Hide not your light under a table, in a basket, or in a box.

You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor so they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.

MATTHEW 5:14-15 (NKJ)

T

he BOX.   Isn’t it interesting how the spirit of the anti-christ tries to get us to box things up? We tend to consciously or sub-consciously put people, places, and things in a box and place a label on that box—whether a Christmas box, an anniversary box, a wedding box, a Valentine’s box, or the all but “infamous,” I can’t hear from God like you hear from God box. This last box is a “doosey.” That is the box that tries to get us to ignore Jesus’ mandate (The Great Commission): Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20 (NKJ)

The sides of these boxes are designed to keep whatever is inside—inside. And the box is designed to keep whatever is inside to remain the same (as it is in that box). If you are, let’s say, a homosexual, the box wants to keep you that way. If you are a Pharisee (or in that spirit), the box wants to keep you hypocritical. If you are hateful or evil, the box will keep you that way or put things in place (in your box world) to maintain your condition, status, or position in the box. The enemies of God in “Box World” have agents or workers like UPS, DHL, or FedX who keep these labeled boxes moving down the conveyor belt of life going where they want them to end up. Not only that, but there are workers in every location imaginable, who will use you when you arrive in your box to keep the evil status quo.

We have to step out of the box that we are in—trapped either by ourselves or one another. What am I saying? Only you can go into the box. If you are an attorney; live as if it is a job. Once you accept it (the job, career, engagement…) as who you are (once it defines you) you now are boxed in—you are now in the box. Once you accept who people say you are or what you believe people are saying you are—you are in that box. An occupation, career, life-goal, or that which you do can allow the enemies of God to lock you in a box. What must define us is God as we receive Him though Christ Jesus, Emmanuel.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16 (NKJ)

Mature in the Word by living the Word.

"Then Satan went out from the presence of the LORD, and struck Job with painful boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head. And he took for himself a potsherd with which to scrape himself while he sat in the midst of the ashes. Then his wife said to him, ‘Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die!’ But he said to her, ‘You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God and shall not accept adversity?’ In all this Job did not sin with his lips."

JOB 2:7-10 (NKJ)

T

o Grow Up in the Word of God-2. Though Job seriously faced and encountered a lot of problems, such as losing all his children and losing all his wealth, he kept on trusting God with his heart to the extent that even his wife advised him to curse God and die. But he refused. Job endured trials and temptations; in all these he didn't sin against God.

One day Job said, "I came into this world with nothing, and I'll go out of it with nothing. The Lord is One who gave me all these children and wealth; and He is the One at the same time who takes them, may His name be glorified.” In his heart, Job determined to die a righteous death. He desired to honour God rather than hearing what his friends and his wife told him. Job understood very well that God is able; he knew that God is the creator of all things. He understood that whatever occurred unto him, God knew them before they came to happen.

Job said good words when he replied to his friends, "For as long as life is in me, and the breath of God is my nostrils, my lips certainly will not speak unjustly, nor will my tongue mutter deceit. Far be it from me that I should declare you right; till I die I will not put away righteousness and will not let it go. My heart does not reproach any of my days.” Job was taught to stand firm in trials and challenges. Though he was affected both spiritually and physically by these troubles, he yet released the belief that there was a hope to restore what the enemy had taken away. Then he said, "For there is hope for a tree, when it is cut down, that it will be sprout again, and its shoots will not fail." Job 14:7

Brethren, it is very important to stick unto Jesus, rather than backsliding today and arise up tomorrow; we have to make up our mind the same way Job did in his days. We have to boldly face the trials and courageously tell them, "Come what may, we never will quit.”

In life, what are we mining? Where does our life energy go?

Why do you make men like fish of the sea, like creeping things that have no ruler over them?

They take up all of them with a hook, they catch them in their net, and gather them in their dragnet.

Therefore they rejoice and are glad. Therefore they sacrifice to their net, and burn incense to their dragnet;

because by them their share is sumptuous and their food plenteous.”

HABAKKUK 1:14-16 (NKJ)

F

orward mining versus backward mining. In life, we are mining, digging ahead, moving forward, making plans for the future, pressing on through adversity: forward mining. Or we are doing nothing, waiting for something to happen, not planning, not writing down our goals, thinking about what could have, should have, and would have happen if only this or that didn’t happen: backward mining.

Forward mining: thinking and planning ahead, positive expectations and perceptions, hope and belief, and a positive focus. In terms of the world: being responsible, eating well, exercising, car insurance, life insurance, and plans for providing food, security, clothing, and education for you, your family, and community. Backward mining: being negative, thinking and/or dwelling on (“nursing”) all or some of the negative events in your life, having negative perceptions, beliefs, and expectations. No one can do anything right because they are seen as wrong—no matter what they do or say, it is wrong.

We have to change our negative outlooks, learn to plan better, or simply to plan. When we fail to plan; we plan to fail. One of the biggest reasons plans fail is because of FTI: the Failure To Implement. In Habakkuk, the LORD says: “…Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NKJ)

Have a positive mental attitude. Create one. Live in it with Christ. “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” Philippians 4:8 (NKJ)

How we live our lives, has an impact on the lives of others.

We are connected to one another as one body.

"Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him.  The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me:

and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy."

JOB 29: 12, 13 (KJV)

Nothing changes until something changes. We may desire for a thing to change, a job to change or us to change; but nothing will change if we continue to do it the same old way. If we keep on eating after 9:00 p.m., we will not lose weight. If we keep using those curse words, we curse others and ourselves. If we keep watching 14 hours of television a week, we will never have time for real people in our homes and in our communities.

Nothing changes if nothing changes. We can continue on the road we are on and continue to watch the destruction of our world, our communities, and our homes; or we can make a change. We are called to be “standards” of God; to make the crooked roads straight, to make wrong things right.

Things change when there is change. Change begins at home, in these bodies. We are the arms and hands of God here on this planet. Let’s be the extension of our Father God while we are in these bodies. We change when we change. People change when they change. Be a change and watch the world change!

To “be” different, we have to “do” differently. To be different, exert energy to think differently, think life. We put energy into getting the way we are, therefore we must put energy to get out of the mess, out of the behavior, which we may find ourselves. We have to start somewhere. Let’s start here. We have to start sometime, let’s start now. Thank you Father God for the understanding. We love you! We love You!! We love You!!!

No matter what accomplishments we make, somebody helped us along our way.

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent:

hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?"

NUMBERS 23:19 (KJV)

Speak blessings into your life today. Speak life. Be positive. We are made in the spiritual image of God, therefore we have the ability to use God’s characteristics which indwell in us. One of these attributes is the power of “emanation.” What we say and what do emanates from us and becomes our reality.

We must speak things as though they are, as opposed to how we want them to be. Example. “I am going to get my book.” We have spoken that we are "going to" get it. We can always be on the way to get it and never get there. “I am trying to lose weight.” “I am fixing to stop watching so much television.” “I will pray for my enemies.” “I’m going to visit old people.”

It is better to say: “I am (action specific) (subject specific), and (time specific; today, Feb. 8th, 2005, etc.). “I am getting my book today.” “I am losing ten pounds by March 15th.” Never say tomorrow, because tomorrow is today. You may say that is just semantics. I say this is your life, this is your future. Speak life. If we are always “going to” get something, we are always heading to get it; going there, on the way, never to arrive.

Webster. Going: A condition influencing process or activities. Doing: Activities or proceedings; behavior, conduct. Going is influence; doing is action. Find new, interesting and biblical ways to say what you want to happen in your life and the lives you touch. The enemies of God and the enemies of the Cross, attempt to use us against ourselves. Words coming out of our mouths is a way the enemies of Christ claim victory in our lives. Not going to, but getting. Not try, but do. Speak life!

Go to church even when your hair is not just right. Go to church when you don’t have offering money.

Go to church in every day clothes. Go to church.

"The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil; he shall preserve thy soul.

The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore."

PSALMS 121: 7, 8 (KJV)

Forgiveness and correction. It is important to understand spiritually the difference between the two. We must forgive individuals, groups, tribes, societies, nations for the injustice, tragedies, pain and suffering which they inflicted upon us.

We must forgive and not forget—but forgive. Remembering helps the incident not to happen again in our lives or in the lives of our children. We forgive, make amends, ask for forgiveness and move on. But before we move on, there must be correction: self-correction, group-correction and spiritual-correction.

We must correct our behavior, our reactions, our thinking concerning the negative aspects of the situation and look for the positive in it. We must correct the behavior, actions, and thinking of the parties concerned so they do not inflict similar negative behavior upon others, our children, or us. We have to look at the situation, the occurrence and see it spiritually. We must see what actually happened, not just what we saw with our physical eyes, but what happened behind the scenes spiritually.

Parents as well as children know if poor behavior or habits are not corrected, the same negative habits and patterns will be repeated again; perpetuating sin. This only benefits the enemies of God. This doesn’t benefit the family, the world family or the Holy Family. Forgiveness and correction are spiritual partners.

Be present with the Lord today! Today is yesterday’s tomorrow.

"I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.

Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live."

PSALMS 116:1, 2 (KJV)

Today is the first day of the rest of your life. I know you have heard that expression. It is important to live today as though tomorrow is not promised to you. Tomorrow is not promised.

You may not see your mother tomorrow. You may not see your father tomorrow. You may not see your child tomorrow. Go to them and make amends. Go to them with your olive leaf and let them know that whatever was an issue before is no longer an issue. You have forgiven them and you have corrected them. Or they have forgiven you and corrected you. Now is the time for the two of you to move forward in the spirit of the Love of God. Accept that which is and know that God is doing a work in their lives even though it may not look like it—God is.

God has heard our prayers, our supplications. He examines our hearts and knows the intentions of our hearts. God and His Holy Family are on the job, 24/7 (twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week). They do not have to sleep, like we do. They are here for us—ask and it shall be given. We must speak the presence of the Holy Family, the Holy Hierarchy into our lives right now.

Ask Emmanuel to ask our Father, Jehovah to wash us in Jesus’ blood, bind a spherical spiritual hedge of protection around us against any evil machinations, give us the mind of Christ, allow the Holy Spirit to indwell in us, allow the Christ to use us and have the Holy Angels to illuminate us with Understanding, Knowledge and Wisdom as they go before us preparing our lives and the lives we touch to execute the Perfect Will of Yahweh. Christ Jesus let it happen right now! Selah!

When you pray for others, your prayers will return to you.

Pray for many, for many have need of prayer.

"Keep yourselves in the love of God,

looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

And of some have compassion, making a difference:"

JUDE 1:21, 22 (KJV)

Multidimensional living. We must learn how to live multidimensionally. We are linear beings living in God’s multidimensional world.

What am I talking about? We are linear beings. We walk in a straight line. We have been programmed to see and hear in a straight pattern. Humankind has created a linear world in which we exist. Roads go straight ahead. Elevators move up and down. Paths and sidewalks are in one direction, except at crossroads. Everything is basically in a row, in line and in linear order. We move forward in a straight process.

We have to live and think multidimensionally in our spirits, in our physical nature. By design we can see 180 degrees and hear in a 360 degrees plus pattern. We must change our thinking from linear thinking to multidimensional thinking. It is often referred to as “thinking outside the box.”

We must think about others besides ourselves and our families. We should think globally. Think decisions/consequences, action/reaction, goals/success, expectation/receiving, we bless others/God blesses us, and serving God/God’s Family serving us. Think past: “Me, myself and I.” and “What can I get God to do for me?” Think what can I do for God? Bless God!

A price is paid for spiritual growth.

We must be willing to receive that which is required for us to grow spiritually.

“The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

PROVERBS 15:3 (KJV)

Dirt - 1. One day I was in a jewelry store to replace a broken clasp (the fastening part of a necklace) on my daughter’s necklace. It was about the size of a third of your pinkie fingernail. I was told I could only get it in 14 carat gold which would cost $10. They made me wait and wait and wait.

While I was waiting, I look at the showcases full of jewelry. $4,000 - $7,000 necklaces, $1,500 rings, all types of gold, $500 watches, diamonds, sapphires, etc. but nothing under $50 that I could see. I was ready to pick up and leave when the Lord spoke to me. He said, “Polished rocks.” I asked, “What?” The Lord said, “You are looking at polished rocks.” I looked around at the gemstones then I heard, “It is all dirt.” I asked, “What?”

By this time I was at the diamond counter. The Lord said, “That is compressed dirt, but it is dirt.” I said, “Oh my goodness, You are right.” I looked at the rubies, the diamonds, the sapphires, and the $7,000 necklaces. Then the Lord said, “Look at what value people place on dirt. It is just dirt.”

I paid $10 for the clasp and walked over to the Christian bookstore where I bought the Logos Bible system of compact discs for $20. That is, I paid $20 for 60 plus books; Bibles, Lexicons, dictionaries, commentaries, etc. The Lord said, “Look where people place their values.” I thought, “People value stuff, more than they value the Word.” Which is more beneficial: spiritual growth or material riches?  Proverbs 8:11.  The Lord placed in my understanding “The Value Makers.” There are those who set the values for society and we buy into those values. Who is setting your values? Whose values are you following?

God is watching and listening to everyone at all times. He doesn’t miss the smallest detail!

“That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing,

being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God:"

COLOSSIANS 1:10 (KJV)

I understand where you are coming from. I get where you coming from sister girl! I know what you mean. I be feelin’ ya brother man! That was whack! I feel you. It is important to make sure we do not give people the wrong impression with these expressions. The impression that we are supporting their position when we are saying these statements when we really don’t agree with them. People may believe that we are affirming their positions when we really want to be left alone.

We can relate to what they are saying but we are really not agreeing. We just want them to get out of our faces with that noise. So what do we do? We say: “I feel you.” “I know what you mean.” “I understand where you are coming from.” Wrong, wrong, wrong. Stand up, speak up and correct, correct, and correct. Tell them what they really need to hear.

Tell them what you really think about what they did. Speak the Bible to them about what happened. If your girlfriend slept with her boyfriend’s brother, tell her how wrong she was. If your homey is stealing money out of his mother’s purse, while she is working that second job and he’s not working at all; let him know that it is wrong. If your boyfriend or live in friend is knocking you around, let them know it is wrong and call the police! Straighten your life out! Straighten their lives out!

Make an effort to communicate to individuals who are venting and expressing their opinions to let them know what you really think, how you really feel about what they are saying. Let them know definitely whether you believe their position or if they are moving like a snake.

Spiritual warriors must take new spiritual territory.

"Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this,

To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction,

and to keep himself unspotted from the world."

JAMES 1:27 (KJV)

Dirt - 2.  I left the jewelry store where I purchased a tiny $10, 14-carat gold clasp for my daughter’s necklace. In the nearby Christian bookstore, I purchased a 60-plus book Bible study system for $20. The Lord placed “The Value Makers” in my understanding. Individuals, systems, principalities in life who set up values, which we adhere to or not, are the value makers in societies, in our communities. We buy into the value.

When I got to the counter I said to the cashier, “You have some nice watches here, but those watches in that jewelry store were very expensive.” His reply was, “You know they must be really nice.” I replied, “But they keep the same time.” Then I heard my grandmother’s voice, “Why would anybody buy a watch with a battery when all you have to do is wind it up?” The value makers. Some of you remember the “wind up” wristwatches. Our children don’t.

On the way home, a song came on the radio. “Silver and gold, silver and gold, Lord I love you more than silver and gold.” The Lord spoke to me and said, “Listen to them, they are telling me that they love me more than dirt.” I hear that song with different ears now. Look where we have placed our values.

When I got home the Lord said, “Look out the window.” I looked out the window. I said, “All I see are trees, grass, the street, the sidewalk, the driveway…” The Lord asked, “What are they made of?” I asked, “Dirt?” “Yes, dirt. Now look around in the house.” I asked, “Dirt?” He said, “Yes. All of this is made from dirt. Look at the value man has placed on dirt.” I thought cars, houses, boats, television, furniture, computers, things; it all comes from dirt. The "value makers."

W-O-R-K is the secret to success.

Success is the application of spiritual principles at work.

"If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:"

ISAIAH 1:19 (KJV)

Mode of operation. Look around. Watch how the world is operating. Watch how the person with whom you work and interact is operating. They are using a specific mode of operation. People do certain things, specific ways. If they are not doing things a specific, routine way, they may be operating in a disorganized way; that is their mode of operation.

People tend to bump heads because of their differing modes of operation. In relationships people have conflict with one another because people operate differently from one another. People have different expectations than one another. A person may expect one type of behavior and get another. The other person may not know what the expected response is supposed to be based on a specific given action. When they get a negative response because of what they did or didn’t do, they don’t really know what the deal is; why the other person is upset.

Your mode of operation may be foreign to the mode of operation of others. They may wait to the last minute to do a job, while you do it as soon as you get the assignment. You may want to come early to a meeting to sit relax, think about the meeting, what you will say and what will be said. Your counterpart or supervisor may want to come fashionably late to show how much work they have and how precious their time is; when in actuality they are sending a different message.

Conflict occurs when we don’t get the expected behavior from others based on our specific action. We all operate in specific modes of operation which impact others as well as ourselves. Recognize modes of operation and get them parallel instead of perpendicular so we move smoother along the path of life.

Through fellowship and relationship with one another, we experience relationship and fellowship with Christ.

"Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies,

and the God of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God."

2 CORINTHIANS 1:3 (KJV)

Dirt - 3. There are four main elements of our physical world: earth, wind, fire and water. They are often used as a medium for the wrath of God. They are also mediums to receive the miraculous physical manifestations of God’s awesome nature. They help to activate God’s nature in us.

Look around and notice whether you have touched the ground today. Be aware. Have you walked on the grass? On the dirt today? Yesterday? Have you? Think about it. We can leave the house, get in the car, go to work, work all day, leave the job and go home and never touch the earth. The earth is one of the largest creations, which God has made in His Infinite Wisdom. It is therefore not just something that we are connected to by gravity. It is a God creation, something to behold; to utilize.

We must touch this miraculous physical manifestation of God. It is akin to a mother touching her newborn baby. The earth heals us. The earth acts as a ground for our negative energy. Leave your shoes on, but get off the sidewalk, walk on the grass--on the earth. The enemies of God do not want us to walk on the earth. Spinning over 1,500 miles an hour, trees collect energy and send it into the earth—grounding it. We can ground our negative energy by walking on the earth, in the park, working in the garden, or doing yard work. We can receive healing of our physical bodies if we touch the earth regularly. We come from the earth and when we die we go back to the earth. Shouldn’t we enjoy, touch, put our hands and feet on the earth while we live? Be comforted now by God’s earth! Selah!

PEACE

Release God’s Presence in your life by understanding His Word.

“Then Satan went out from the presence of the LORD,

and struck Job with painful boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.”

JOB 2:7 (NKJ)

T

o Grow Up in the Word of God-3.  I want you to understand these:

a) We must be PERSUADED that God is in control of the timing and intensity of our trials.

b) We must RELEASE that God has a specific purpose for each trial in life;

c) We must UNDERSTAND that each trial is designed to meet a specific need that God sees in our lives;

d) We must ACCEPT/EXPECT the result to be for our own good if we respond in faith;

e) We must DISCOVER how each trial can strengthen our faith by proving that we can depend on the Lord for all of our needs;

f) We must REJOICE in that each trial is an opportunity for God to demonstrate his power to sustain us under tremendous pressure.

Brothers and sisters, let us stand firm, Jesus is our captain. He is Commander in Chief. Stop looking at your weakness. Let us march forward. Remember what Jesus told  to His disciples when He was ascending to His Father.  "I have been given the power on the earth and Heaven, go and preach the gospel, I'll be with you." Matthew 28:18-19

We have the victory in the name of Jesus. Let us set a good example. There is a great reward that is waiting for us on that day. When we will reach Heaven, there will be rewards for these things we did while we were here on the earth. Everybody will receive a crown. That is what the apostle Paul told the church of Thessalonica: "We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brethren, as is only fitting, because your faith is greatly enlarged, and the love of each one you toward one another grows ever greater. Therefore, we ourselves speak proudly of you among the churches of God for your perseverance and faith in the midst of all your persecutions and afflictions which you endure." 2 Thessalonians 1:3-4

Come on, and let us grow up in the spirit, if we abide in the word of God and allow the Holy Spirit to work in us, certainly it will be easy to do the Will of God.

GROW IN GOD’S SPIRIT AND GOD’S WORD

Our action is our fruit, not our money. Miracles live in our action.

“Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink: I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me: I was in prison and you came to Me.’”

MATTHEW 25:34-36 (NKJ)

A

ngels illuminated me this morning with this. I, like you, look for the manifestation of speaking in tongues for the evidence of the reception (a person receiving) the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit. I was believing that my spirituality was defined by, my living like a true Christian was evidenced by the physical manifestation of the Holy Spirit. That is not the answer to: “You will know them by their fruit.” Matthew 7:17-20 (NKJ)

Money cannot get us into Heaven. Fruit is not our money. Our money cannot act as fruit.. Only the efforts of our labor are fruit: “the fruit of our labor.” Yes, children are fruit; the fruit of sexual labor, child birth labor, and God’s Miracle Power. Fruit is the physical manifestation of our actions. At church when the Holy Spirit comes in and everyone is having a great time in the Spirit jumping, shouting, throwing up their hands, and having a wonderful time in the LORD; this is not fruit. It is wonderful; I do it and love doing it. They are signs: Mark 16:17-18.  I am not talking about spiritual fruit outlined in Galatians 5. Remember, Jesus didn’t give the people His money, He gave them Himself. Christ Jesus is our example; we must give of ourselves to others on the behalf of Christ.

Let me get back on track. Put simply, our fruit is working and helping the old and infirm, the sick and shut-in, the homeless, the poor, the orphans and widows, the naked and hungry, those in prison, and spreading the Gospel to the entire world. When the rich man asked Jesus what to do to get into Heaven, Jesus didn’t say, “Oh, you got to be speaking in tongues and have the Holy Spirit before you can get into the pearly gates.” (Matthew 19:16-23)

The evidence for the manifestation of the Holy Spirit is working in the world community to express the Compassion of Christ. The Compassion of Christ is not speaking in tongues, interpreting, shouting, and prophesying. That is the Joy of the Lord. “For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Hebrews 6:10-12 (NKJ)

What do you think is your purpose for being here?

“Even the righteousness of God which is through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all who believe.

For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

ROMANS 3:22-24 (NKJ)

O

ur purpose for being here. From the beginning of time, according to the Bible, life was meant to be a richly satisfying experience. The purpose of life even included friendship with God Himself. God created man and woman to enjoy His friendship in a perfect world of love and trust.

I learned from the Bible that God created mankind in His own image. “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” Genesis 1:27 (NKJ) He shared with them attributes which were similar to His own—conscience, personality, and the ability to choose.

Our purpose for being here is to serve God. “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Mark 8:36 (KJV) Give your life to Jesus right now and He will forgive your sins. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 (NKJ) He is faithful and just to forgive our sins. “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9 (NKJ)

If you believe, please say this prayer by faith and you will be saved: Lord Jesus, I admit I have sinned against You many times in my life. I’m convinced that Jesus died in my place and took the judgment for sin that I deserved. I accept Your offer of forgiveness. I want the new life Jesus promises to those who believe in Him. Thank You Jesus for saving me.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 (KJV)  Welcome to the Family.

Life offers many choices. Our choices show the direction of our spiritual lives.

Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies,

it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. He who loves his life will lose it,

and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

JOHN 12:24-25 (NKJ)

E

TERNAL LIFE or eternal death? The choice is yours, mine, and ours. Choice has been given to us by God. The world looks to be going to “hell in a hand basket” at a time when there are more churches than ever before and when there are mega-churches sprinkling the global landscape.  What is wrong with this picture? We must be doing something incorrectly for the enemies of God and man to be victorious in the lives of God’s Saints around the world. We have to look for God’s “new thing” and follow the Words and Teachings of Christ Jesus: God’s “New Thing.”

Are you a believer in Christ Jesus? Demons believe in Him. Do you believe in God? Satan does that too. Are you a follower of Jesus Christ—or of Paul or Solomon or David or another Bible legend? Jesus gave us a simple declaration: go. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJ)  Go teach, preach, heal the sick, help the orphans, the widows, the naked, the hungry, the sad, the downtrodden, prisoners, and bring the kingdom of God into their lives so they may believe in Me and have eternal life and happiness with the Father.

“Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, ‘Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?’” Luke 18:18  Jesus had some things to say, then said this: “…Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” Luke 18:22 (NKJ)  Jesus did not tell him or us to only throw our money at the poor. He said to go and share your life and His Love with His Children (not only Christians, but Jews, Hindus, Muslims…, all people). “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:3-4 (NKJ)

Now, if there is a remote possibility that eternal life exists in Christ Jesus, then don’t you think it would be wise to take the opportunity to investigate the possibilities?  Eternity is a very long time. Think about it. Life is precious.

You are God's special gift to our world.

Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east,

and gather thee from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back:

bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;

od's special gift. I feel great to welcome you to this New Year. I hope that you landed safely. Congratulations for making it. Many lost out of this physical world in the past year, but here you are kicking. Welcome friend, your presence here (on earth) is enough proof that God still has a lot to do in you, with you, and through you.

There will be a serious imbalance in our world without you in the now. You are a special piece created to impact positively on our world. There is a precious deposit on your inside. You are God's prime investment. You are so unique that none can fill your place. It does not matter what people have said about you. It does not even matter what situations have made you to think about yourself. What matters is God’s opinion.

He said that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” Psalm 139:14 (KJV)

You are created for His glory. Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him; yea, I have made him.” Isaiah 43:7

He said that you are His own. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.” John 15:16 (NKJ)

You are God's special gift to our world. You are here on assignment. There is someone somewhere who is waiting for you to manifest. There is a situation somewhere that is waiting for you as its answer. There is a problem somewhere that is waiting for you as its solution. Our world is placing a demand on you to release those potentials on your inside.

Emmanuel, Christ Jesus is with you right now. Speak to Him.

“And every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God.

And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.”

1 JOHN 4:3 (NKJ)

A

ntichrist – 1a. Jesus was a flesh man. The spirit of the anti-christ is huge and is doing a great disservice to mankind and the Kingdom of Christ in many ways. One of its goals is to take our focus off of CHRIST. I said Christ, not Jesus. Remember, it is the spirit of the anti-CHRIST (Christ: the Anointed One of God), NOT the spirit of the anti-JESUS (Jesus: a man like you and I born of the flesh, but for the Immaculate Conception), but could be called the anti-EMMANUEL (God is with us: the name God gave His Son).

Jesus is the Anointed One of God (the Christ, the Messiah, our Saviour, our Redeemer) The way salvation works for us is that Emmanuel Jesus, who was a person born in the flesh of the spirit was without sin. “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.” Hebrews 4:15 (NKJ)  We needed Jesus, who was bearing the Christ (the SPIRIT of GOD within Him) to be without sin, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 (NKJ) If Jesus had sinned, then satan would have won that round of the battle in the spiritual war and God would have tried another way to redeem men. But blessed are we to have Jesus (Iesous, Yehoshua, Eashoa) who was without sin.

There are those who would have you to believe that Jesus was with God in the beginning of time, at Creation. There are those who say Jesus showed up in biblical history as: Adam, Joshua, Melchizedek (Hebrews 7; the King of Salem; Jesus Christ being the King of Jeru (new) salem), Daniel, and Elijah. I am not going to debate any of those issues, but to say Jesus was a flesh man born of a flesh woman with the intervention of the Holy Spirit  (Matthew 1:20).

The anti-christ does not want you to know this. Christ, the Anointed One of God (the same Who was residing in Jesus is Who was with God at Creation).  Fleshly Jesus could not have been because:

1) Jesus had not been born yet;

2) If the fleshly Jesus crossed those types of spiritual boundaries, i.e., when tempted by satan, thrown Himself off the temple, or transcend millennia as a flesh person, He would have been cheating the spiritual laws.

3) The Spiritual Laws cannot be broken. We all play within their boundaries, even God, because He is the One Who set them up.

Jesus had to be in the flesh to secure our eternal lives and He had to be in the form of a human to secure our salvation. Humans did not exist until the sixth day of Creation. God and Christ existed well before Creation ever did.

Our obedience to the Word is key to the salvation of the world.

“When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the latter days,

when you turn to the LORD your God and obey His voice (for the LORD your God is a merciful God),

He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them.”

DEUTERONOMY 4:30-31 (NKJ)

O

bedience -1. I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and hope this devotional make a change in your life and increase you in the faith and in your relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. We have been given the opportunities to make a commitment to God, but I say to you, it is the time to obey the Lord. The commitment is to obey the Lord. It is very important to obey the Lord when He speaks because for each time we disobey the Word of God there is a curse that is placed upon us.

“And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. Then it shall be, if you by any means forget the LORD your God, and follow other gods, and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish. As the nations which the LORD destroys before you, so you shall perish, because you would to be obedient to the voice of the LORD your God.” Deuteronomy 8:18-20 (NKJ)

This the time, today, for us to reconcile with our Lord from when we have disobeyed Him, so that the curse can be broken. Because there may not be time to reconcile. As in the case of the lady, Jesus met at the well. (John 4) He told her all her sins. She had to reconcile and live a new life. But I say to us, if we do not obey, we will not always have the time to reconcile after our disobedience.

We see in the situation with Jonah in the book of Jonah 1:1-5; 10:12. We also see in the book of 1 King 13:8-10; 21-24. The disobedience of the new prophet led to his death. It is important to always obey God's Word when He speaks. We also see Abraham’s obedience had been a great blessing to mankind. We see Abraham being blessed by God because he obeyed when God told him to sacrifice his only son (Isaac). Abraham did not disobey God. He did not complain or argue with God. He obeyed and he was blessed and we are also enjoying his blessings today.

OBEDIENCE IS A KEY TO LIFE

We must seek the Christ to live in us for the full manifestation of healing and miracles.

"Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh they dwelling.

For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways."

PSALM 91: 9-11 (KJV)

The face of evil - 1. The enemies of God would have us to believe that evil approaches us and attacks us like the evil, demonic, grotesque images which are projected daily by television and video games into our households. The enemies of the Cross would have us believe that when evil attacks we will see it coming and it will look so repulsive that we can immediately recognize it and know it is from hell and fight it.

When we get an angry boss in our faces, a person with a negative attitude, or a child with negative behavior moving in our direction; ask this question: “Is this like Jesus?” “Is this behavior, or speech God-like?” Now if it is not like God or Christ-like, then what is it like? There are negative and positive forces at work in the world. Is that which stands before you positive or negative? If it is negative then it is imperative that we move against it like it is an attack from the enemies of God.

Pray against it. Bind it. You can use the Black Blob Prayer. Watch the negative energy dissipate before you. We are spiritual vessels and as such can and will be embodied by the spiritual forces we allow into us by our actions and words; they open spiritual doors to allow negative spirits into our lives. Imagine a person lies; a lying spirit comes into their lives—and deception too. A person lusts, then a lustful spirit. In “all you can eat” restaurants, look for a spirit of gluttony. What we do opens spiritual doors into our lives, for spiritual entities to visit our lives, the lives we touch, our communities and our world.

When you receive a child, your reward will be great in heaven.

“And Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said,

‘Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children,

you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.’

MATTHEW 18:2-3 (NKJ)

B

e Obedient. I am Magarate Dagbe: 12 years old. I am so grateful for the Children for Christ Ministries taking me from the streets and providing free education for me and my many friends. I have learned since being part of this ministry that it is important to be obedient. It is because of obedience from people who believe in God that this ministry has established a school and has been doing a lot of good things for my friends and I. (Ephesians 6:1-2)

Give Thanks In Everything. I am Joseph Sackie: 12 years old and in the 3rd grade. Is it a blessing for us as believers to be doing harm to the others? Thanks to God Almighty for the wonderful things He has done, by connecting me to the Children for Christ Ministries. They have since been a blessing to me. I have learned to give thanks to God for everything. Things had been so bad with me, picking up things from the streets to eat, not having foot wear, clothes; but thank God for this Ministry. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)  “Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:4

My name is Annie Bemah. I am 16 years of age and in the 5th grade.  Thank God for Uncle Sylvester who had been talking to me to trust God and give Him thanks for everything and He invited me to Bible study. And today I am going to free school. Copies of books and pens are all given to me free. I now know and believe that it is very important to give God thanks in everything. (Ephesians 5:20)

My name is Felecia Lincoln. I am 13 years of age and in the K-II.  My parents can’t make it to send me to school, but thank God for the Children for Christ Ministries. I got to know about them by one of the fathers in our yard. That’s how I started going to Bible study and I am now in school. Besides schooling us, they sometimes help us with clothes, copy books and that alone makes me understand the teaching of giving thanks to God for everything.

“And whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.” Matthew 18:5 (NKJ)

As spiritual warriors we must free ourselves from any past, present or future bondage.

"And above all things have fervent love for one another, for 'love will cover a multitude of sins.'

Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. As each one has received a gift,

minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God."

1 PETER 4: 8-10 (NKJV)

The face of evil - 2. The enemies of Christ, the enemies of God Almighty have been here on earth for a very long time and are very cunning and effective in their battle against us. They will almost never reveal to us what they really look like because we would realize that they are really real. Then we would start acting like spiritual warriors to defend our families and our homes and our communities from a hoard of demonic entities. (Romans 8:38)

The enemies of the Most High God are going to try and slither and snake into our lives. They have been exposed to the Word, the Bible for centuries and therefore may be able to quote scripture better than you or I. So it is important to study the Word of God, remember scripture, learn how and ask Jesus to teach us to activate the ingrafted Word, (James 1:21) which dwells in us. We want to know the Word so they cannot use it against us. (James 1:22)

When we are on the verge of a breakthrough, the enemies of God will approach us to defeat us and to get us to turn negative. To get us to view life or the situation negatively. To move us to disbelieve the Word, to disbelieve what God has spoken into our lives in accordance with His Word for His Creation.

The enemies of God will usually initially do a frontal attack—that is someone right up in your face. If you do not handle the frontal attack properly, it will be followed by another and yet another, until we are either defeated or learn to be successful in how we handle the frontal attack. See the attack as it really is, not what Hollywood has contrived for our imaginations.

Disobedience is surely a path to failure. Be strong in your obedience.

“And your sons shall be shepherds in the wilderness forty years, and bear the brunt of your infidelity, until your carcasses are consumed in the wilderness. According to the number of the days in which you spied out the land, forty days, for each day you shall bear your guilt one year, namely forty years, and you shall know your guilt one year, namely forty years, and you shall know My rejection. I the LORD have spoken this; I will surely do so to all this evil congregation who are gathered together against Me. In this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.”

NUMBERS 14:33-35 (NKJ)

O

bedience - 2.

Look in the book of Numbers 14:24 -45, the children of Israel disobeyed God when He told them to go spy the route they were to use to go to the Promised Land. They refused saying that they couldn't make it. And God cursed them by putting sickness on them. God also punished the older ones from 20 years and above that they where going to stay in the wilderness for forty years and they were not going to see the Promised Land.

Also in the book 1 Kings 13:8-10, 12 that disobedience brought a curse upon the new prophet that led to his death. Note: the times you obey the Word of God, there are breakthroughs in your life. I almost fell victim to a curse because of disobedience. The Spirit of God spoke to me one night concerning two girls that had serious stomach pain. He told me that I must pray for them. I was complaining that I was tired and I told the girls that they should be patient, that their day would soon break, (daybreak was soon coming as well as their breakthrough).

Not knowing the pain the girls were going through, God still spoke to me to pray for them immediately. And I tell you when I obeyed the LORD, the children’s stomach pain stop instantly. And so brothers and sisters, it is very important that we obey God's Word so that we can be blessed and also be a blessing to others.

We are all family. Love one another.

"Moreover the profit of the earth is for all: the king himself is served by the field.

He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase:

this is also vanity."

ECCLESIASTES 5:9-10 (KJV)

Get in the trenches. Dr. A. C. Brown says, “We have got to get in the trenches.” I agree with him. We as Christians, as Muslims, as Buddhists, as naturalists, as whatever we are and claim to be, must take responsibility not only for ourselves but reach down and lend a hand to someone. We are not talking about throwing your money around at something, giving your money to somebody; we are talking about getting down and getting your hands dirty by getting into the trenches and giving someone a helping hand. Jesus didn’t pass out silver and gold.

When we lend a helping hand to someone, we are really helping Jesus. We are helping the spirit of God in them to be activated. In activating the spirit of God in them, we enhance, empower, and grow the spirit of God in us. You want to grow spiritually? Help someone! You want to please God! Help someone! You want the riches and glory prosperity preachers preach--help somebody! You want to be like Jesus—help somebody now!

Jesus has prepared the trenches for us to get into. We just have to get into them and fight the enemies of God and not let them overrun our camps. Look around—help someone! People who are in need are everywhere. We have been given easy access to people in need. God has grouped them for us so we have no excuses. They’re all around us in hospitals, prisons, rest homes, homeless shelters, unwed mothers homes, rehabilitation centers, recovery homes, neighbors and the elderly couple in the block.

Dr. A. C. Brown says, “The way to get God’s attention is to go out there and do the work of Jesus!” Along with our church work we have to walk the walk of Jesus, not just talk the talk!

Do you want to know the secret things? Do you want more revelation?

Do you want to do mighty things? “Call to Me and I will answer you.

Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden,

which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand).”

JEREMIAH 33:3 (Message Bible)

T

hings we know not. God wants to give us revelation as He did for Daniel. Daniel called upon the Lord and He answered. The King’s dream was fenced in known to no one BUT God gave revelation. God wants us to be a people to whom He can give revelation. “He reveals the deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him!” Daniel 2:22 (Message)

The secret of Daniel’s life was his prayer. How easy it is to do anything rather than pray. We can be so busy doing! Good things, even God’s things, but we miss the mark, we miss the prize. The prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus, that of knowing and being intimately acquainted with the Lord Jesus. This intimate relationship with the Lord causes us not just to know Him, but to do the things He did. Mighty acts. Daniel’s life brought forth the mighty. A mighty God delivered Him from the lion’s den. A mighty God subdued the lions. A mighty God gave him the answers for the King.

When we know the One who tell us the secret things that One begins to do those mighty things through us. I was in Cuba, I called unto the Lord and He showed me to speak the Blood of Jesus over the people who came for prayer. As I called on the Lord in obedience, speaking  the Blood they were healed, delivered and set free. There was great power.

One day there was the prayer meeting where I could only call on the Blood and Name of Jesus, as there was no interpreter and all day from 9am till 4pm, I prayed for the church people and did not know anything about them. They were healed and delivered; lives were transformed because I called! When we call, He will answer. Call on Him today.

A women came to the church and testified, “Pastor, you know I am a communist woman and don’t believe! When I was prayed for I woke on the concrete floor and it felt like I was floating on a bed of soft down and now I am so changed.”

Pray with me now: Father, I love you. I’m calling on you now. Please come to me that I may know you more. Please Father, show Your Love and mighty Power in my life. Lord, I’m paying attention to what You are going to reveal to me. Lord I am waiting for Your announcement and revelations. Thank You that You are a faithful Father Who loves to give good gifts to us, Your children.

Christ is LORD in the flesh. Jesus is the Christ and He can live in you.

“And every spirit that confesseth not the Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God:

and this is the spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have hear that it should come;

and even now already is it in the world.”

1 JOHN 4:3 (KJV)

A

ntichrist – 2a. One morning I was watching a Christian television interview show. The host said she had been listening to a Christian radio show which was discussing the merits of church leadership being overly affluent (she did use those words), living decadent lives well above average means. She said that they questioned whether Bishops, Pastors, or Ministers should own Bentley’s ($250,000), Mercedes, $5 million dollar homes (in which only one or two families live), and the like. She said that it was okay because they were serving the people. She thought and thinks that it is okay---her thinking and their living. She said that is what I think and what I believe.

In life, in all things, examine what the Bible says. More importantly, what did/does God say and what does Jesus say about it? God’s Word is timeless. Another thing to look at, the person in the Bible to look at and follow is Jesus, the Christ—Who is our example. People often look at the conniving Jacob before and after his change, or Solomon before his fall into idolatry, and the Hebrew priests of old who forgot/lost God’s Holy Living Name, living pharisaical, religious, tradition-filled, “country club” lives which focused on themselves, evidenced by their possessions. What possessions did Jesus own? Worship? Love more than people? Place before God? Spend the most time?

Any one, any action, event, place, speech, oration, or any thing which takes your focus, your energy, your life away from God and His Son Jesus can lead to, can be, and probably is idolatrous and in the spirit of the antichrist. Jesus said to His disciples (of which you are one): “…Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” Matthew 19:23-24 (NKJ)

Three keys here:

1) When you see “assuredly” that is representative of an absolute;

2) He did not say the rich could not make it, but it would be difficult;

3) A focus on riches is in the spirit of the antichrist.

When we focus on Christ and the Work of Christ, riches do not envelop our lives. We become enveloped in riches and the desire for riches when they become our focus. When we focus on Christ and begin to do the Work as He did when He walked the earth, we become enveloped in Christ. Then the impossible becomes possible.

The enemies of God and man are attacking and killing our children.

“And He took a little child, and put him in the center of their group; and taking him in [His] arms, He said to them, Whoever in My name and for My sake accepts and receives and welcomes one such child, also accepts and receives and welcomes Me; and whoever so receives Me, receives not only Me, but Him Who sent Me.

MARK 9:36-37 (AMP)

T

he Value of a Child.  Your biggest investment may be helping a little child. The Bible gives us advice for how to bring them up. “Train up a child in the way he should go [and in keeping with his individual gift or bent], and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6 (AMP)

But in discipling them, it must be done in an atmosphere of love. “Fathers, do not irritate and provoke your children to anger—do not exasperate them to resentment—but rear them [tenderly] in the training and discipline and the counsel and admonition of the Lord.” Ephesians 6:4 (AMP)

“But as for you, continue to hold to the things that you have learned and of which you are convinced, knowing from whom you learned [them], and how from your childhood you have had a knowledge of and been acquainted with the sacred writings which are able to instruct you and give you the understanding for salvation which comes through faith in Christ Jesus [that is, through the leaning of the entire human personality on God in Christ Jesus in absolute trust and confidence I His power, wisdom and goodness]. 2 Timothy 3:15 (AMP)

As parents, we should show our children love and care for them in the way God instruct us to bring them up. “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: and thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy CHILDREN, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.” Deuteronomy 6:5 (KJV)

God is moving on our prayers all the time.

"The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the LORD upholdeth him with his hand."

PSALMS 37: 23, 24 (KJV)

Connections - 1. The enemies of the Almighty God, Jehovah want to keep our focus off of God, Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Family. As Pastor Nikola Dimitrov of Bulgaria reiterates, “distractions are our enemy.” Distractions and a redirection of our focus can come in the guise of possessions. Let’s say it is winter and we are outside with our heavy coat. We have a strong connection with that coat when we are outside. When inside and warm, our connection with that coat doesn’t seem as strong—but it is. Think conscious (awake), unconscious (asleep) and sub-conscious (always in operation; like our autonomic system--breathing, heartbeat, etc.)

When we have a fabulous house, a new car or a $500 watch, we are connected to those things. When we share the fact that we have these things or we show them off, we feel a strong connection with them at that moment. The strength of that connection, at that level doesn’t diminish, it just goes underground into our unconscious minds, working in our sub-conscious and having an effect until the next “show off” moment where we feel the power of it. You may be innocent as innocent can be, but stuff (materialism) is having its effect.

Materialism causes separation from the God Family. Our focus is more on taking care of our “stuff” than on God’s people, God’s business. Our focus is on getting more “stuff” than on our fellowship with God and reading His Word (Bible). Know this. Our connections impact one another. Our connections with “stuff” impacts our connections with people, with our spirituality, our peace, our joy, our desire, our families, etc. Make sure you have the right connections in your life!

We got to believe from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet.

"In God is my salvation and my glory:

the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him:

God is a refuge for us. Selah."

PSALMS 62: 7, 8 (KJV)

The Christ - 1. Many people say that “Christ” is just a title for Jesus. The anointed one of the LORD is the Christ. As I search for the mysteries of God, I asked the Holy Spirit which is always with us to help me understand the issue with the Christ.

I began to wonder what was the full name of Jesus. What was Jesus’ name? What was His surname, His last name? Many people refer to Jesus as Jesus Christ, as though Christ is His last name. Christ is not the earthly last name of Jesus. Jesus grew up in a traditional Hebrew family and as such had names like those used by Hebrews during the times in which He lived.

The LORD allowed me to understand that Jesus is a physical being, a flesh man and that “the Christ” is a spiritual, supernatural being. Coming through the lineage of David in the tribe of Judah, Jesus was prepared from before birth to receive his Kingship as the Messiah of all known and unknown worlds. Jesus was a man who being perfectly prepared and divinely purposed, was able to receive “the Christ” in the form of a dove, when He was baptized in the Jordan river. Jesus being a flesh man, who knew no sin, was able to become the physical embodiment of God united in the flesh with “the Christ”.

Jesus, a man with the “Christ” indwelling, could do miracles, healings, and perform the perfect will of God in Spirit and in Truth. Like Jesus, we have to be as perfect as we can be and seek the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the Christ, so we can have the physical manifestations of His Glory in His Creation.

Stop the fiery darts from the enemies of God with discernment. Monitor your words.

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee:

for my strength is made perfect in weakness.

Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities,

that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

2 CORINTHIANS 12:9 (KJV)

No barriers. The only barrier between Heaven and us is ourselves! What lies between you and Heaven is "self". Only “self” can stop our salvation. The enemies of God, the devil, his family and friends cannot stop you even though they try!

They get us to create barriers in our lives, which hinder our spiritual growth and separate us from God and His Promises. Only we can stop ourselves from entering into the Promised Land. Our “flesh” is the vehicle on which the barrier “self” travels. Jesus, the Christ conquered that “flesh” barrier for us.

Nothing and no one can stand between God and us; not your brother, your mother, no one and nothing. The only thing that can stand between God and us is ourselves. The only thing, which can keep you out of Heaven, is you. We can be and often are our own worst enemies when we allow the enemies of God to prevail in our lives to our detriment and to the detriment of others. The enemies of Christ attempt to use us and our God-like qualities, which are an innate part of our beings to prevail against us. The enemies of God attack us, attempting to turn our minds, bodies and spirits against the power of God in us; to turn us against ourselves, individually and systematically.

Self can accept into our lives: unforgiveness of ourselves or others, a lack of faith, fear, our desire, focus on that big new house, or to be in the $100,000 club etc. These things can act as barriers. We must not allow that which has impacted our lives negatively to allow our minds to be polluted with iniquity. We must keep our hearts, minds and souls focused on the Lord.

JESUS LOVE MINISTRIES

Pastors Paul and Joseph Chapala and fellow workers at the Jesus Christ Prayer Church are  walking house to house sharing the Gospel of Christ in our slums and rural, remote areas where the Gospel has never been proclaimed. Jonnada - 533 233; E.G.DT. Andhra Pradesh, India

Giving Clothes to Flood Victims

We have no affiliations with any other organization though we are  teaching Bible classes and are involved in Christian and social work  by the Grace of God.  We  assist many  poor people who are  affected by the cyclones and floods which hit the Andhra Pradesh region. Thousands are displaced when these disasters hit. Please help us in assessing short- and long-term ways to help these people. We also rescue children from the perils of the trash and garbage piles and the dangers of living on the street. Pastor Paul can be reached at:  Chapala2001@rediffmail.com
