsaved. Favor and blessings are big, but the “Blessing of the LORD” is sought out vigorously by those who understand it. That is why you hear choirs sing songs for twenty minutes or long periods of time -- to receive blessings from God and here I am not talking about emotional feelings and tears only, but a true visceral spiritual personal experience. You may hear them calling it getting into the Presence of God. Truly when you get into the Presence of God you will receive His BLESSING, at least an emotional blessing and as you move in those blessings, the blessings increase. Are you still with me? There is more.

King David before He was King and all of that, received the Blessing of the LORD. Joseph had the Blessing of the LORD upon his life. How did they manage that? I will tell you next time…

How I Learned to

Sell Anything (and Everything)

For 48 years I’ve heard people make statements like this. “If I had the proper education…” Or “If I was not born with the color of this skin, I could succeed in life.” “If I were only thinner… smarter… or prettier.” In this book I will teach you how I was able to learn to sell anything. Early in my life I learned to listen and observe those around me to development an acumen of sales success. These sales techniques will help you with your sales objectives, goals and sales volumes. I have done it this way for over forty-eight (48) years. If I can do it this way, you can too.

My success started my senior year in high school. In high school I was labeled just a good old school bus driver. The principal of the high school was excited about having a speaking contest before you could graduate. He brought the teachers from the Caucasian school to judge this contest. This was unusual.

I never had an opportunity to practice with my classmates before the speaking contest, because I drove a school bus during that class period. On the day of the contest, the judge stood and said, “Ladies and gentlemen, we have heard some good speakers today, but we have unanimously agreed that our first place speaker is Alonza C. Brown.”

Winning that speaking contest changed my life completely. It increased my self-confidence. It boosted my ego and gave me incentive to seek success through goal setting. Remember this always, in high school I was labeled “just a good old school bus driver.” But before I left that stage that day as the good old school bus driver that I was, I made up my mind that very day that everything I would touch in life from this point forward would turn to gold.

The question is: How did I win that speaking contest? My sister-in-law Ruth Brown, a real-life Saint, taught me at home at night by the mirror.

“Alonza,” Ruth Brown my sister-in-law said to me in one of her training sessions, “if you want to win that speaking contest, you need to observe your father Sam Brown.”

Here is where I became acutely aware of practicing speeches. I would realize after my speech how positive the effects of a successful speech could be.

I would write out my presentation. I would read it over and over again until I became familiar with it. You have to learn it. No one knows that your sales speech is memorized. You cannot adlib the sales presentation, because it will not work. It has to be practiced until it becomes a part of you. Not that part of you that goes to church on Sunday, but that part of you that is with you all day long; seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day.

People are doing the same old things the same old ways. Writing it down, listening to the CD once, putting it down, going home, getting out of the car and continuing to do it the same old way. Aren’t you tired of this program? If you are not getting the results you want, you must do it a different way. Do something with your life differently. Do not leave your husband. Do not leave your wife. But leave that non-successful place where you are and pick up selling. It will be the best financial decision you will have made in your life.

I became serious about practicing speeches with their specific effects in my mind, i.e., I practiced speaking with results in mind. I learned later in life that a sales presentation is only a speech and a good sales presentation could feed my family. I further understood that if I could eat off a “good” sales presentation, that if I had a “great” sales presentation, not only could I feed my family, but my extended family members as well.

What is going on all over this land is this. People are sitting in board meetings—bored to death. People are sitting in sales meetings—not learning much if anything. People are riding public transportation—not going anywhere fast. People are driving their clunkers—hopeful that the next raise will afford them better transportation. People are sitting in churches receiving new sermons, new messages—but going back home to the same old mess. Motivational speakers are bringing new ideas to their audiences which do not increase their wealth, only the wealth of the lecturer.

The problem is—most people are sitting there, listening, riding, driving, but still living life the same old way when they go home. They go home to that same old rut that is waiting for them. Selling gives everyone an opportunity to help another person by supplying their lives with the benefits of the product or service which they are selling.

Why live life the same old way, at the same old time? Enjoy the many benefits of selling. Selling is for everyone, many do not realize this—everyone sells something when they open their mouths. Do not allow poor habits, bad habits, old habits and other folks habits stop you from benefiting from the success which is yours if you only go out there and work for it. Think of it this way. Your fortune lies in the pockets of another person—go out there and work for what is yours.

Use this book to learn to make a decision which will change your life and the lives of your families by beginning to live life using the sales techniques and approaches found in this book. This will guarantee your success—and get you out of that personal rut, that economic rut, or that employment rut. Apply these sales approaches, closes and sales techniques to improve your daily living with focused personal and business goals.
