Where is your aim in life? What target are you trying to hit?

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”

REVELATION 21:1-2 (KJV)

The beautiful houses, cars, gold, silvers, diamonds, and other earthy things is yet to be seen. How wonderful and great the new Heaven will look. Why are we searching for beautiful things while our God told us that He has many great things for us. Let us worship God and obey Him and all will be well with us. “And Jesus said unto him, “No man, having put his hand to the plow, looking back is fit for the kingdom of God.”” Luke 9.62 (NIV) To enjoy what God has given us, we must surrender from under the power of our sins and be ready to follow God and leave everything in our agenda. We must turn our agenda over to God.

“For I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: and though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another though my reins be consumed within me.” Job 19:25-27 (KJV)

Nothing is as good as to worship God and keep the Commandments so that we may live in Heaven and enjoy life with our lovely Father. No matter who you are, one day you will die and after death is Judgment. It is a joyful thing if our brothers and sisters die in Christ; but it is regrettable if our beloved do not die with Jesus because no soul will meet the LORD with sin. “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:” John 11:25

In this our modern world, no soul will say he doesn’t know about JESUS or the words of GOD. Any soul that dies with sin and goes to hell fire has no one to blame. Time is never too late for you to repent and focus all your aim to Jesus because one day you must die. Don’t keep riches in the world; rather keep riches in Heaven because the world is not our home, one day we will die. The love and promises of God for us will be wonderful and full of enjoyment in God. How beautiful our homes in Heaven will be for us!

It’s interesting that everywhere in the Bible the Lord called Himself the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. There’s a richness of revelation in this and many spiritual parallels that can be drawn.

“Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father,

the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.”
EXODUS 3:6
(KJV)

Abraham is the father of faith. He is God’s pioneer showing us that we must always have faith, even to the point of leaving the old things behind and moving completely by faith into the new territories the Lord has for us. God is a God of faith; we are encouraged to have faith in God (or as the original Greek puts it in Mark 11:22, the faith of God), and Hebrews 11:6 tells us that it is impossible to please God without faith.

Isaac is a symbol of obedience to God and to the natural and spiritual authority the Lord has placed over us. Isaac was so obedient that even when he found out that he was to be the sacrificial lamb, he was willing to obey God and his father, even to the point of death. Obedience is better than sacrifice. (1 Samuel 15:22)

Jacob is an example of repentance, humility, and crushing of our self-centeredness. He had tried it all his way first (and did obtain the blessing of his father by deception), but he knew it was not right in the eyes of God. So, he humbled himself before the Lord and sought the Lord’s real blessing, which he did receive. This time it came not through deception, but through transformation of his character – from Jacob (a deceiver) to Israel (a Prince with God – Genesis 32:28).

The natural seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob was Joseph, who ministered God’s salvation in the time of natural hunger upon the face of the whole Earth. Spiritually speaking, if we combine God’s faith, obedience to God (even to the point of being willing to die for Him), repentance, humility and crushing of our self-centeredness, what will come out will be people that will bring God’s salvation to this spiritually hungry world in which we are living.

There is opportunity and hope in the action following missed opportunities.

“Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.”

COLOSSIANS 4:5 (NIV)

M

issed Opportunity. No regret is greater than that from a missed opportunity. Unfortunately, life often brings missed opportunities like the birth of a dear child, Christmas morning away from home, Thanksgiving alone, or any great life moment or anything like that which is important to our life—missed—gone forever. No need to make up for lost time—start where you are now, forgetting those things behind. “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,” Philippians 3:13 (NKJ)

However, nothing compares to the missed opportunity to change another person’s eternal destiny. We never know how the seemingly nominal person sitting next to us on the train, bus, plane, or in a restaurant one day might affect the world for Christ—if only we had said something. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJ)

Equally there are the possibilities that breaking our detour is a determined Christian opponent—evil—keeping us from making a detour for Christ in our lives. You may count many missed opportunities for the gospel in your past. However, you can change your destiny and someone else’s destiny by seizing the opportunities given to you each day to share your faith. “Let your speech at all times be gracious (pleasant and winsome) seasoned [as it were] with salt, [so that you may never be at a loss] to know how you might to answer any one [who puts a question to you.]” Colossians 4:6 (AMP)

Friends someone’s eternal destiny is in your hand. Please share your faith. Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.” Luke 12:3 (NKJ)  To God be the glory! Amen.

The Lord has provided the Way. Now which way are we going to go? Blessing or Wrath?

“For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my son, this day have I begotten thee?

And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?"

HEBREWS 1:5 (KJV)

Sometimes everything in us says go straight or go right, but we ultimately go left. What is that all about? When “something inside told me” to not listen to him or her and I followed my emotions and listened anyway; what was that about? When we know what is wrong but we can’t help ourselves, what is that about? When we plow into that bowl of ice cream at 10:30 at night, what is going on?

Yes we move in God’s Grace, but we move into the consequences of our decisions. Yes, God will give us one more chance, and another chance and yet in still, another opportunity to do the right thing. His Grace is sufficient! But what some people fail to tell you is this: our decisions bring on a series of consequences which must happen because of supernatural laws put into place by God in His Creation.

If we swallow food or drink down the wrong way, we get choked. If we put our hands or hearts in fire; we get burned. If we place our spirits or our bodies in harm’s way, there is disaster, i.e. calamity; spiritual or physical affliction. Avoid pain and conflict when possible. Move on the right road, with the right people. When we look to God, not to man, God will secure our paths and show His Direction for our lives.

God will prove Himself in our circumstances. Ask God to let you see Him move in your life.

“And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water;

and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.”

EXODUS 23:25 (KJV)

God positions us to answer each others prayers. It is important to know that God knows what we are going to ask in prayer before we ask. He also knows our every need. He knows what we need and He knows what we are going to ask. He knows what we want and don’t need.

We are the answer to the prayers of one another. When we pray and ask God to help us or to do this or that, know this: God does it. If God wants it to happen for us, it is done! We have to follow God’s Commands, Commandments and work within His supernatural laws, which He has set in place; but know that it is done.

We are the answer to each other’s prayers. We have to align ourselves with God’s Will for our lives, by following His suggestions, urgings, His voice when He speaks to our spirits, minds, or hearts. When we are obedient to God, we are placed into position to receive the physical manifestation of our prayers, which often is in the form of one another.

The physical has as its foundation, the spiritual. It’s spiritual, then physical.

“Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling,

and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:"

2 THESSALONIANS 1:11 (KJV)

From time to time, you may hear someone say, “They made me feel this way.” Or “They tried to make me feel worthless.” You may hear any number of statements concerning how people have made them feel a certain way.

Let me tell you something—no one can make you feel any way emotionally. It is only we, us, ourselves, you and I, who can make us feel a certain way. What am I saying? I am saying you are in control of your emotions! If you are not, you are in big trouble. Who is, if you are not?

Do not let any one control your emotions. If you let go of the control of your emotions, what happens is you will find a myriad of things, people, life events and even television controlling or moving your emotions beyond where you would normally let them go or what you would normally experience.

We are made in God’s image. Therefore, we must control every part of our being, including our emotions. If we allow others to control our emotions, we must ask ourselves, what other areas of our lives are controlled by others?

Opportunity is a never-ending supply from God. Look for your opportunity! It’s there!

“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us in triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:"

2 CORINTHIANS 2:14,15 (KJV)

Remember, the Lord says that He will never leave us nor forsake us. This is such a magnanimous statement. God will never leave me. This means He is always with me! God is always with me! (HEBREWS 13:5; JOSHUA 1:9)

If God is with me all the time, because He will never leave me, then He will speak to me. If you and I are together for 24/7, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, then you are going to talk to me and I am going to talk to you. We are going to listen to each other and have a conversation. So God is standing or sitting with you right now.

And guess what? He is talking to you right now, waiting for you to turn your ears on and listen to His Voice. He is talking because He is with us 24/7. Therefore we have to know that He is talking and then start to listen. Listen for the Voice of God in your life right now, because He is talking.

Be obedient to the Voice, the commands of God in your life right now. Honor God with your listening and obedience to what He is telling you to do in your life. You will have a better life! The lives which your life touches will be blessed with a better life also. Be blessed! Listen to Jesus the Christ! Our struggles are not our own; we share similar struggles as others.

Our struggles are in the hands of God.

“Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us."

2 TIMOTHY 1:13, 14 (KJV)

Heaviness on the heart is not of the Lord. When we feel the heaviness of heart concerning an issue, a person, a situation, let’s from now on, move it out of the way. The enemies of God like to get us confused in our decision making. One way to do this is to get us to move from an area of prosperity/provision because of how we feel. We must not let our emotions steer us through life.

If we have heaviness of heart in an area, let’s not limit God in this area. Let’s know that this is when God steps up to the plate and hits a home run in our lives! Move the heaviness away by not focusing on past negative experiences, emotions or thoughts associated with the area, situation, person, etc.

Speak to the Lord, right at the moment of heaviness and ask Him what this is all about and what to do concerning this area. He will speak to you immediately! He is an on time God; which means right now, not tomorrow. Release the heaviness, by not limiting God and looking for the movement of God in your area of challenge! God is there!

Life’s challenges are stepping stones leading to blessings for us and for others.

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have:

for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."

HEBREWS 13:5 (KJV)

Sometimes we cannot see the beach because we are looking at a grain of sand. In life it is important not to get too involved in the minuscule aspect of a thing, so much so that we cannot see what the thing is and the impact that it is having on our lives and our world.

In ancient biblical times some religious people were concerned about the circumcision. They were so concerned they many didn’t realize their faith involved the circumcision of their hearts, not a physical one. Today we may get so interested in the semantics and meanings of words that we miss the context in which the words were given. We may even miss the contextual purpose and design of the words. Words are meant to impact the future of a world lost in sin.

Today, we may be so worried about what we don’t have and what we don’t know, that we forget about those people who know little and have little to nothing. Children without parents, adults without food, people with little hope. When we look at the grain of sand in our lives, we sometimes cannot see the beautiful beach on which we walk. If we can’t see the beach, then we miss the ocean also. Take a look around in your world and make a change. Be a change.

We become servant to that which, or to those  whom we are committed.

And you must be called masters (leaders), for you have one Master (Leader), the Christ. He who is great among you shall be your servant. Whoever exalts himself [with haughtiness and empty pride] shall be humbled (brought low); and whoever humbles himself—who has modest opinion of himself and behaves accordingly— shall be raised to honor.

MATTHEW 23:10-12 (AMP)

SERVANTHOOD. A servant is a person who is in total availability to his master. He is at the complete disposal for his master and his work is to serve and please his master. History tells of many faithful servants who have laid down their lives for their masters. A stunning example is that of the faithful servants of David Livingstone, who carried the dead body of their master across the jungles of Africa because they loved him and were faithful in every aspect. They were accountable to their master. Accountability and faithfulness are required of every servant of God. We have to be found faithfully accountable even unto death.

Being accountable is being answerable, responsible, chargeable, liable, duty bound, or obligated. This is one quality we as members of the Body of Christ cannot afford not to have. Right from the beginning of creation, God put mankind in the position of accountability. We have to be accountable for everything over which we are placed in charge. (Matthew 12:35-36; NAS)

Therefore, accountability builds trust and honesty among God’s children. Accountability enables us to support each other wholeheartedly. If you do not trust somebody because you think they are not accountable, you will hardly support them, especially with your finances. They may have genuine needs, but how can you know they are real? Furthermore, haven’t we all been burned or used in the name of the Lord by someone in whom we trusted? Let’s face it, you cannot be independent and at the same time ask people for financial help. The moment you ask for finances, you are liable to those people and you must to give an account for the finances. Your ministry is bound to those people and you are no longer serving God independently.

It will be a glorious experience and God’s wants you to live in readiness

and be ready when it takes place!

“We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.”

1 THESSALONIANS 4:14, 16-17 (NIV)

The word “Rapture” (not found in the Bible) means to be “caught up.” No one knows the day nor the time when the Lord will appear in the clouds, but He will come suddenly and unexpectedly. It is God’s desire for everyone to turn away from a life of sin and lawlessness, and turn to Him in true repentance. This is the first step to living in “readiness.” You continue to build on your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ in your walk with Him from day to day in the reading and studying of God’s Word, the Bible and in fellowship with other believers and in prayer. God wants you to be ready NOW!

All Christians who have died, (and who are in the presence of God), and Christians now alive, who may not be alive when Jesus comes, will be raised first. (see verse 16) After that, all Christians who are alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. (1 Thessalonians 4:17)

God called you to live a life that is holy and acceptable to Him. We did not create ourselves, God did. If you reject Him, He will one day reject you. “For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit.” 1 Thessalonians 4:7-8  Go ahead, if you do not know Jesus personally, call on Him today. He is waiting to hear from YOU.

If you need an overhaul, give God a call.

If you need a make-over, make an appointment with Jesus.

“Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors;

and the King of glory shall come in."

PSALMS 24:7 (KJV)

When you are in an office meeting, which you don’t want to be in in the first place, look for God’s movement there. God is in the overhaul business and what better place to overhaul but corporate offices. God is positioning your fellow employees to overhaul those elements in their lives, which need not be there. He might be overhauling you.

God will expose those elements in our lives in such a public way that we can’t help but see it. When others see our mess, it becomes easier for us to see it. So watch out for the fall out, as the Lord chips away the excess mess to clean up His house. In the executive corporate world, the chips may be as big as boulders, so watch out.

When you are in the meeting and the person(s) in question get ridiculed and demeaned for something, which they did or didn’t do, don’t join in the ridicule. Don’t allow them to have a pity party afterwards either. Assist them. Assist God.

Extend to them the Hand of God, showing them compassion and understanding. Gingerly explain to them what just happened spiritually and why it happened. They may snap at you, but stand fast; they need you. Help God by sweeping up the chips so the person(s) will have a clear path into their new direction. Let us not allow the messy chips, which are leaving our lives to continue to be stumbling blocks! Help one another!

There is no true love without spiritual and physical tears.

“When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her,

he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled. And said, Where have ye laid him?

They said unto him, Lord, come and see. Jesus wept.”

JOHN 11:33-35 (KJV)

Weep. There is no true love without spiritual and physical tears. True love has spiritual fruits. (Galatians 5:22-23; Ephesians 5:9-10) The Word of God is filled with truth. Charity comes first. “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” 1 Corinthians 13:13 (KJV) How can you pray for a person you do not love? Have love towards your brothers and sisters—extend your charity to the unsaved. With charity you are able to preach without fear. At the same time, the power of the Gospel becomes unlimited where charity is. “Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.” 1 Corinthians 13:8 (KJV) You are God’s temple; operate in His Charity. God is love; operate in God’s Love. “Do you not know that you are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16 (ASV)

If you do not have love in your heart towards mankind, ask for it from the Almighty. Where there is love—hope, faith, courage, grace, and the other characteristics of God dwell. Jesus wept because He loved His friend. (John 11:5) You want healing and deliverance? Weep in spirit. “My sacrifice [the sacrifice acceptable] to God is a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart [broken down with sorrow for sin and humbly and thoroughly penitent] such O God, You will not despise.” Psalm 51:17 (AMP) Commit yourself to the truth. Have true love in your heart. God searches our hearts. (Psalm 44:21; Psalm 139:23; Acts 8:21) We reap what we sow. “I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.” Jeremiah 17:10 (KJV)

My brother and sisters never think you can cheat God. You work for nothing. “Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:” 1 Timothy 1:5 (KJV)  Remember, the Gospel has the power to lift you to Heaven. “And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8 (KJV)

Words trigger our imaginations. Our imaginations trigger us into action.

"Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;

(for he is faithful that promised:)"

HEBREWS 10:23 (KJV)

We often hear people say, God gave me this vision or God gave me that vision. You have to ask yourself, “Did God really give them that vision?” You may ask yourself, “Do they really believe in their vision?”

If a person believes in their vision, they will put tons of time into that vision. If they really believe in their vision, their hearts will be in it; their hearts, souls, time and money will be locked onto that vision. This is one way to know if a person is giving “lip service” to their vision or are working the vision.

If a person really believes their vision or dream is from God, then they will be willing to put everything on the line for the vision. They know that the vision is from the Creator of all things and therefore, He can and will restore any of the “material things” which are given up in obtaining the vision, God’s vision.

If God has given you a vision, then God is going to make a way for the vision. God already knows what burdens, what financial pressures people have. A person with the vision must be willing to give up “material things” which can help achieve the God-given vision. Make sure your vision is Biblical in nature, because it will adhere to God’s Supernatural Laws. We have to believe the vision from the top of our heads to the bottom of our feet. People like to say, “Where God places a vision, He places His Provision.” Believe it!

We have responsibilities to Accomplish.

Be a better Christian—Have the Compassion of Christ.

“Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name,

he gave the right to become children of God—”
JOHN 1:12
(NIV)

As Christians we are so much blessed
and privileged to be people adopted into the family of God. No one is the child of God from her/his birth, rather a sinner from the birth. And the sinners are the children of David. But according to John 1:12, those who receive Jesus and those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become the children of God. Let us not forget that we are saved sinners. We were children of David, but became children of God. Unless someone receive Him and believe in His name. They are not children of God. Sad, but many assume to be children of God, while being in the family of David. Begetting (being born) in a Christian family will not make someone Christian really. Probably this is the great fact missing in Christian families. Because the fact is missing, the Christians have lost the passion for Christ and for the lost souls. Friends let us remember, the passion for Christ can only make us grow into better Christians.

So when we are included into the family of God, we have some responsibilities to accomplish and not formalities to perform. The business in the family of God is to win the perishing souls. The Master in the family says, GO, PREACH, BAPTIZE, MAKE DISCIPLES. Friends, let us care for what the Master says if we are members of His family. It’s the passion for Christ that lets us hear Him and go.

There is a river called Ganges in India; it’s a holy river. It is the Hindu belief that this river has the power to clean the sin of a sinner. Millions of Hindus take a holy dip to be forgiven by sin. Once I happened to go to the riverside and saw a woman bitterly crying.

I asked her, “Sister tell me how can I help you?” No reply. “May I help you sister?” I asked again.

“There is none who can help me,” the reply came. Then she said again, “My husband is a drunkard; a man of sinful nature and lives a life of immorality. I don’t know how he can be free out of all kind of sins.”

I said, “Sister, there is a person who not only has the power to make your husband free but your family free too. And He is beside you right now. He’s ready to set your husband free and you as well. The person is Jesus Christ. Believe in His name and receive Him as your Saviour and all will be all right.”

I asked her to pray after me and before I could say, “Amen,” she hugged me and said crying, “Why didn’t you come to me just a minute before? Because I threw my only son into the river to be free from sin and to get mental peace.”

Friends, are we really not concerned about the souls which are going away without Christ? Are we really not concerned about the children who are being thrown into the river to be forgiven? Friends, we are in the family of God. God loves the world and the world is His. Let us accomplish the responsibilities with a great passion to bring the others into God’s fold. God bless you and please help. Amen.

As we deal with the adversary,

we must faint not and pray always—persevere.

“And he spake a parable unto them to this end,

that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;”

LUKE 18:1 (18:1-8) (KJV)

Because we are Christians, there is a need that we must keep pressing on, and keep holding on to Jesus Christ. We as Christians must always keep trusting God and always keep telling Him that which you desire from Him. Despite the difficulties you must be going through, its important that you keep looking up to God and know that He, and He alone, is able to do exceedingly great miraculous things in your life.

Despite the condition King David went through or was faced with, he still trusted God. That’s why he said in the book of Psalms 121:1-2, “I will lift up my eyes to the hills—from whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, who made the heavens and earth.” (NKJV) David was persistent in trusting God and knew that he was going to keep pressing on God, trusting in God, believing in God, relying on God, expecting God to provide that which he desired of God before resting. These are other biblical individuals who were persistent. Look at Job; he was persistent in seeking God’s face to heal him and indeed He did heal him. (Job 42:10)

Abraham was also persistent; he was 100 years when God answers his prayers to give him Isaac. (Genesis 21:5) Joseph was 16 years or so from his being sold into slavery (as a teenager) and going to prison when God opens up to him and he becomes Vizier (Prime Minister) of all of Egypt, because of Joseph’s persistency in his belief in God. Zacharias and Elisabeth were both “well advanced in years” when she had a son because of their persistency in their service to the LORD and their obedience “in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.” Luke 1:6 (NKJV) The children of Israel were in bondage for 400 years (or less by some accounts), but they were still persistent and believed that God would deliver them from the hands of their evil masters; they did not give up.

Be persistent and know that God is able. “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21 (KJV)

Return to your family (and your Heavenly Family)

open, vulnerable, with forgiveness, mercy, and patience.

“And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year,

and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family.”

LEVITICUS 25:10 (NKJ)

Y

ear of Jubilee. (Leviticus 25:8-55) The LORD spoke to Moses in Leviticus 25 establishing the Law of the Year of Jubilee. In Judaism, Y.O.J., the year after a cycle of seven sets of seven years: 49 years. Catholicism instituted the first Year of Jubilee in 1300. During the Year of Jubilee, there were a number of things which were or were not to happen:

1)       Proclaim liberty to all everywhere. What this means is to let go, forgive the debts which are owed to you by others. Have tolerance for your family members who are not the nicest persons. Forgive yourself, let go of that debt you have demanded payment from yourself which you can never repay. When you can do this it will be a “Jubilee” for you.

2)       When you let go of what is binding you, holding you back, creating or being an obstacle in your life; when you move to help others in their bondage to become free “you shall return to your possession.” You will be able to work in your talent. You will be able to know what your talent is; your talents are. You will receive that which is for you, that which has been in Heaven waiting on your obedience to be released to bless you.

3)       You can now go home in the correct spirit. You can go home to your paternal family. You can go to church to your spiritual family. You Heavenly Family with help you with your confidence and supply you with the strength to endure that which the enemy of God will ultimately throw at you to harm your relationship with Christ Jesus.

“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to preach the acceptable year of the LORD.” Luke 4:18-19 (Isaiah 61:1) (NKJ)  The Year of Jubilee is a time of real blessings. It is a special time in which to share and receive God’s blessings which He has bestowed upon the earth. When we receive Christ Jesus in our lives, He becomes our Year of Jubilee. He is our lifetime of Jubilee.

Your miracle lies in the needs of others;

extend a helping hand.

“And they found an Egyptian in the field, and brought him to David, and gave him bread, and he did eat; and they made him drink water; and they gave him a piece of cake of figs, and two clusters of raisins: and when he had eaten, his spirit came again to him: for he had eaten no bread, nor drunk any water, three days and three nights. And David said unto him, To whom belongest thou? and whence art thou? And he said, I am a young man of Egypt, servant to an Amalekite; and my master left me, because three days agone I fell sick.”

1 SAMUEL 30:11-13 (KJV)

Dear SAINT…Tempest tossed and bruised,
there is hope for you! Sometimes you get to your wits end; there cornered, you think that God has forsaken you. Take heart and hear what the Holy Spirit is saying. David had come to this point in his life, but he encouraged himself in the Lord. He both believed and obeyed God’s word to pursue, for he would recover all. However, the lesson lay in an Egyptian who was abandoned by his master to die.

God could be allowing you to go through this situation because there is someone with another skin color, from a different tribe than you, one who has been abandoned to die. Your miracle lies in helping this desolate person. For David, it was not a distraction—it was not a delay. For him, it was in the line of duty. Alas, it was this abandoned and dying stranger with a different skin color and religion who held the key to David’s miracle. It was David’s value of human life that made him get the keys from this strange person.

How often we have missed the answers to our prayers because we were not sensitive to the needs of others. Out there on you way to searching out your miracle is some stranger in need. Will you reach out to them and receive your miracle by being God’s hands extended in answer to their prayers?

Let us not be afraid of that which is good for us.

"Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save;

neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:"

ISAIAH 59:1 (KJV)

This will change your life forever if you receive it: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Joshua 1:9c and Hebrews 13:5b. The Lord will never leave us nor forsake us. Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us. The Holy Spirit will never leave us nor forsake us. What this means is God is with us always. God is omnipresent. He is with us all the time! He hears all and He sees all.

If you and I were together all the time, what would we do? What would we be doing? If God was with you all the time what would He be doing?

We would be talking to one another! God would be talking to us. And that is what God, Jesus or the Holy Spirit is doing with us—talking! They are talking to us all the time. What we have to do is position ourselves to listen, to hear the voice of God. We must 1) know that God, Jesus or the Holy Spirit is talking to us, 2) we must listen for the voice of God in our minds, hearts, spirits and in God’s other creations, and 3) we must obey the voice of God in our lives. God is talking. He is always talking, but we are not always listening. And when we do talk to Him, we are not always listening for His response. God will respond!

If we talk to God, He talks back to us. If we do not talk to God, He speaks to us anyway. Listen for the voice of God in your life. He is talking. We must listen and obey. God is an ever-present hope in our times of need or trouble, because He is with us always! Speak to God and He will speak to you!

Procrastination stifles and stagnates success.

Stop postponing your dreams, delaying and making excuses—take action.

"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."

1 CORINTHIANS 15:58 (KJV)

When it seems like we are having a bad day, it is important to move into the good part of our “bad” day. A friend of mine finished their day, but it ended with turmoil between them and their family members with whom they do not live. When I connected with the person, they were noticeably upset and they voiced their exasperation (which is good) to me.

I had correctly connected this person’s music device to a stereo, but because they were in more a negative space than a positive one, they incorrectly tried (and failed) to get sound out of the system. Having a bad day is no excuse for poor judgment.

The lesson to learn is: when we feel like we are having a “bad” day, we are not having a “bad” day. Everyday in the land of the living is a “good” day. We have to look for the Goodness of the Lord in the day. When we get attacked by our spouses, bosses, family or whomever it may be, realize that the attacks are from the enemies of God. It only looks like our families, bosses, or neighbors are the perpetrators. They are being used as helpless victims of the enemies of the cross.

We have to recognize from whom the attack is coming and take appropriate action; binding and loosing. Bind evil and cast it from them. Loose Christ Jesus’ blood in their lives to wash them of their iniquity. Bind the Will of God upon their lives so they can obtain salvation and live in the spirit of service to God.

We oftentimes miss the blessings God intended for us

when we ignore others just because of their outward appearance.

“But the LORD said to Samuel,
'Do not consider his appearance, or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at.

Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.'”

1 SAMUEL 16:7 (NIV)

Saul, Israel’s first King, was later rejected by God, because of his disobedience to God’s Word. God sent Samuel to Bethlehem to meet with Jesse and to anoint one of his sons who would be the next king. (1 Samuel 16:1) Upon his arrival in Bethlehem, Samuel met with the Elders of the town, and Jesse, and invited Jesse and his sons to the sacrifice. (1 Samuel 16:5)

This was the big moment. 1 Samuel 16:3 tells us that God would show Samuel what he must do, and also which one of the sons he was to anoint. Jesse and seven of his eight sons were present. When Samuel saw Eliab, the oldest son of Jesse, Samuel thought “Surely the LORD’s anointed stands here before the LORD.” 1 Samuel 16:6 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider HIS APPEARANCE or HIS HEIGHT, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” (Verse 7)

Finally, after the seven sons pass before him, Samuel enquired, and had Jesse send for David, the youngest son who tended the sheep. When David arrived, the Lord said to Samuel. “Rise and anoint him; he is the one.”

Can we ask ourselves the question: How many times have we, as Christians overlooked others, and think that he or she is not important, and needed ? Perhaps maybe, he is not eloquent in speech or educated, or she is handicapped. Perhaps we think, he or she does not have what it takes and therefore, is not important to the kingdom of God. Do we entertain such thinking? When the speaker comes to town, and he or she does not have the appearance you think one should have; do you listen to him or her? THESE ARE SERIOUS MISTAKES ANYONE CAN POSSIBLY MAKE, but we can thank God that mistakes are avoidable if we are guided by God’s Holy Spirit.

Just because there is delay, doesn’t mean there is deny.

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."

JOHN 1:12-13 (KJV)

Waiting on the Lord, means commit planned action to our goals, but look and wait on the intervention of the Lord, His heavenly family and His children in our situations. We have to allow the obedience of those in our up-lines and down- lines to align themselves with what God has planned and spoken to those individuals whose lives touch ours and whose lives our lives are to touch.

It is not God who we are waiting on; it is those individual’s obedience we are waiting on. We are waiting on them to hear (listen to and find) the voice of God in their lives. Then they must understand it is God and decide how God has purposed them to move on the voice of God (how they are to be obedient). Now they must put into action that which God has purposed for them (walking with the Lord; moving in step with the Lord).

Moving in step with the Lord, being obedient to the Lord’s Commands (His voice) is a cascading effect; what one person does, effects the next. The next person effects the next and so on and so forth.

The Lord never stops moving and doing a thing (or things). He is always doing things; this means if He is sitting on His throne, His Sovereignties, His Angels, etc. and His children are doing that which He desires to happen in His Divine Creation.

Internationally, people are being taught and conditioned to “be different.” Only, to-day being different often translates into being selfish. People believe they can “do things their way” with the goal of reaching some new, original “level.” Sadly enough this secular, worldly ideology has found its way into the sanctuary, ultimately influencing “the elect.” In our churches people want to worship, praise, and conduct services while leaning to their own understanding. Loudly, the WORD admonishes against such behavior. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” Proverb 3:5 (KJV) Churches want to incorporate hip-hop music, extra offerings (greed), and extra services (sometimes so that they can have extra offerings) in attempts to serve self not GOD.

As born again believers we must address and correct accepted and incorrect beliefs and traditions in society! Sometimes it seems that everything around us says we can have it our way. Whether by using the television, the radio, or the internet, society tells us that we can us our own creativity and agency to make our lives more desirable for us. Usually, these avenues use materialism to tempt our personal enterprise. The aim is to take our attention away from the Blood of the Lamb! GOD’s WORD does not agree. The book of MATTHEW tells us to deny ourselves! “He that findeth his life shall lose it; and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.” Matthew 10:39 GOD says woe unto the rich. “But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.” 1 TIMOTHY 6:9 Yet, thousands or even millions of “believers” play the lottery, join pyramid clubs, attend “get rich quick” seminars, and tithe for the purpose of receiving a material blessing! The LORD rebuke thee. (JUDE 9)

Believers, don’t be self-centered. Remove egoism, selfishness, and pride. Go through trials, difference, and uncomfortable situations by following the statues and commandments of Yahweh! Yahweh’s WORD and SPIRIT direct us. Believe believer!

No Matter the good or bad in your life, God loves you.

“For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and loveable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things—fix your minds on them.”

PHILIPPIANS 4:8 (AMP)

S

eason’s Greetings. I just want to say thank you for your support and God bless you and your family. No matter what you may be going through; no matter what you are dealing with. No matter who has hurt you to the bone; no matter who has left you for another. No matter who has given until they can’t give anymore; no matter if you have cried your last tear. No matter if you don’t have a bite to eat and children are dying in your arms. I am here to tell you that God loves you and everything in your life, no matter how bad or good it looks; it, whatever you are going through is going to work for the benefit of Christ Jesus and all of God’s Creation.

So if you are going through something, count it all joy. “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,” James 1:2 (NKJ) I have been through something and I am sure that I will go through something else before I die. “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 (NKJ)  If you have tried to change that thing, have tried to find work and cannot find it, tried many things which left you hollow, empty, and without joy—turn to Christ, speaking to Him aloud. Tell Him what is going on in your world, how you want Him to help; and let it not be a selfish request. “You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.” James 4:3 (NKJ)  Pray for, request something for others other than you and your family, other than you and your ministry.

There is more to life than running up and down that same mountain. Hang in there—have patience—have peace—have joy—have love. Show love, show patience, show joy, show peace and that is what you will receive, not only when you get home to Heaven, but while here on earth. Not only will you receive the Attributes of God, but you will activate them in your life. God loves you and so do I. God sees the good in your future. You must see it too. Have Christ at Christmas. Have Christmas (a relationship with Christ) year round. Have a blessed life.

In the Beginning was the Word

1 IN the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. (John)

(John 1:1-5)

The Angel Gabriel

26 AND in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. 28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. (Luke)

(Luke 1:26-28)

29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. 34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
(Luke)

(Luke 1:29-34)

35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. 36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. 37 For with God nothing shall be impossible. 38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
(Luke)

(Luke 1:35-38)

The Conception of Jesus

18 NOW the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. (Matthew)

22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, (O.T. prophecy in Isaiah 7:14) 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. 24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: 25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.
(Matthew)

(Matthew 1:18-25)

The Birth of Jesus

1 AND it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. 2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) 3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. 4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) 5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. 6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. (Luke)

(Luke 2:1-7)

8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
(Luke)

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. 15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.
(Luke)

16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. 17 And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. 18 And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. 19 But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. 20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.
(Luke)

(Luke 2:8-20)

"Pray before me, and I will receive thy prayer:''

“The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him sincerely and in truth.”

PSALM 145:18 (NIV)

A

re you tired? Do you feel weary? Call unto Him and He will answer you and give you strength. Granny Zhu is a Chinese Granny in New Zealand who is now close to 85years. Every year she goes to China leading many to Jesus, seeing signs, wonders, and miracles; spending 3 - 6 months evangelizing.

The day finished at 3am; everyone was very tired. The senior pastor said to me, “Aren’t you tired!”  I replied, “God gave me supernatural strength today.” It was in Cuba. We had left the house late that morning at 8:30 am and came in the jeep to a mountain of mud! There were three services that very hot day. One of which was at the top of the mountain that faced us. Two hours later after failing to drive through the mud we arrived at the church after walking up the mountain to the meeting. On the way up I cried out to the Lord and said, “Lord How will I manage, there are three meetings to minister and preach at today and now I have to walk three hours!” The Lord heard my cry! It was as though I had an injection of supernatural strength and I never felt tired the whole day. God gave me supernatural strength and from that day to today I have and do operate in an incredible level of spiritual and physical strength.

CALL MEANS: a request, to summon, to cry, to arrange, to set up, to appeal, a plea, to shout. Start to do it today. In Joshua 10, the army was going to war. They marched all night, they fought all day. God gave them a great victory that day. They fought all the next day too, as the sun did not go down!! (Joshua 10:13) God gave them supernatural strength for the task He gave them to complete. The Scripture never says anywhere they got tired and had to take a rest. God gives us supernatural strength. We are to be a supernatural people operating differently to the world operating and living supernaturally. We have to stop living like wimps living like the world and pull down from heaven the strength we need to do the task that is before us.

Let me pray with you: Lord I recognize there is a level of living that I know little of. The Bible speaks often of strength in You. That You give the weary strength, that those who wait on you will renew their strength. Thank you that I will mount up with wings as of an eagle and You will increase my strength for the fulfillment of the task You have given me. Thank You Lord Amen.

Emmanuel: God is with us.

“In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell safely;

now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.”

JEREMIAH 23:6 (NKJ)

E

mmanuel. God is with us. Let me share with you what the Holy Spirit shared with me concerning Jesus’ name: JESUS. I asked the LORD, “What was up with the name Jesus?” I know that spiritual beings have spiritual names and names the religious institutions assign to them. A spiritual name, holy name, or spiritual word is called a Tetragrammaton. It is a word with the vowels removed, i.e., Jehovah (name artificially constructed was added to the Bible incorrectly in 1512) represented as JHVH. And as with YAHWEH, the Most High: YHWH.

The name Jesus is not a Tetragrammaton. So I wanted to know the spiritual name for Jesus. “Then he said, ‘Hear now, O house of David! Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will you weary my God also?’ Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.” Isaiah 7:13-14 (NKJ) This is Jesus’ Tetragrammaton name: MMNL. It can also be found in Isaiah 8:8. Additionally: “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” Matthew 1:23 (KJV) This is another Tetragrammaton name for Jesus: MMNL.

“But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:20-21 (KJV)  I understand the name Jesus is the English for these different names: Aramaic (Yeshua), Hebrew (Yehoshua), Greek (Iesous), Latin (Iesus) and/or Ancient Aramaic (Eashoa’). The Holy Spirit let me understand that Joseph named the child Jesus (Matthew 1:25) because the angel of the LORD told him to do so (Matthew 1:21) due to the fact that King Herod was looking for this child king who was to rule the world. The soldiers and agents of Herod were looking for the name the priests told him in scripture it would be: Immanuel (Isaiah 7:14). But you see, the New Testament was just about to be born and Jesus’ name wasn’t known as Jesus. Herod was looking for “God is with us,” Immanuel. Everyone would have known right away that Jesus or Immanuel was the child they were looking for because His name would have given him away. So therefore the name Jesus was used.

Killing is very bad because no one can make humans.

“And He said, ‘What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground. So now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. When you till the ground, it shall no longer yield its strength to you. A fugitive and a vagabond you shall be on the earth.’”

GENESIS 4:10-12 (NKJ)

A

m I my brother’s keeper? Killing is very bad because no one can make humans. Why are people killing people with poison, bombs, bullets, and the lack of love? Because of our lack of understanding one another and our desire not to want to share lands, businesses, inheritances, and other things of the world, people suffer and die.

Do you like to live your life like Cain who killed his brother Abel? Once you are a killer, you cannot go free from God’s punishment. A killer must not go unpunished in this earth and will not go unpunished in hell also. People are killing each other for useless reasons and never care that God is watching the world.

I knew of one young man who is from a poor family. And after his primary education, the family accepted that he would learn how to repair cars and moved his life in that direction. At the age of 16, this young man was obedient to the master of car repairs and after 10 years of being an apprentice, the master settled with him so that he could open a place where he could practice his career.

Just after 3 years of his good works, barely eking out a living; robbers attacked him because they needed money and after that money—things. One of them killed this young man at age of twenty-nine. Yes, he is dead. But those involved are not free, except if they repent now. The Lord never took it easy on Cain (Genesis 4:12); so do not live like Cain, because as murderers, killers, God will not take it easy on us either.

“And the LORD said to him, ‘Therefore, whoever kills Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold.’ And the LORD set a mark on Cain, lest anyone finding him should kill him.” Genesis 4:15 (NKJ) So, vengeance for killing, vengeance for sin, belongs to God and Him alone. May God bless you all in life with a long, happy, and healthy life.

The Lord will judge all your oppressors.

“The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed”

PSALM 103:6 (KJV)

A

re you under oppression of any kind? I am glad to tell you that this morning the LORD is a judge that works vindication for those that are oppressed. Only what you need to do is to make your petition unto Him.

The Egyptians and Pharaoh oppressed the children of Israel. The scripture says, “And it came to pass I process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage. And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them.” Exodus 2:23-25 (KJV).

God already knew that they were under oppression, but they needed to make their petition unto Him. God will only come unto the scene of your life and deliver you from all forms of oppression if you call Him as the Judge of your case.

There is nothing God can do when you refuse to call Him to judge your oppressors and vindicate you. Present your case this morning and tell Him everything He needs to know about your case. He is your vindicator, Advocate and Judge.

“Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the captives of the righteous be delivered? But thus says the LORD: ‘Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible be delivered; for I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will save your children. I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh, and they shall be drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine. All flesh shall know that I, the LORD am your Savior, and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.’” Isaiah 49:24-26 (NKJ)  So you see, you can’t lose.

A family which shares together stays together.

“And a multitude was sitting around Him; and they said to Him, ‘Look, Your mother and Your brothers are outside seeking You.’ But He answered them, saying, ‘Who is My mother, or My brothers?’ And He looked around in a circle at those who sat about Him, and said, ‘Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother.’”

MARK 3:32-35 (NKJ)

F

amily Meeting. I have found that it is very important to have or try to have family meetings or household meetings. The meetings should be held once a month, twice a month, or once a week. Initially, they should be held once a week until the issues and discussions have diminished from where they were when the first meeting was held.

The household should have a meeting once a week initially if it can be scheduled, otherwise schedule it when everyone is available. Schedule the meeting for an hour and expect it to go over that time the first few meetings until you and everyone involved gets the hang of it. The meeting is an open forum for expression where everyone gets to share in an environment of love with one another about their lives: school, church, home, work, play, individuals at home, individuals at school, church, play, work to talk about issues which are pressing you in spirit, heart, emotionally, or any type of concern, oppression, or issue which is troubling you should be discussed.

When it comes to talking about issues which are negative or people who are negative, the issue MUST be wrapped in something positive. Something positive about the issue must be said BEFORE the negative and something positive about the issue or person must be said AFTER the negative is brought forward. Individuals should be able speak their minds and speak their peace, but cannot be allowed to speak without end. The meeting leader must ensure everyone has an opportunity to speak and if that means shortening a discussion then politely discontinue the discussion. Also, there can be no cross-talking, people talking among themselves while the discussion is going on with the rest of the group. Only one person speaks at a time.

You may find that initially no one wants to have the meeting. Perhaps after the first meeting no one will want to do the next one. If you politely press the idea and allow others to run the meeting, opening and ending with prayer, then there may be success with your family meeting. And you will see how much healing happens as the facility of having effective, open communication through family meetings enhances open communication throughout family interactions; promoting personal growth.

Grow up in the Word of God.

"Then Satan went out from the presence of the LORD, and struck Job with painful boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head. And he took for himself a potsherd with which to scrape himself while he sat in the midst of the ashes. Then his wife said to him, ‘Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die!’ But he said to her, ‘You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God and shall not accept adversity?’ In all this Job did not sin with his lips."

JOB 2:7-10 (NKJ)

T

o Grow Up in the Word of God-1.  Christians do hear the Word of God; in fact many of us spend a long time in the many different churches. There must be a progress of maturity—a process of maturing. We do not have to be going around and around in a circle. We must grow.

The Apostle Paul is the one who told the church of Galatia, "I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; which is really not another; only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ."  Galatians1:6-7 (NAS) He went further and said: "You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified?” Galatians 3:1 (NAS)  These words were spoken  to the church of Galatia, because of their lack of growth in their spiritual life, the church left sound doctrine.

The Bible contains a lot of instances of people who faithfully served God with courage and maturity; people who had great faith, people who kept the things of God in their hearts. Let us take the example of Job, in the Old Testament. We see how God Himself testified about Job before the Devil. So, God should also give a good testimony towards our works.

It is possible to be accepted by God; if only we do whatever He wants us to do in the Word. Therefore, in times like this, we should show forth and set a good example as Job did. This man Job was very rich in cattle, in sheep, and in camel. He was comfortable and did not lack anything in his life. “And the LORD said to Satan, ‘Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man fearing God and turning away from evil. And he still holds fast his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to ruin him without cause.’” Job 2:3 (NAS)  Though Job seriously faced and encountered a lot of problems, such as losing all his  children and losing all his wealth, he kept on trusting God with all his heart. Trust God in all of your circumstances.

Light of Hope Association

LOHA's  main focus is on children and widows in need. Let us try to help them any way we can. Sunny helps in preaching the Word of God. But thought that may be all our sold needs yet this is a plea for more. Helping is a voluntary action and compulsory one.  The Bible says, "He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward him for what he has done. Proverb 19:17.

Dearest my Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Praise the Lord! We know that you have more things to do but we come to you for your contribution about the school fees for our orphans. Our situation is very sad now. The Headmaster needs the school fees.

The children are at school now, but they have many difficulties: school fees, food, materials... My Brothers and Sisters, send your contributions and we hope you continue to find other benevolent stewards for our orphans.
